I am so lucky to have had DJ Kahn's name referred to me early in the wedding process. After all, a wedding reception is all about the music! Once we met for the first time, my husband (fiance at the time!) and I knew we were in the best of hands. Kahn is professional and passionate about his craft. His demo showed us his skill, and his references were thrilled with his ability to establish a happy and lively wedding environment. Kahn spoke with us in several meetings and via email about our specific music taste. He worked for a few weeks to collect all of our specific music choices, and was understanding of some of our more ecclectic requests from my parents! For the night of the wedding, we had requested an absolute party- and that is exactly what he provided! His music choices were expert, and he kept the diverse loves of our 300-person crowd in balance. There was not a moment of the evening that the dance floor was not crowded with dancing and singing party-goers. Also, the schedule of the evening shifted several times throughout the night, and Kahn was unflusterable. He smoothly transitioned us all to each portion of the evening, and was a calm and understated presence. Kahn handled the evening with grace and an obvious love of his craft. It was a fantastic dance party, and I have heard from all of my guests that this wedding was "incredible." From my middle-aged colleagues to my younger cousins, everyone was thrilled with the songs that they heard. I have already had two brides-to-be who were in attendance ask me for Kahn's information because they had such a fantastic time. Just as importantly, he is a kind and warm person, and I was excited to see him and have him as a guest at my wedding.

We loved working with Con. Since the first day we met, Con was easy to work with, personable, professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. Every time we sent Con an email, we got a prompt response. Con paid attention to important details and made sure that everything was perfect. Con was meticulous with the song requests and timing. Thanks to Con, our entrance dance, first dance, and slideshow turned out perfectly. Also, Con looks good and has a great voice - his presence made our reception more sophisticated and youthful. If we had to choose again, we would work with Con without hesitation.

Con was amazing to work with! We found Con after our first DJ backed out, so we had our reservations before meeting him. After we met with him, however, we were put at ease by his professional attitude and easy-going demeanor. Con was always prompt with his email communications and responsive to our specific requests. He was especially accommodating about a slide-show during our reception and even brought an extra set of speakers for it. Of course, Con's DJ skills were top notch. He effortlessly weaved in some of my favorite songs that I had picked out and a selection of amazingly danceable tunes that I had not. Our guests were on the floor all night long! The thing most overheard at my wedding, "your DJ is amazing", my guests had a blast and the dance floor was packed all night. I cannot recommend DJ Kahn enough. I've been tow alot of weddings and the two that he DJ'ed (my firends and mine) were by far the best ddance sets ever. He even goes aboe and beyond working with the venue and matriee'de to make sure you stay on schedule and have a good time. The most amazing part was there was a song outside of the genre's we gave him that I was singing a few days before the wedding, and just based on our meetings he had selected it (never told him the song- it was "I'm on my way") and played it during the cocktail hour - a single tear streamed down my face. If you need a DJ for an event your search shoudl start and end with DJ Kahn. Meet with other DJs in between if you like having unecessary conversations and want to do the "wedding planning" thing, but in the end you won't do any better (superior performance at a great value).

DJ Khan was absolutely amazing. The music was excellent, the dance floor was packed the entire night and our guests complimented the music/DJ. Away from the dance floor Khan was very responsive, professional and very pleasant to work with.

We had our wedding just last saturday after both Hurricane Sandy and the Noreaster. This was, if you can imagine, nothing short of crazy. And considering that we had a total DIY wedding, with guests from out of the country and town, and that we were without power, gas, heat, water, etc for 1.5 weeks, my stress level was BEYOND CRAZY! As such, our focus for the wedding was be nothing but fun -- one where we, and all of our guests, could dance all night and, for at least a moment, let all of our worries wash away. This is definitely what we got. DJ Kahn was soooo, sooo amazing for the entire night!!! He played everything that we wanted, added some extras in, and made it into the most amazing wedding that many of our guests ever attended. Considering that the hubs is a musician, and that I can't imagine life w/o music, our music list was aggressive -- not one that can be handled by all. But DJ Kahn made it happen and the dance floor was never empty. Everyone told us at the end that they'd never had more fun. The music list was impeccable. And my new hubs and I had the best, most special, most romantic, most absolute fun day so far of our lives. Not only this, but prior to our wedding, DJ Kahn was so attentive and so helpful. He answered any question that we had and helped us w/ solutions as to how to keep the vibe that we wanted going, both flawlessly and fluidly. In the end, we had our hora, jazz, elvis, dean martin, notorious big, p!nk, guns n roses and everything in between w/o a hitch. If there's any DJ that I can recommend, it'd be DJ Kahn. Hire him and you won't be disappointed. And his friendliness, ease and well-dressed manner were just an added bonus. Love Love Love him!!!

My husband and I hired DJ Kahn for our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and it was one of the best decisions we made during the entire planning process. Constantine was extremely easy to work with, incredibly responsive and really took the time to listen and understand the vibe we were seeking for our wedding. He delivered exactly what we wanted. Our guests were dancing from the minute the reception started and our dance floor was packed until the last song. We were concerned about incorporating some salsa music for my husband's family and whether it would disrupt the flow for our non-salsaing guests, but Constantine handled it perfectly. The salsa set was great, played at exactly the right time in the evening and was the perfect length - his choices even got a bunch of non-family members out on the floor. I really cannot overstate how happy we were with Constantine. Our friends have been raving about Con ever since our wedding and telling us they have never seen so much dancing at a wedding. I cannot recommend DJ Kahn highly enough. We didn't have to make set lists (although he was open to any requests or suggestions we had) or spend a ton of time stressing about music. We gave him an idea of our tastes and he killed it. I don't have one negative thing to say about Con. He was professional, nice and we knew as soon as we met him that we could trust him to do a great job. Hire DJ Kahn - you won't regret it!

Constantine was a pleasure to work with. He made our wedding so special. In meeting with him a few times and completing a worksheet of suggested songs, genres, etc, he really made the effort to get to know us. And as a result, the music he played at our wedding was a perfect reflection of us, and led to a fantastic dance party! Constantine was truly amazing! Before we met with him in person, we had read so many great reviews online. Everything that was said was affirmed at our first consultation. Constantine was very professional, diligent, and detailed about his work. He was so easy to work with, he listened carefully to all our thoughts and needs and made great suggestions to better help the flow of the music and event. He delivered all of our requests and accommodated all our needs in addition he also added his flare which made every single minute of our celebration so prefect. He made the wedding planning process very much at ease and is the reason why we were able to enjoy our big day without worrying about any hickups. To this day, our friends and family are still raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor at our celebration. Every single member of our party was dancing like there was no tomorrow. OH MY GOD! Kahn is AMAZING! Run, Do not walk to book him. Infact stop reading this and just call for an initial meeting. if you continue reading you should know that this is a man who LOVES what he does and you can see that! The night was truly seamless thanks to Kahn. He was everything we could have wanted and more. Then entire night, EVERYBODY was on their feet dancing the night away. 3 days later people are still talking about him and saying how amazing of a Job he did. We met with several DJ companies where they had a "Gimmick" or a "Hype Man" and with Kahn those extras were not needed. We first met Kahn and you could see his passion for music and being a DJ. He really took what we gave him and made an amazing balance bridging the gap between our friends and our parents generation and truly eased everybody into it...and once we were at a galloping pace he kicked it up another notch! He brings turntables and actually spins and mixes live as opposed to using all digital equipment. He doesn't need the extra lighting or the TV monitors or compiling a video of you and your husband/ bride to be because he really does a beautiful job of keeping it simple and being true to the party. Very personable and receptive. Everything we asked for and any changes we had, he did for us. He really tailor made the evening to us. He asked us what types of music we wanted, what artists, what songs we "absolutely wanted" played and he did it. Even down to the Cocktail Hour set, salad, dinner and desert it was beautiful. We even incorporated a few different songs in our ceremony and Kahn did a wonderful job with that. My mom's friends son is getting married in a year and asked for the DJ information. All of the "Adults" kept coming up to my wife and I saying, where did you find him? He is fabulous. And he really is. Worth every penny and more so and very VERY reasonably priced! Constantine was everything we wanted in a DJ and more. He was open and interested in everything we had to say He was unbelievable professional from the moment we met and his vibe was just right. He also actually DJ'd which was noticed and appreciated by all of guests, one whom is a music critic for a major music publication. We are still getting requests for CD's. All of guests danced until they no longer could. Many that never dance were some of the last ones standing. If you are looking for a DJ look no further. Constantine is your man.

Constantine was recommended to us by our caterer and we were so happy that we found him. He is genuinely nice and passionate about what he does which shows through his work. I only met with him briefly before the wedding because i got sick the week before but he was able to pull things off without a problem and has a great sense about what music to play and when to change things up to keep the party going. WOW! Music was the most important aspect of creating our wedding. DJ Kahn was phenomenal at our wedding. He created an amazing vibe throughout the whole evening, from cocktail hour to the very last song. His sense of flow and ability to read the crowd were spot on, and so many guests commented on the fabulous music. The most frequent compliment I received on the wedding night was that, "your DJ is awesome!" It was basically non-stop dancing from before appetizers to the last song. DJ Kahn elaborated on our song recommendations and made the dancing the highlight of the evening.

I would give 10 stars if I could. His ability to get people of all ages to the dance floor was amazing. And in the case of my wedding it was multiple ages from multiple cultures...and somehow he made it work. The other thing was the care he took in the planning portion prior to the event. He was just really knowledgeable and helpful in planning the ceremony and how the music was folded into the event. He changed our schedule from our original thought several times, and in hindsight, all for the better. If he is available to DJ your wedding, just go ahead and sign up. It's worth it.

Working with him was a very easy process and he does not only handle the music and announcements. Con is AWESOME! He is not only professional, but also a bad a$$ DJ. We asked him to keep the dancing floor full and he did all night long! During the wedding planning process you learn to treasure people that are both great at what they do and that make things easier on a crazy, crazy day. There's a lot of information to convey here, but I'll try to keep my praise organized. First, the music was tremendous. All of our friends marveled at it throughout and after the event. DJK executed exactly the vibe we wanted, at every phase of the evening. The cocktail hour, the music for which DJK preselected, had all the guests happy and primed for a pretty raucous reception. He somehow had foxtrots and waltzes to keep our parents happy at the very beginning of dancing sets. Having built up the energy gradually through the night, DJK played two hours of a full-tilt dance set at the end - mixed live - that had everyone asking for his business card. One of my friends joked that she was going to get married "so I can have your DJ." Second, the execution was a product of DJK's meticulous preparation. I was extremely picky about the music, and he spent an incredible amount of time with me, just working through possibilities for various parts of the night. He also provided me guidance when I didn't know exactly what to do. For example, I really needed some help in figuring out how to get my Chinese in-laws and their ballroom-dance friends on the dance floor for a Horah. DJK figured out the exact sequence of music - peppered with a little explanation - for doing that. Third, DJK's level of professionalism is extraordinary. He emcees the event, and he knows EXACTLY what he's doing. We had a huge wedding party and didn't know how things were supposed to unfold before talking to DJK. I had thirteen groomsmen; we spent 20 minutes on the phone going over how to pronounce everybody's name. Everyone who spent any time with him remarked how pleasant he was, and how easily he accommodated requests and preferences. If we needed to audible to a plan B, then his only responses were suggestions for how to do it. DJK is a pro's pro.

My husband and I were just married this last weekend, and we can not say enough good things about the level of service that Con provided to our wedding! The music was fantastic, and he went out of his way to accommodate us, even downloading a song at the reception for us to hear! He totally paid attention to the like/ dislike lists that we had sent him in advance; was tasteful in his announcements, and kept the party going. In all if our dealings with him, he was extremely friendly and accommodating. We could not be happier. It truly was one of the best days of our life, and Con helped in making it so. Next party we have, he will totally be getting a call from us! We can not recommend him enough.

DJ Kahn helped us out of a bind, we had to fire our first DJ 2 weeks before the wedding. Not only was he attentive and quick to help and get all details sorted given the time constraint but he was extremely sensitive to our situation and offered to waive some of the financials associated with his contract. The night of the wedding, he followed everything we instructed and we heard all of our "must play" songs and didnt hear any "do not play" songs. Our guests were approaching us all night asking how they could get a playlist of the night's set list. The energy at our wedding was so high and we owe it all to DJ Kahn!

Constantine was the most attentive and on the ball wedding vendor we worked with. He always called me before I had to call him and was a BREEZE to work with. He granted every single request we made and put on a flawless performance. Guests were dancing that I've never seen dance before and my groom and I got down like it was nobodies business. He also played the music at our ceremony, do not hire harpists, use Kahn. I could not be happier with his services, he's not only an amazing DJ but a truly great person.

He was accommodating and attentive to our pre-wedding requests, including doing extra leg work to find specific songs that matched our requests and descriptions of how we wanted each portion of the evening to go. DJ Kahn provided a full service for our wedding, including ceremony microphones, cocktail hour music, and the full array of dancing and MCing during our reception. He was kind, courteous, personally invested, and attentive to our needs. He handled our large and diverse crowd of guests with politeness and respect while respecting our requests.

My wife and I hired DJ Kahn for our wedding just this past weekend. There isn't one bad thing I could say about him. From our first meeting until we shook hands after the reception we've had a great rapport. He was always well prepared for the meetings and responsive to our requests. Constantine showed up early to our venue on the day of, even though he travelled over 2 hours to get there. Everyone loved the music. He also mic'd up our officiant for the ceremony and he and I worked on placement of the speakers so they would be unobtrusive to photos. I tell you this because it shows you how flexible, considerate and professional he is. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for another event. Best wedding DJ ever. His mix for the cocktail hour was perfect. I asked for non cliched slow songs but since he knew I liked Hip-Hop he found a ton of old songs that rappers used for samples. It was fun to both enjoy the music and figure out which song used the sample. As for the dancing, he managed to put together such a perfect mix of music that everyone danced for 3 straight hours. It felt more like a dance party than a wedding, which was a good thing. Logistlically, DJ Kahn was great. He was extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. He was responsive even though he was away with his family on holiday the week before the wedding. He called us several times to make sure he had our vision for the wedding music correct. And he was up front when signing the contract, so there were no hidden fees or charges at the end of the night. I'd recommend DJ Kahn for any event. Weddings, dance parties you name it. He's great.

DJ Kahn was absolutely awesome! The entire reception ran extremely smoothly, and everything he played was perfect. Given that we are a relatively young couple that still likes a lot of hip-hop and rap music, I was unsure if that kind of stuff would fly at a wedding. But he far surpassed my expectations, I especially loved the jazz-like, mellow Wu-Tang instrumental he played at cocktail hour - its gotta be hard to play something that both me and my grandmother think sounds really good. And when it came to the dance music, every guest kept feeling like the next song was better than the last, and everyone couldn't get enough of it. This guy is a real pro, and I had numerous guests tell me it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and I give him a lot of the credit.

Well, the wedding was absolutely spectacular. I had the time of my life, even a little too much and I will never forget tearing up the dance floor. Constantine was an amazing DJ. Not even my work buddies and my boss could resist dancing. And when the schedule changed and I wanted to do the speeches earlier he took care of it. When my father wanted to party until 3am, he took care of it. I cannot even tell you how many compliments I have received for Constantine's work. I can tell you that I have been to many weddings and I have never seen the amount of dancing from every person regardless of age, relation to the bride/groom or culture than at my own wedding. The Rabbi told me it was the most epic horah of her life and I'm sure she's seen a few. If you do decide to book with DJ Kahn, I can assure you, you will not regret it.

DJ Kahn otherwise known as Constantine Ptohos was awesome! He was really excited about the music we wanted, he was amazingly organized so that we felt extra comfortable, he knows how to work the crowd and give a little for each generation at the party, he was super friendly to us as well as to the venue and all our friends and family. He also played music at a great volume, it wasn't too loud that the older folks complained, it wasn't too loud that you could hold a conversation, but it was loud enough to really get the party going!! He was great and coming from me who is extremely critical, that means a lot.

It's probably unusal to have the father of the bride to take time to comment, but DJ Kahn was exceptional. From his virst meeting with my daughter to the night of the reception, he maintained contact and was responsive to every request. He searched-out songs on her special request list (father/daughter, mother/son, cake cutting, etc) even finding songs by requested artists that they had never even published. Several guests have commented that they have never been to a wedding where everyone danced so much. The dance floor was full from the first dance to the end of the evening, through-out the meal, between every course. He seemed to sense the mood of the dancers and responded with just the right next song. I am very comfortable in recommending DJ Kahn. You should be comfortable in allowing him to set the pace of your event.

It was unanimous - the wedding was a huge hit with family and friends, young and old - due in large part to the talents of DJ Kahn. We had happy, sweating, dancing guests come up to us with such praise as "best dj EVER, where did you find him?!", "Epic wedding!", and "Can I get a copy of this playlist?!" Even those folks you don't expect to see on the dance floor couldn't help themselves - the truest sign of a successful party! A few weeks later, and people are still talking about what a great time they had, and still inquiring as to our awesome dj. From the very beginning, Constantine (along with 74 Events' Gary Hoffman) was sweet, personable, professional and organized. He offered gentle guidance and worked with us to customize our playlist and create the event we had in mind. By the time the big day rolled around, it was so great to arrive at the reception and see dj Kahn, knowing he had the reins. DJ Kahn proceeded to deliver a memorably fantastic, seamless evening - and hiring him became the best vendor decision we made in the entire wedding planning process. Kudos and thanks to DJ Kahn!!

Dj Kahn was great from start to finish. He was highly professional, accommodating, reliable, and most importantly, a kick- ass dj! Throughout the entire grueling process of planning a wedding, he was the one element that I didn't have to worry about. He put my husband and I at ease from our first meeting. Our wedding was a huge success thanks to the music. Everyone loved him, especially my dad's girlfriend who repeatedly declared, "Your dj was sick!" DJ Kahn (Constantine Ptohos) is a true professional. Throw away any negative preconceived ideas you might have about wedding DJs when considering his services. Kahn's knowledge of music is vast, his understanding of the nuances and demands of wedding DJ-ing is top notch, and his professionalism is what you'd expect from a true businessman. He is reliable, helpful, enthusiastic, extremely tasteful, very personable, and ready to help make your day perfect however he can. Our wedding was outdoors with a patio space and two connected indoor spaces, all of which required audio. He effortlessly made that happen. My wife and I are both musicians so our play list was maybe slightly more eclectic but this only inspired Kahn even more. In addition, I wrote and recorded all our ceremony music which he needed to cue during the ceremony while making some on-the-spot decisions regarding timing. His performance was exceptional and the entire event an absolute joy. I highly recommend DJ Kahn for your wedding music!

Where to begin? DJ Kahn was BY FAR the most professional, well-organized wedding vendor we worked with. If you're in the midst of planning a wedding I'm sure you know how aggravating it can be dealing with flaky unresponsive people. Kahn was the exact opposite. Aside from being exceptionally good at his job, he's also really pleasant to work with, sincerely into doing a great job, and his price was extremely reasonable. In addition to being great during the planning process, he more than delivered on the day of. He was there early, all set up, never missed a beat and everyone LOVED the music. My husband and I were thrilled with DJ Kahn's work for our wedding. The planning process with him couldn't have been smoother or more organized, and on the big day, he was on time, prepared and ready to go. Unlike those cheesy DJ's out there who talk too much, he made it about the music and getting people on the dance floor. He honored our requests, but also used our lists to brainstorm other artists and songs, and so the overall feel was exactly what we were looking for. Many of our guests told us they had never danced so much at a wedding, and the whole time, the floor was indeed quite packed!

DJ Kahn did an amazing job at our wedding. The dance floor was packed all night and both the young and the older people at our wedding commented on how great the music was. He was wonderful during the planning process, he very organized and helped us concentrate on important details. DJ Kahn did the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and all transitions were very smooth and there was plenty of time for dancing.

DJ Kahn is the real deal. His experience as a club DJ allows him to easily get people on the dance floor! We wanted a party, and he delivered! Kahn was thorough in the planning process and works with you to make it a truly unique event. People are still telling us it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to!

Having Constantine as my DJ was the best decision I ever made. He was very professional and listened to all of our needs and worked with my very eclectic taste in music. All requests were accomodated and he was great to work with. I can only wish people have this experience with their wedding DJ like I did. If I could do it all over again I would use Constantine without a doubt. Thanks for being a part of the best night of my life!

Constanine did a fantastic job DJ'ing (is that a word?) our wedding. Him and DJ Gazza (who handled the email correspondence and "business" end of things) were both very professional and made that portion of our wedding planning easy and stress free.

Constantine is the perfect DJ. He is the opposite of cheesy. Very cool, and will definitely keep your party moving. He really listened to our vision for the wedding and made sure that he provided exactly what we wanted. He understood what kind of music we were into and played awesome songs all night. We got so many requests for a wedding cd. We didn't want a corny DJ who talks the whole time and does lots of little games- so he just let the music speak for itself and was really lowkey. He introduced us, the toasts, etc. really well and transitioned seamlessly between the different events. He was very professional and has a great vibe. The wedding planner at the inn told me that Con is her very favorite of all the djs who come.

DJ Kahn is amazing! He was very professional throughout the entire process. Both DJ Kahn and Gaza took the time to help us coordinate our wedding better, and took great care when it came to the MC work. (checking name pronunciations etc) Con did a great job playing the type of music that we wanted throughout the whole evening, and was working so hard I don't even think he stopped to eat dinner! If I had another event where I needed a DJ I would definitely hire them.

You should definitely HIRE DJ KAHN!!! Our dance floor was completely packed the entire evening. He knows how to get a party started and absolutely delivered for us!! To be honest with you, my now husband, was ready to write DJ Kahn a check after our first meeting with Kahn. We were so impressed with his level of professionalism, which was outstanding throughout the entire process. After listening to DJ Kahn's sample CD's, we booked him immediately. We didn't even shop for a second choice. As for his musical selections, he really integrated the songs we requested and we trusted him to take it from there. We requested that he be chill for his MC duties; he was fantastic at announcing the events throughout the evening, but he didn't even need to encourage the crowd as there was a constant flow of dancing. I can't tell you how many phone calls we've received telling us that our wedding was the best they've ever been to and I know DJ Kahn is to thank for the incredible set he played.

Con made our wedding party ROCK! He also totally got the vibe we were going for, and although we provided him with "please play" and "do not play" lists, he definitely had the freedom to do his own thing and he totally rocked it. Leading up to the wedding, I (like any bride) was incredibly nervous about everything going off without a hitch, and put a lot of trust in Con. He played music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. About 3 hours about the wedding, I stopped worrying about everything, and all i know is this: he arrived EARLY, he set up easily, and he never bothered the bride! I think I saw him again and the very end of the night and gave him a huge hug for making our wedding incredible. I can't tell you how many people told us how awesome our music was, and have since asked for his information. I am HAPPY to recommend him! He is incredibly professional, responsive to all questions/calls/emails, and super organized. He covers all of his bases and you won't be sorry you hired him! Seriously, you should hire him.

We had a great experience with DJ Kahn. Totally reliable and professional, as well as easy-going and nice. He gave us lots of useful suggestions on how to structure the event, when to have slow or fast music, etc. He was also able to take our sample list of songs and turn it into an entire playlist that fit our taste. One of our biggest concerns was a DJ that would make cheesy announcements, and with Constantine we definitely had peace of mind that he wouldn't do that! He was priced very fairly as well.

Constantine was without a doubt my favorite vendor I worked with while planning my wedding. My husband and I are very much music people and had a specific vision of what we did (and did not) want to be played. Once we met with Con it was obvious we were in good hands. The dance floor was packed all night. Our wedding was in 2009 and we still hear comments about how fabulous our DJ was. In fact, two members of our bridal party booked him for their wedding not long after. That pretty much says it all. Book him and don't think twice - you won't regret it!

DJ Con was hands down the best vendor we hired for our wedding. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. He made our wedding!

Con was a amazing! Everyone commented on how wonderful the music was at our wedding. And everyone was dancing which is a sure sign! He was incredibly flexible and responsive in the weeks and moments leading up to the wedding. We had a last minute change from indoor to outdoor because of rain. Book Con!

Con did a wonderful job throughout our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. He played all the songs we wanted, and played songs he just knew we would like! He definitely got a sense of our music tastes. He is very talented. Our wedding had almost 300 guests! ...and there was no doubt Con knew what he was doing. We assumed all my husband's old relatives would never make their way on the dance floor. We were wrong......Con got most people on the dance floor at one point or another! My friend's mom recently commented that she has never seen so many people out on a dance floor throughout an entire wedding. Aside from talent, DJ Kahn made the entire planning process very easy for us and was our least stressful wedding vendor!

Con was absoulutely fabulous!! I could not have asked for a better DJ at my wedding. He was responsive to all of our requests, and was also able to work the crowd and figure out what music would work best to keep the dance party going. Seriously, we danced from start to finish!! And in NYC that's saying a lot... You're in amazing hands with Con. I was very picky in selecting a DJ, but cannot say enough good things about him.

Con was amazing. Professional, creative, responsive. He helped us with our cocktail hour and put together an amazing playlist. We had a very long party, and Con managed the flow expertly. He created a wonderful balance between "dinner music" and "dance music." Towards the end, people were starting to get tired and Con got everyone back onto the dance floor. He was able to play to a multi-generational crowd while avoiding cliched "wedding songs." Would highly recommend him.

Working with Kahn was a complete pleasure. I simply told him what I didn't want to hear at my wedding and he really took the reins from there. Many people at the wedding were extremely pleased with his music choices and they were under the impression that I had given Kahn a list of songs to play--but that wasn't the case. I can't recommend him enough, along with Gary Hoffman (DJ Gaza) who worked with my wife and I to coordinate us with Kahn. He kept the party moving and when it came to spontaneous moments--Con was ready with the music (the removal of the garter was not planned and Kahn adapted accordingly with no hassle). I don't know if I should mention this, but we had a certain "Last Song" requested and after it was played, Con played a few more songs after being insisted by my guests. And Con was more than happy to continue playing. He was simply amazing! THANK YOU, CON!

My husband and I were married in November 2010 and have to say that Kahn was amazing! Polite, funny, and just an amazing DJ. I danced at our wedding, and I *hate* dancing and didn't even want a DJ in the first place. He played everything from the Beastie Boys to Frank Sinatra to We are the World (all things we asked for!) and did it in a way that literally had everyone up their feet for hours. He was GREAT. Not to mention that he did our pre-ceremony music, ceremony (4 song changes!), recessional, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing--everything! And it was seamless. We also asked for help with some bizarre requests (interrupting the dancing for a 15-minute live rock band concert, and then later cutting off the music and starting a sing-along We are the World). And Kahn made it happen! Seriously, hire him and you will not have to worry about a single musical thing, I promise :)

I can honestly say that we had a great experience with Constantine as our DJ. We had initially contacted Gary, but as he was booked on our date, he suggested that we work with Con. Gary and Con both worked closely with us before the wedding, and they were probably our most organized and reliable vendor; our meetings were succinct and productive, they were extremely responsive on email, and they gave helpful input where appropriate while remaining very receptive to our own ideas. Regarding the day-of, many of our guests specifically told us how much they liked the music selection. My husband and I had given Con and Gary basic guidelines of what type of music we like, with a few specific songs we definitely wanted, and they took it from there. Con did a nice short set of upbeat dance music before dinner, some of our requested slow songs and others during parts of dinner, and then a great selection of old and new hip-hop and dance music from thereon out. Our dance floor was packed the entire time, even with people who don't normally dance. Several people went up to make music requests, which he handled very professionally; as we had discussed with Con beforehand, requests were fine with us as long as it wasn't something we had specified we didn't want played. We also had a mariachi band play for most of dinner, and Con did a great job of working with and around them to ensure seamless transitions between the types of music. Finally, one of our favorite things about Con was that we really didn't have to pay much attention to him throughout the night. He kept the music flowing and was very unobtrusive, only announcing the few things that we had specifically talked about. But if we did need to run up and ask him something, that was fine as well- he was very gracious, flexible, and accommodating. All in all, a very nice guy who did a great job for us. Of all the things we were anxious about during the wedding, Con and the music were not among them!

Con was fantastic to work with. We would absolutely recommend him to any of our friends. Multiple comments from our guests that this was the best wedding music they'd heard! Song choices were absolutely on-point with what we requested and the energy throughout the party was fantastic. Can't give enough credit how unobtrusive he was throughout the event. Announcements were made tastefully and quickly. You forgot he was even there (in a good way!). He played his role to perfection. Professionalism was great. He was completely on top of our event and helped coordinate with our day-of planner to make sure everything went smoothly. Only issue was minor in the end. We were trying to get him to stay an extra hour but due to another event the following day, he was unable to accomodate.

DJ Kahn was the DJ for our wedding reception. He did a great job interweaving very different styles of music (we had traditional music from my wife's country as well as our own individual tastes) and our dance floor was packed the entire time. He took our request list and riffed off of it, adding songs that were not on our list, but were actually songs I'd been thinking of (or wished I'd thought of!). Seriously: his instincts are absolutely uncanny. As a MC, he was pleasant, articulate and (most importantly for us as well) not cheesy or overpowering in any way. We were pretty adamant about this when we were looking for a DJ because we'd just been at a friend's wedding where the DJ basically made the reception all about him, which was pretty awful. Kahn hit the balance just right. Many of our guests repeatedly –both at the reception and in the months after– commented that the music was fantastic, that they've never danced so much at a wedding, and that Kahn was an amazing DJ for the occasion. I absolutely recommend Kahn as DJ for your wedding, or your next party.

We hired Kahn through 74Events after our first DJ canceled 2 weeks before the wedding- another story for another review. Kahn came highly recommended by 74Events owner Gary Hoffmann and we were thankful to find someone in our price range with availability on such short notice. On the day of the wedding, Kahn was punctual and handled the ceremony music flawlessly. However, things went downhill from there. First, he started playing our must play list during the cocktail hour which we had specifically requested he not do (we were busy taking pictures and missed many of our favorite songs). I'm pretty easy going and would have let that slide but from the start of the reception Kahn had a really hard time getting the party started and reading the crowd. His mixing skills were below average and the dance floor remained empty for most of the reception. Because it was such a nice day, people began congregating outside on the balcony. I asked Kahn if it would be possible to position a speaker so that we could hear the music outside. Kahn looked at me blankly and said no which completely infuriated me. To make matters worse when people were actually dancing, Kahn would cut off the song abruptly. Case in point- we picked Otis Redding's Try A Little Tenderness as our last song of the night. A great song with a great build up and a great way to end a wedding, right? Well everyone was on the dance floor enjoying themselves when Kahn cut off the song in the middle! Everyone stared at him with daggers in their eyes and he proceeded to begin packing up his equipment. If you're not desperate like we were, I'd recommend going with someone else. Kahn's got good taste and isn't your typical cheesy wedding DJ but he needs more experience.
