Out of all the decisions that go into making a wedding happen, you will definitely not regret deciding to use East Coast Band. They are flexible, versatile, and most importantly, extremely talented! I first heard them at my cousin's wedding over 5 years ago, and I never forgot how great they were. I knew that I had to use them for my wedding, and everyone raved to me about how fantastic they were. Even people who normally do not dance were out on the dance floor. East Coast Band will be by far the best band you ever hired and people will wonder where they came from. That's at least true for my wedding. None of my guest could believe how amazing they were and kept asking me where I found them. It was like a concert was being performed they are that good. I was very lucky. I happened to come across them in a google search for bands and I noticed they have an extensive playlist. I contacted Paul and lucky enough they had my wedding day available! Paul and his crew are very easy to work with and very responsive. After were booked them, my dad and I went to visit with Paul (as he was gracious enough to let us come to his house to meet him and speak with him about the wedding). As a bride who wants nothing but the best and has so many bands to choose from, this was very comforting. I had been in contact with Paul about what songs I would love to have played. He wrote back they will do their best (and ended up playing majority of the songs I picked) and he told me to trust him. I did and it sure paid off. If anything this review should be a testament to how perfect and amazing East Coast Band is as I never write these reviews. I can only hope that you can trust this review and pick East Coast Band for your next party/or wedding. Our friends and Family keep telling us they want just a backyard party and for us to hire East Coast Band again. Oh and did I mention that after the last song played for the night, all the guests cheered and chanted "ONE MORE SONG!" And they played! With East Coast Band you can't go wrong.

East Coast played at our wedding back in May, and they were beyond AMAZING! We had Paul playing the piano during our cocktail hour which was beautiful and many of our guests commented on how nice it was. During the reception every single guest, young and old, was on the dance floor. We didn't even have to specify a song list, the band knew what to play and kept everyone up on their feet! I can't even count how many people commented that this was the best band they'd ever heard play at a wedding. Paul was so great to work with, and made the whole process so easy for me. Easy Coast Band was very professional and accommodating. There were many many special requests I had for our wedding and they provided all our requests. They kept the night flowing and kept the dance floor full.

The East Coast Band was the best part of my Wedding. There was not one person that didn't compliment me on them. The band is ultimately the deciding factor between a good time and a bad time and EVERY single one of my guests had an amazing time dancing and singing along to them. They're great at what they do, read the crowd extremely well, they listen to what you want, and are just overall fantastic. You should definitely check them out when they do a gig in the NY area, but I promise you that you will NOT regret hiring them! Truly an amazing group of musicians who know how to have a good time!!!

If you are a musician, then this is the band for you! I come from a family of musicians, so finding a band was one of the most important part of planning my wedding day. My husband and I are both singers and I am a music teacher. East Coast was the only band we considered for our event and boy did they deliver!!!! With their tight harmonies and stellar vocals, my party was unreal! The band kept everyone, and I mean everyone, dancing the entire party! They were so easy to work with and my guests still tell me how AWESOME my band was! My friend got engaged a few weeks after my wedding and the first thing she asked me was for the band's number. East Coast was such a pleasure to work with for our March 2012 wedding. Even though they are based out of Long Island NY, they traveled over 2 hours to play at our wedding outside of Philadelphia PA! We saw them a few times in NYC after we booked them and before our wedding, and could not wait for our big day. Paul is super helpful and responsive and made sure to iron out all the pre-wedding day details with us, including ceremony and cocktail hour music. Lynda, the female lead and MC of the night was so friendly and reached out to us as well beforehand to create a timeline of music and how things would flow throughout the night. The band was amazing and had the dance floor packed the entire night. They play a wide range of music, so everyone no matter what age will have something to dance to throughout the night. My guests are still raving about East Coast (they do mash-ups!!), and I can't wait to go see them again when they play in NYC.

I highly recommend this band!! Everything was great - from planning with them before the wedding and especially the day of the wedding! We had Lynda as our MC and lead singer - she is great!! Sooo personable and energetic! The band had the entire dance floor packed from the begining of the night and sounded excellent. During our wedding so many people complimented me on what a great band we had chosen - people are still telling us how great the music was! I was so happy with this vendor - they will not disappoint and were worth every penny! My husband and I are looking forward to hearing them play at their other venues.

We were ecstatic with East Coast Music at our daughter's wedding September 4, 2011!!! Paul anticipated every need both at our conference before the wedding and at the wedding where he ran a spectacular event!!! The Band also provided great back-up for our friend's guest spot as drummer, making him feel so comfortable and happy. The dance floor was rocking!!! I highly recommend East Coast Band. The wedding was on August 2, 2011 during Hurricane Irene. Not only did they show up, but they made the wedding. In the midst of a wedding party gone wrong, they showed up prepared to do their best and did....They were the only part of the wedding we didn't have to worry about.

In all the weddings we’ve attended, we’ve never seen guests abandoned the first dinner course to dance. The band created such a lively, classy and pleasurable atmosphere that no one could stay sitting in his or her seat. The band members are so talented. It was amazing how they were able to play such a wide variety of music, from classical arrangements during the ceremony to jazz during the cocktail hour and then to classic and modern tunes during the reception. We were so happy with their choice of music. It was always tasteful and moreover, left piles of shoes along the edges of the dance floor. Music was very important to us and they exceeded our expectations in helping to create the atmosphere we desired for our wedding. The East Coast Band brought an element of style and elegance to our wedding that no disc jockey could ever have done. One of the best decisions we made was choosing this band for our wedding and by far was the most entertaining and enjoyable aspect of the night.

My close friend used East Coast for her wedding in 8/2008, I LOVED them! I was so dissappointed I couldn't get them for my wedding because they were booked, but I figured I would still write a review on how great they were. They had the whole wedding dancing, LOVED them!

The perfect band for your reception is definitely East Coast. In addition to all the traditional wedding songs, they mix in every song that you and your guests want to hear. They even learned songs with a Latin beat to make Carmen's family feel at home. Wait till you get your proofs back. Our photographer really captured the energy of the band and their passion. If you are a bride and groom that like to dance and want to give your friends and family an evening they wont soon forget East Coast will deliver. Great dance band; plays variety of musical genres.

This band was the one thing that my husband and i decided was the most important at our wedding. East Coast Band made our wedding what it was! We could not have received more compliments from our family and friends on the band. The dance floor was never empty and we had a blast because of them. I felt like the lead singer was my sister or a close friend. I felt like they really knew our personalities and brought them out in the music they played. One year later and people are still commenting on our wedding because of the music!!!! Best decision to go with East Coast Music......

My wife and I hired East Coast Band for our wedding this past February. We were completely blown away by their quality, professionalism, talent, and sheer fun-factor. We worked with Paul to schedule everything and he was fantastic. Not only a really good guy, but also very honest and professional about setting expectations and working with us on the details. The band played our ceremony and cocktail hour in addition to the reception. We extended the entire wedding by one hour, and the group was right there with great energy all night. We worked with Paul to set the music lineup for each part of the event. He gave us their song sheet, which is very extensive, but also dusted off a handful of other options we requested. Everything sounded fantastic. If you're thinking of them for your ceremony, have no fear. They played a very tasteful guitar and a piano combo, which was really appropriate. They had a sax and guitar for cocktails and that also went off perfectly. An important element here is that East Coast knew our venue (Bourne Mansion), and was able to set up and break down their equipment quickly and effeciently as necessary. As to the band's performance, we cannot say enough. My wife and I consider East Coast to be the gold standard for wedding bands, and would recommend them without question to anyone looking for a top notch group. We've been to many weddings in addition to our own, and no other event's music has come remotely close. And I'm not just saying that because it was our own big day. The most telling piece of evidence we have was provided by our guests. Numerous married couples came up to us, raving about East Coast, wishing they could get married again just so they could hire this band. Lots of our guests told us they hadn't been to a wedding where everyone was up to dance so quickly. I've read that remark in other reviews here, and it is absolutely the case. For my husband and I music was one of the most important items that had to be the best for our wedding. The moment i heard this classy but yet modern band play I knew right then and there that I HAD TO HAVE THEM at my wedding!!!! I have never heard a band that played every song requested to the note and beyond-THE EAST COAST BAND IS A MUST HAVE AT YOUR WEDDING!!! My 92 yearold grandmother got up and danced and raved about the music. Each band member is professional but yet an entertainer and fun to watch-ONCE AGAIN A MUST HAVE!!!!!! 5.0 is to low to rate them I would give them a 10!!!!

They were outstanding and our guests always mention the band first when asked what they liked most about my daughter's wedding. They can play an array of musical genres and they possess the unique ability to adapt their song list to the 'mood' of the crowd. I would recommend them without question

The East Coast Band was AMAZING!!!! Our friends and family commented that they had never heard such a great wedding band (and my family is picky!)! They learned the few songs we wanted them to learn (but were also ok with playing our wedding song via an iPod, which was important to us). They weren't always fabulous with responding to e-mail / calls far out, but once we got closer to the wedding, they did get better with timeliness. My only concern for the day, was they were late for our wedding. (In their defense, there were major traffic issues for the day, but still...) Luckily, it didn't affect us too much, as we had separate cocktail hour entertainment, but it was enough to make me sweat a little. Once they arrived, though, they were there and incredible! Lynda was AMAZING... her voice was incredible. We were sooooo impressed - they sounded like the real singers of our favorite songs. One of my favorite memories is the ENTIRE dance floor covered with friends and family dancing to Bon Jovi. Awesome!!!!

East Coast played at my wedding in July 2010 and they were exceptional! I received countless complements during and after the wedding about how great the band was. Our dance floor was packed from their first song to their last, and we got some great pictures out of it! Of course, what the guests don't see is the pre-planning madness that every bride endures. East Coast were so easy to work with during that time. Whenever I had questions or concerns, I always felt comfortable calling up the band manager and talking with him. And, I always hung up the phone feeling like I was listened to, like I got something out of it and I wasn't an annoying bridezilla. If you are considering East Coast, I strongly recommend going to see them play at a non-wedding gig. After seeing them play, I was 100% convinced that they were the right group to go with. Before I went I was deciding between a DJ and a band. I had seen a few bands and I wasn't convinced that the extra cost was worth it. After seeing East Coast, I realized that the other bands I saw were not worth it, but East Coast definitely was.

An outstanding experience from start to finish! East Coast Band came highly recommended. They have played corporate holiday parties for my company and have played at the weddings of numerous colleagues, so our expectations were definitely high. Paul and company exceeded them! We had a very definite vision and East Coast made it happen. Guests who had to leave early were bemoaning the fact that they couldn't stay longer and enjoy our fabulous band. Five months after our wedding, people are still telling us how great the band was. Paul was a pleasure to work with and was always extremely responsive. We asked for a lot, and it all came together beautifully. If I had to do it all over again, I would start by hiring East Coast.

East Coast is a GREAT band. They play everything from oldies, classics, 80's, 90's and current hits....I hired them to play for my wedding- I had numerous people come up to me the night of and the morning after to tell me how great the band was. They got everyone involved, from children to my grandmother, everyone was on the dance floor for at least some of the night...HIGHLY recommended

My two cousins used this band at their weddings and from the moment I heard them I new I wanted them at my wedding someday. Fast forward almost 10 years later..... They played at my wedding in July and were awesome! We were up on the dance floor the whole reception. I think music is an important part of a wedding, if you agree with this then hire East Coast. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. They are very talented and versatile musicians with a huge repertoire of songs. I absolutely had no complaint. They were just so great. We received such a great deal. They were so flexible, as they let my brother play a sax and my father sing for our 1st dance. Every guest danced all night. The music was incredible!!
