Beautiful! She created custom invitations that matched our Christmas/winter wedding perfectly. Only thing to know is that invitations are not printed in permanent ink... they will bleed if they get wet. But so amazing!!

My wedding was June 2, 2012 in Boston. I debated for a long time with a theme until I decided on a city theme. I can not say enough about the design Tessa envisioned. It was better than anything I could have thought up. I have received so many compliments on the invitation it's amazing!! Tessa really focuses on the details. Along with the invitations she did my seating chart which was a captains board and the Table names. The tables were named after different locations in Boston. Tessa took the time to search for pictures that would accompany each location on the sign. I cried when I opened the package and saw it!! My brother and his Fiancee demanded Tessa's info when they saw everything she had done. I ordered pocketfold invitations for my wedding from Tessa and they were GORGEOUS!! She sometimes has a long waiting list, but she is well worth the wait so definitely start early with her on the design process! Her price was within my budget and Tessa was able to nail my theme perfectly with her first design she sent to me!! I also ended up ordering my placecards, favor tags and menus from Tessa so everything matched and they looked perfect for my big day! I am still getting questions back on who did my invitations because my friends want to get them from her!!

I ordered my wedding invitations from Evenstar Paperie, and they came out absolutely beautiful. They were so beautiful, and unlike any other invitations that I had ever recieved. My only complaints, are that about 30 of my invites had bent corners upon delievery, and that my husbands last name was spelt wrong on the RSVP envelope.

For my October 2011 wedding I was dealing personally with Tessa. She was patient and knew what designs and embellishments looked great together. The quality of the wedding invitation was impeccable. I loved working with Tessa. I initially didn't plan to do anything special for invitations, but once I saw her work I had to work with her. The design process was very easy and Tessa made multiple mock ups until I was happy. Designing the invitations actually set the tone for my entire wedding design. Tessa’s work really got me to love wedding invites. Before booking her, I really didn’t care about what kind of invitations I had. I booked with her because I really didn’t want to bother with designing or wording any invitation. Our invitations were the talk of the town and family. One of my friends is getting married and she was telling me that she was not really into invitations for her wedding until she saw ours! We got pocket folds and they were everything we wanted and then some. I gave her a 4 for responsiceness because after I got my invitations I wrote her a thank you e-mail and then I wanted to know about table numbers and she never got got back to me. I loved my invitations and they were designed pretty quickly even with all my changes. Everyone commented on how they were the nicest invitations they had ever received. I was very happy with them but when it came to getting my stationary done I was very unhappy with the whole process. I needed them a few days before my wedding and didn't get it until the night before I had to drop everything off. This was a major inconvenience and had it been done sooner like I asked this could have been avoided. I guess stationary isn't a priority since there are so many other invitations to be done. I was very honest in my initial email to Tessa – I told her exactly what I wanted but that I was on a strict budget, but still wanted them to look AMAZING. Within a month or so of contacting Tessa I got a mock up – and I loved it immediately. It was as though she completely read my mind. I have to admit I was still nervous about the price (which she sends you when she mails you a proof) – I was scared it was going to be way over my budget since the invitations were so awesome. When I got the proof and contract in the mail I was floored – her price was so much lower than I thought it would be given the quality of the invite. She was so easy to work with and she really knows her stuff. I have gotten so many compliments on the invites and I couldn’t have been happier!

I swear I must have driven her crazy with my revisions at the end for my final edit but she never got annoyed with me but instead sent me proofs back so quickly. She was such a sweetheart when my proof got lost in the mail too, she sent another within a day! When I received my invitations, some of them came with bent corners from Fedex banging the box around. I emailed her frantic trying to figure out how to fix it and how to submit a damage claim to Fedex with only 1 month until I was supposed to send them out. Tessa was nice enough to offer to re-make the bent invitations without even being reimbursed from Fedex for the damages. I thought this really showed how much she cares about her brides and wants to make them happy. She really went out of her way for me. I would recommend her to anyone! I also liked that she suggested things to lower the cost of my invites (like assembling the inserts and ribbon myself, which I decided that I was too lazy to do and was afraid I would mess it up) but she really cares about her clients and wants you to be able to save. I received so many compliments on my invitations, saying they were the nicest they had ever seen!

I was a bit nervous working with someone I would never meet in person; however all fears were completly calmed because Evenstar is so responsive and they bring you along for the ride every step of the way. Everyone loved, loved our invitations and said they were so unique. You are dealing with representatives from a company, you deal with Tessa first hand and that's what makes the process go so smoothly. At first I wanted to just print my own invitations, you know - save money. But when I found out about Tessa, I knew I had to atleast get a quote and sample from her. I did and I was blown away by my sample invitation. The quality of the work is fantastic! I am so happy I chose to go with an invitation that matched my theme, rather than some random, plain invite. There was a tiny mistake on my return envelopes, and without question or haste, Tessa fixed the mistake and had the corrected envelopes shipped right to me. Tessa is a delightful person to work with - even though she is thousands of miles away from me. Tessa and Evenstar Paperie absolutely set the tone for our wedding! My husband and I wanted silk boxed invitations - something that Tessa had never created before - and OMG did she deliver! She found the silk boxes all the way in Thailand and made our $45 invitations a reality - at a fraction of the price! Our wedding was three months ago; however people are still RAVING about our invitations. Future brides constantly compare our invitations to theirs. While initially it was difficult to get timely responses, once we were into the process, Tessa always retrned my emails promply, often several times per day and at late hours. In the end, my invitations came out better than I even envisioned. I can be a tough cstomer, but Tessa always remained positive and professional throughtout, often coming up with extremely creative and outside the box ideas for making everything work out exactly the way I wanted it. I came across Tessa from 4 other friends that were using her. Our customized invitations were gorgeous. Our guests were amazed! Tessa was great to work with and usually answered any questions I had in a matter of minutes. I was a bit nervous at first considering she is located on the other side of the country and everything would be done via email but she was one of the best vendors I've dealt with. She's so nice, her work is beautiful, and she does what she can to work within your budget. She's super popular so get on her list early!! She also did our menus, table #'s, and placecards, all which matched the design on our invitations. I couldn't have been happier!

Evenstar Paperie is, unquestionably, one of our favorite vendors. Tessa has felt more like a friend than a vendor to us. She is a household name and a wonderful person to work with. Even my dad, who is a tough critic, has made many comments about her old fashioned business sense. "They don't make them like that anymore," he once said. Tessa created our invitations during a VERY busy time for her. Her business exploded and she experienced a rapid growth of the number of clients she has. There have been some growing pains along the way, but she always does her best to be fair throughout the process. For example, when we first signed up as her clients she would respond to emails within hours. Towards the end, she streamlined this process with status updates on her blog that we should have checked before emailing. The other growing pain was the struggle to complete projects by their deadlines while she was receiving more and more customers along the way. She now set up a strict outline of the process you go through and completes job based upon the date of your wedding. It makes perfect sense from a business standpoint, but as an anxious bride-to-be it is sometimes hard to be patient. She is totally worth the wait. That said, she had delivered to every client and has NEVER missed a deadline. We adored our invitations, place cards and table numbers. My husband adored our invitations- and he isn't usually into all those little details. He bragged about Tessa's work to everyone, as did I. One of my bridesmaids carried around our invitation in her purse to show people how beautiful it was. It was unique, personal, and so us. It was the theme to our wedding. We can't say enough about the quality of her work. Even when we disliked the wrap around address labels we had chosen, Tessa sent us a whole new set of envelopes. She strives to keep her customers happy. It is my sincere hope that this business continues to grow and to be rewarding to her and to her future brides.

Tessa from Evenstar Paperie was a pleasure to work with. She was able to capture exactly what I was looking for in my invitation. Whenever I had a question or concern, she always had a quick response time. She was professional, yet I felt as if I was talking to a friend every time we conversed. She is a very down to earth person, who will bend over backwards to please her customers. Although the cost of her invitations are pricey, she is worth every penny.

I was very happy about having Tessa from Evenstarpaperie making the invitation for my wedding. She has great artistic vision, and is able to make a design custom-made for the client's style. Although I wasn't sure exactly what my style was, I pointed out one of her existing designs to her that I liked, and she was able to personalize it for me. A lot of our guests commented on our elegant and unique invitations. They said that our invitations stood out from what they've seen previously, and were very memorable. This was one of the easiest vendors to work with, and considering it was a 3000 mile distance, Tessa made things so easy! She was prompt with her responses, she stayed well within my budget and when I needed to make last minute changes, it didn't turn into a major production. My invitations, programs, menus and table numbers were absolutely beautiful, everything I could have wanted and more, and I can't thank her enough for making these little touches such a beautiful reminder and keepsake of our big day!!!!!!!

I worked with Tessa at a time when she had a lot of events all at once and I never felt like I was just a number. She put effort into helping me design my invitations, captured precisely what I was looking for even though I myself couldn't put it into words, and added touches that made my invitations perfect. Everyone complimented them, and they were so reasonably priced. I felt very special sending them out, and my guests felt special receiving them, and everyone thought I spent a fortune! I give Tessa high marks, but I would say book her well in advance because she is very busy and this way if you have changes or need extras, you're not short on time, which can be a problem.

As a type A personality and a bit of an organized freak, I was worried about who I could trust to handle my wedding invitations. Tessa not only exceeded my expectations, but I decided after the invitations to have her handle all our wedding stationary. This included gift tags, place cards, menus, seating charts, etc.. Her patience, her talent as a designer, as well as her personality made her a pleasure to work with. She is super flexible, and open to suggestions, and she has an eye for design. She made our image of a vintage NY wedding come true with our colors. I still receive compliments until today on our invitations which were so classy and stylish. I was also so impressed that she was able to turn everything around for us when she was getting married at the same time. So while she was handling her own wedding she was still willing and able to make items for my wedding. I have nothing but amazing things to say, and would happy to recommend her to anyone!
