As a bridesmaid in a close friend's wedding I had the privilege of working with Event Designs by Rick! As my friend's day-of coordinator, Rick made sure everything ran smoothly from breakfast, hair & make-up, and maintaining the timeline to finalizing all the last minute details as we prepared for the ceremony. After the ceremony, at the reception, Rick's touch was evident throughout the event (beautiful decorations, menus, programs, favors, etc.) I would highly recommend Rick to every bride! As a bridesmaid, in an intimate wedding that was so dear to our families and friends, I can honestly say that it wouldn't have been as memorable, beautiful, or according to plan with out Event Designs By Rick. Rick himself was there for the bride and groom from beginning to end in the short period of time they had to plan it. From the invitations, to the venue, right through to fixing the bride's dress during pictures, Rick's attention to detail was evident and appreciated. No one had to worry about scheduling, payments or direct interaction with vendors because Rick had already taken care of it. If you are looking for someone who will go out of their way to make your day special, HIRE RICK! I cannot say enough good things about him. Honestly, I planned pretty well and knew my day would be organized. But Rick made it extraordinary. It's been nearly four years since we first met, as I was visiting the wedding venue for a tasting and planning. Instantly, we clicked. He had ideas that enhanced my ideas. He had suggestions for how to keep the budget under control. He was professional and enthusiastic, and I was looking forward to working with him. Some of my wedding party got lost and didn't make it to the rehearsal venue until after everyone was gone. However, Rick took time to explain the program and gave them a mini-tour. After more than three years since the wedding, my father still asks about "that nice young fella who was so helpful." On the day of my wedding, he and his staff were outstanding. He assigned someone to assist me the entire day/evening. Although I didn't think that would be necessary, it proved invaluable. He designed the cake table arrangement. He made sure the broccoli rabe supply was more than adequate for our family and friends (a special request from my husband). The list goes on! It was like he was 10 different, highly-effective people all rolled into one. Everyone loved working with him. Needless to say, I could not have been more pleased. Every bride should have someone like Rick to work with. I wish him every success in the future, and will call him for my next big event.
