We used Green Kangaroo to order our wedding invitations. Overall we were very happy with the end product of the invitations themselves and the RSVP cards. They have a wide selection to choose from and many options to mix and match. The packaged the invitations very well and the delivery came on time. We had 2 issues with them that kept us from giving 5 stars. First, upon receiving our invitations about 50% of our outside envelopes came with a black smudge mark on them. Normally, we would have asked for more envelopes to be sent but we were in a rush to get them out and didn’t have the time. They offered us a rebate on part of the order when we let them know. Thankfully, the invitation themselves came out beautifully, which is the part most people are paying attention to.
Second, we were frustrated at times in the communication aspect of things. Their website was not nearly as customizable or user friendly as some others (I think they may have made some updates since we ordered our invites) and it wasn’t obvious until we got to the customization part of our order. We really loved the invite design so we didn’t want to go elsewhere. Additionally, they carry east coast business hours and are not available on the weekends making it a challenge as we live on the west coast. Most communication is done via email which is ok for some things, but it’s much easier to discuss design ideas over the phone. They allow 1 free proof and so we wanted to do our best to get it right the 1st time. I will say that when I did call and get a hold of someone there were very friendly and helpful. Also, when we ended up needed to make just a font change, they were nice about it and didn’t charge us for an additional “proof”.
Overall, I would still recommend them and possibly use them again. I felt the price after the discounts was reasonable, but would not have felt the same paying full price.

First and foremost, it is unfortunate that this customer's envelopes arrived with some smudging on them. We were quite sorry to hear about this issue. If anything is ever wrong with an order, we are more than happy to correct the problem as quickly as possible. Had we been given the opportunity, we would have absolutely replaced these envelopes - without question.
Secondly - with respect to the communication aspect of this order and our website - we do carry weekday Eastern Standard Time business hours, but we make an effort to be as available to our customers as possible. We apologize if we are ever difficult to reach. We are a small company. While we maintain an online presence and serve a nationwide customer base, we do not have the same resources that many of our online competitors have. They may employ hundreds of people, and we, quite frankly, do not. We are so thankful for our customers - customers who "shop small", support and appreciate small businesses like The Green Kangaroo.
Lastly - We offer unique designs and competitive pricing. Our price points have been set for many practiced reasons and we feel that they are quite reasonable. Our products all come with 2 complimentary proofs sets, though we are generally flexible and happy to work with our customers regarding their revisions. In the end, we do understand that times are tough and we offer a variety of promotions and fun, easy ways to save.
