What a phenomenal job the DANE WRIGHT BAND did for our wedding!!! I had people saying ok where's the plug? There is no way they are this good! Lol! From the time they started to the time they finished it was AMAZING! The interaction with us and guests, to playing every song we wanted! We hired the Frank Michaels Band within Hank Lane, and they were absolutely incredible! Frank, Devon and Stephanie were electric and got along so well with the crowd, they felt like guests at the wedding! The did a Rihanna set, which basically made my night, but also snuck in classic motown hits that kep everyone on the dancefloor all night. We worked with Spencer to identify which band made sense for our size and style - and he nailed it. Highly recommend!

Pete Saunders was THE BEST! He and his band made or night so special. They made a special effort to know what kind of music we liked, and didn't like, but more importantly read the crowd. They were a real band, not your typical wedding band. Very polished professional. Another important thing to know is they have a great "emergency plan" which most bands didn't have and couldn't offer. Hank Lane represents a handful of bands, but never book all of them on a given weekend. That way, if someone is ill or can't make your event for any reason, they have at least one full band of musicians available to fill in! Genius, and again, not something most bands have a plan or, at least not a good one. People are still talking about the band at our wedding. They are on the pricy side, but this is one case where you really do get what you pay for! It's worth the money if you have it, and if you don't have it, find it! They are 100% worth it.

Michael Hart Band Hank Lane was absolutely incredible. They kept the partying going. All of our guests were so impressed by their talent!

Kevin Osborne's band was INCREDIBLE. They had the crowd dancing the entire night and helped to make this the most special night. The read the crowd and did an amazing job of picking songs without much direction. THANK YOU!!!!

The Ernest Mills Band made our wedding!! I can't say enough positive things about them. Our experience with Hank Lane from start to finish was absolutely amazing. From the minute we met Justin to the last song that Ernest sang and every moment in between, we were 100% satisfied. Our dance floor was packed the entire time. It has been two weeks and our friends are still raving about the band... My uncle even decided he wants them to play at his 60th birthday party (he's only 57 years old). If Ernest happens to be booked the night of your event, schedule a meeting anyway to discuss the other bands Hank Lane has to offer. It was the best decision we made!

We just returned from our amazing honeymoon in Costa Rica and the first thing I wanted to do was to leave AMAZING feedback for Spencer Kaufman, Steve Delisi, and his AMAZING band. We are still in awe talking about how phenomenal they were. Upon seeing our reception space all set up prior to our ceremony, we were pleasantly surprised at how large our dance floor was...HOWEVER, the dance floor was PACKED the entire night. The Steve Delisi Band was PHENOMENAL. We have gotten consistent, positive feedback on how amazing all of the members of the band were and could not believe what we were hearing. Their renditions of their entire set list was spot on, and some of our friends who swear by DJs at weddings were blown away by how great the Steve Delisi Band sounded. We had an amazing time and our feet and voices were soar for days after! Thanks so much for making our wedding day unforgettable and we hope to see the Steve Delisi Band at some of our friends' future weddings soon!!

Ernest Mills and his crew were seriously the best band that I have ever seen play to a wedding. No one sat down the entire night, except to eat, and even then people were itching to get back up. My guests were chanting "one more song" like they were at a concert at the end of the night because they didn't want the party to end. Also, Ian and the Hank Lane staff were really helpful when I was choosing all of my ceremony and first dance songs. They are really experienced, and although they let you choose what you want for yourself, they also know what works and what doesn't work and I was grateful for their advice.

From the second I saw a Hank Lane band, 5 years prior to my wedding, I knew that I needed to hire one of them for my wedding. Fast forward a few years and my husband and I met with Harlan in the NYC office. We hired Erik Marshall for our wedding and his band was absolutely amazing! The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone told us that they had the best time dancing at our wedding.

The Steve Delisi Band is the single best way to ensure your event is a smashing success, your guests have the time of the lives, and your wedding is one to remember. This band will knock your socks off. Our dance floor was packed, we had the time of our lives, and our guests are raving about them nonstop. Some of our guests (parents' friends in their 50-60s) were standing on chairs to see the excitement. Some described it as, "better than any concert." Budget for this band first and then work everything else around it- you won't be disappointed. Worth every penny.

We used the Hank Lane band "Soho Rhythm" for all the music at our reception on October 6, although Hank Lane also offers DJs as well. They say "you get what you pay for", and while Hank Lane likely won't be the cheapest source of music for your reception, it will be top quality: their stable of highly qualified musicians produces a great sound, and people were up and dancing at our reception all night (which was exactly what we were going for). They also honored a few special request songs that we wanted to play at the end of the night and, more notably, made an exception for us and allowed us to add a musician from outside the band to join them to sing and play guitar for a very special first dance song. They were professional and helpful in scheduling an initial meeting to discuss our taste in music and determine which band would be right for our wedding. They also checked in with us 2 weeks prior to the date in order to make sure we were on the same page with the music selection. The bottom line is this: we felt that music for the reception was such an important element of our wedding that we were willing to pay the premium for a Hank Lane band and we were not dissappointed. The band was awesome and everybody went nuts on the dance floor. What more could you ask for? Thanks Hank Lane.

We used Hank Lane's Rhythm Nights for our wedding on October 6th and we could not have been happier! They did a fantastic job and always had the dance floor packed. We have been to more than a few weddings where the floor is empty, but Rhythm Nights read the crowd and always gave them what they wanted. My husband and I were very picky. We hate when bands have that cheesy wedding band knockoff sound, but Rhythm Nights sounded EXCELLENT. I highly recommend them to anyone looking. I cannot tell you how many compliments we got regarding the band. Several people even wanted their number!

Steve Delisi and his band are absolutely incredible and helped make our wedding such a fun and memorable experience. From the moment we were introduced, they had the entire dance floor packed throughout the whole evening. To this day our friends and family are still commenting how much fun they had at our wedding because of the band. Besides playing a variety of amazing music, Steve and his team were extremely professional to work with throughout the process. We can't thank them enough and would highly, highly recommend them to anyone else looking for a wedding band.

We used the Ernest Mills band for our wedding on 9/29 at The Horticulture Center in Philadelphia. The band was incredible and helped shape an epic evening. My husband and I are huge live music fans and have seen hundreds of concerts, and Ernest and his band put on one of the best live shows we've ever seen! Ernest killed it. The guitarist killed it. The bassist killed it. The horns section killed it. The keyboard player killed it. The drummer killed it. All of the vocalists killed it. It was a killer party and not only was the dance floor never empty, it was jam packed for the entire night! The whole band was having a blast all night long and played exactly what the crowd wanted to hear. There were so many moments when my husband and I looked at each other and exclaimed "we win!", especially when the band would drop into a song we specifically requested. We really appreciate the professionalism that was displayed throughout the entire booking and planning process. Our initial contact was Spencer, and our finals contact was Mike, both were very responsive, patient, and understood our vision. We wish we could do it all over again. Ernest and his band are amazing and exceeded all expectations....which were very high! By far the best wedding band we've ever seen or boogied down to. If you want to ensure yourself a rocking party...book the Ernest Mills band!

Overall, great experience. They book lots and lots of bands in NY, so if you're looking for undivided attention, this isn't your place. But given they book so many bands, they know what they're doing. We had the Rainbow Room Orchestra and people are still taking about them.....they nailed everything from Steely Dan to Donna Summer to Michael Jackson to Bruno Mars!

We hired the Russ Bennett Band for our Sep. 8, 2012, wedding near Hackensack, NJ. We were lucky enough to get a sneak preview of them playing at a wedding we attended in Rhinebeck, NY, a year ago and we knew instantly that we wanted them to play at our wedding. These guys play a wide range of music from 40s swing to current Top 40 hits and they will have all of your guests out on the dance floor the entire night. Their talent and energy are a real crowd pleaser. During our wedding reception, a severe thunderstorm knocked out power to the country club for a couple of hours. We lit hundreds of candles and the band played "unplugged" on guitar, sax, and even wheeled in a grand piano from another room and played until the power came back on. It was great and definitely made our wedding day even more memorable! Everyone was dancing and singing along throughout the reception and told us that we picked the best band they ever heard at a wedding. The Russ Bennett Band is simply amazing and we highly recommend them to everyone!

THE BEST! We got calls and emails about how incredible our band (Riverside Drive) was for weeks! They were so great to work with and always checked in to make sure that everything was perfect before our big day.

My daughter got married yesterday Sept. 1, 2012. The band's music volume was so loud that I could not stay in the room. Many of my guest also had to leave the room. I spoke to the band leader and requested that the amplification be turned down so that my guests would not be so umcomfortable. His response was to say NO. The caterer also tried numerous times to speak with the band leader to no avail. So even though it was my daughter's wedding, I had to spend most of the time outside of that hall. I would never recommend a Hank Lane band ever to anyone. I guess that is the reason they require that you have to pay in advance for the entire evening. The band could not care less. Also, I had paid extra for two additional people, so I had a ten piece band. So instead of having a full sound of music, I just had loud noise. Be careful. My son got married three years ago. We used an unknown band who were great and much less expense. Hank Lane, never, never again.

Hank Lane- Ernest Mills Band did an amazing job for our wedding a few weeks ago! They were really professional, fun, and had such great voices! We hired Marcus Reid form Hank Lane. My friends are still talking about how amazing the band was at our wedding. it was such a rockin night. My husband Billy and i are trying to come up with a reason for another party, just so we can hear Marcus and the band play again. They played absolutely everything we could ask for. My guests were seriously amazed by this band. all the current pop dance hits from today, 80's party rock hits, motown classics, you name it they played it. They sounded just like the actual songs. The energy was so high and the entertainment was so incredible the entire night. No one left the dance floor. No one at the party wanted to leave. The chants of "one more song" did not stop at the end of the night. And they did play one more song, actually 2 more!

The Park Avenue band was UNBELIEVABLE!!! It was a pleasure to work with the staff at Hank Lane. Everyone we worked with was professional and courteous. We especially want to thank Justin from Hank Lane for help choosing this band for us. When we first heard the band play our song, “If I Ain’t Got You”, my husband and I just knew they were the one. All our guests at my wedding said it was one of the best weddings they’ve been to. Our guests were stunned on how amazing the band was. I remember seeing their jaws drop when they heard the first song play. We chose a wide genre of songs and each song was performed remarkably.

We were lucky enough to work with the Frank Michaels band for our wedding, and I can't say enough great things about them. Our wedding was over a month ago and we're still receiving compliments from guests. Their range is incredible in terms of their music, and they were very flexible, worked with our preferences, and respected our requests to avoid some songs (despite bothersome guests trying to convince them otherwise). I truly cannot recommend these guys highly enough - they're as professional as you can get and truly best in class.

We heard so many reviews of how good Hank Lane and were a little disappointed in the dj they selected for our wedding. Prior the wedding they spoke to us on the phone about our selection of music. I clearly explained exactly what I wanted and had to keep going up to the dj throughout the evening to remind him of certain songs that I wanted played. He also had the music turned loud and I clearly told them that I didn't want guests to be talking over the music. Also he did some annoying remix thing in between songs that sounded awful. The trio we had was ok. Felt like they were even noticed and we couldn't even recognize our wedding song when they sang it.

The Russell Bennett Band of Hank Lane Music was phenomenal. My husband and I had an unbelievable time dancing the night away and received endless compliments about the music. While I think rocking out to "Proud Mary" and "Footloose" were my favorite dancing moments, the entire night of music was absolutely superb!

The Dane wright band from bank lane was absolutely amazing! I can't tell you how many people told us it was the best wedding band they have ever seen! They knew exactly how to get the crowd up ad moving and they could play everything and anything from the 70s music to Mumford and sons to country! The Artie Stewart band was BEYOND AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I had many many people at my wedding say that it was the best wedding they had ever been to, no, not because of me and my husband but because of the band. I had cousins from Ireland who also said this was the best wedding they had ever been too. They were professional, responsive, courteous, timely, worth every penny!!!! Artie knew exactly when to tone down the music and let people talk and when to amp up the music and to get everyone dancing. It was the perfect balance of music. It was to the point that I did not even notice them because there was such a strong balance of reading the crowd and knowing when to get loud and when to let everyone take a break. We used the Pete Saunders Band for our wedding and they were AMAZING! I knew about the reputation of Hank Lane bands and had asked about a couple specifically but they were already booked for our big day. Justin at Hank Lane, based on what we wanted and our budget, suggested Pete Saunders Band and I'm so glad he did! Since we didn't have a huge area of space (or a huge budget), we could only accomodate 6 pieces. The great thing about Pete's band is that many of the members play instruments AND sing so it felt like many more than 6 pieces. Also, Pete is the music librarian at Hank Lane and works on many of the arrangements. He's incredibly talented and knowledgeable so we had a feeling that we'd be in great hands. We had the pleasure of meeting with Pete in advance to discuss our music selections and generally what we wanted for the reception. He totally understood everything we were saying and made great suggestions. Pete played acoustic guitar for our ceremony and cocktail hour and he was fantastic. Then the full band rocked throughout our reception. They did an awesome job reading the crowd, playing a great selection for all ages and keeping the party going all day/night. A few of our guests asked for their card and many commented on how great they were. We couldn't have been more pleased and we are forever grateful to Pete, Justin and the entire Hank Lane family for making our day extra special.

We were thrilled with our choice to use the Russ Bennett Band with Hank Lane at our wedding on June 23, 2012! We had met with Ian and Russ at Hank Lane and they were great at helping us pick the band to fit our needs. We had a wide age range of guests at the wedding, from 18- 86, so we wanted to make sure that everyone enjoyed the music and could have a good time partying all night long. Russ Bennett band does NOT disappoint! Everyone was dancing the entire night! My grandma, in her 80s, even got loose on the dance floor. We had so many people ask us who our band was and tell us over and over again how great they were! Russ and his band played all our special songs and really knew how to keep the dance floor grooving whether to Earth, Wind and Fire or Rhianna. Russ helped us incorporate our engagement song into the ceremony (walking down the aisle) and he helped us pick non traditional ceremony songs for our bridal party that worked beautifully. Everyone at Hank Lane was responsive to emails and calls and so easy to work with. They helped us map out the timeline of the night and make sure that there was a good flow of eating and dancing. We have attended approximately 20 weddings over the past 3 years and Hank Lane was by far the best band we have seen. In fact, several of our family and friends have been raving about them since our wedding and confirmed that they are the best band they've seen perform. On day of, the band members were on time and needed little (if any) direction from us. Each band members' music ability was GREAT, but equally as impressive was their enthusiasm and energy for the entire night. The range of music they played was exactly what we wanted and they filled the room with energy for 4 straight hours. We had an amazing time at our wedding and Hank Lane Revue was a critical component of that. We sincerely recommend the band to anyone who wants to have a great wedding reception.

My husband and I are SO SO SO BEYOND over the moon happy that we chose Hank Lane, PETE SAUNDER'S BAND to play at our wedding at the Garrison on June 3, 2012. From the minute we met with Kim at Hank Lane's NYC offices we instantly clicked. Truth be told we were so nervous that we did NOT get to see the band live. As she assured us this was NOT necessary. Elliot, Jenna J, and Pete were beyond professional and SO TALENTED. The ceremony and cocktail music were perfection and they completely brought down the house during our reception. They were so interactive and totally played to the crowded. My guests just could not get enough of them!!!! Two months later, I am still getting phone calls about this band and how incredible they were. I do not anticipate that this will stop any time soon. They truly played their hearts out for us!!! If you want a wedding where the music is so good that no one wants to sit down because the music is just too good, this is the band for you.

Hank Lane runs like a machine. My band was the Ernest Mills band, and Ernest was fantastic. He really got the crowd going, but not in a cheesy way. Everyone was dancing the entire time. Everyone kept saying how great the music was. I think if nothing else went well in my wedding and this band was the only thing I had going for me, it would have been one of the most fun weddings ever.

We used Hank Lane for our wedding at the Central Park Boathouse -- our band was led by J. Lamont and it was fantastic. All our guests commented about how amazing our band was to be able to play the top 40 hits and the classics at the same level of expertise and energy. I was afraid our wedding was going to boring and everyone would be sitting at the dinner table looking at each other--but instead J. Lamont had everyone dancing at every interval. Obviously having the right band can make or break an event and there's no question that the Dane Wright Band went above and beyond in helping to make our wedding better than we could have ever imagined. Even though we had initially only seen videos of the band, we could tell they were going to be awesome. We were able to meet with Dane beforehand and we loved how much we were on the same page with respect to the type of music we wanted, the flow and timing of the evening, and overall vibe of the band. We liked that the band had been together for so long and grown up as friends and musicians -- you could tell they love what they do and it showed. Once the party got started, the band was non-stop high energy and they absolutely crushed it from start to finish. They really connected with the crowd and had everyone on the dance floor all night long … the saxophonist was even playing on the floor during Shout! We loved that they managed to integrate themselves among our guests both on the dance floor and around the tables. The volume level was great for young and old and they played an awesome mix of songs that appealed to generations young and old. Everyone has continued to rave about the Dane Wright Band to us and we really couldn't have been happier with them. We can’t say enough positive things about Dane Wright & crew and we know we’ll see them at plenty of other friends and families weddings soon!

Jeff Lubin and his band from Hank Lane Music were UNREAL at our wedding on May 5th. Everyone danced the night away and continued to talk about the band and is STILL talking about the band. He rocked the house down and couldn't have been more perfect and versatile. He played everything that everyone would have wanted to hear; from the Top 40 to Frank Sinatra. Hank Lane's staff was very helpful while choosing our music and we were so happy with the outcome of everything! I would highly recommend Jeff Lubin for a wedding, bar/bat mitzvah or any other event you may be having !

We had the Ernest Mills Band for our wedding this past weekend and they were fabulous! Ernest is awesome - he did a great job keeping the crowd excited and dancing all night! And the band did a great job of playing all different types of music that had our whole wedding up and dancing, not just the "kids"! Working with Hank Lane up until the day of was great as well - they helped us figure out our timeline for the actual wedding reception and were flexible with some of our special requests. We also used Hank Lane for our ceremony and cocktail hour music and I had some very specific requests for ceremony music which they did an amazing job of catering to. The only hiccup I had in working with them is that nobody addressed up front that we would need them to do the PA for our ceremony (for the officiant) so 2 weeks before the day we needed to pay an extra fee (and it wasn't nominal) to fund the PA setup for the ceremony which was kind of annoying. We didn't have an issue paying the fee, it was more so that we wished it was addressed at the beginning vs. having yet another cost being thrown our way at the last minute. Other than that, they were really great and would highly recommend them to any one looking for a professional, and contemporary sounding band at their wedding.

We had the Russ Bennett Band. They were excellent. Our guests were on the dance floor which set the tone for the evening. We received many compliments on the band. Russ was also great as he was calm in the midst of all the activity and kept checking with us. The male and female vocalists were outstanding. I can't recommend them enough. Everything from Lady Gaga, to Frank Sinatra, to Johnny Cash can be done by the Russ Bennett Band. Erik Marshall helped us from Hank Lane and he was very professional. It's a class act place that really wants you to enjoy your music on your day!!

DANE WRIGHT BAND We first met with Spencer Kaufman from Hank Lane to discuss our options. He was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He listened to what we wanted and helped us decide that The Dane Wright Band was the right fit for our affair. He also helped us pick the right amount of musicians. He offered suggestions wasn't pushy at all...he made us feel comfortable and assured us that whatever we chose, we'd have a great band! And he was right! The DANE WRIGHT BAND was amazing at our wedding! All of our guests have been raving about the band (both the talent and the song selection)! They played a great range of music (a great combo of Top 40, 80s and even Pearl Jam and STP during dinner) and had the entire party up dancing the entire time. Dane even took the time to meet with us beforehand, so we completely trusted him and didn't have to worry about a thing! It was clear that they made an effort to deliver the type of atmosphere that we were looking for--and it was spot on! Dane asked us all the right questions and offered great advice....and he has such a calming presence! We hope to see the band again in the future, so we can appreciate them band as a "guest" vs. the "host"!

Not only were they super high energy and kept the dance floor packed all night long, they played every single one of our requested songs - most of which were very untraditional indie songs. Bobby Attiko and Hank Lane did an amazing job at our wedding! Bobby and his band played all of our favorite songs and had us, our families, and our friends dancing all night long. Bobby was a pleasure to deal with and made the planning process very easy and stress-free. He and his band never stopped playing and we are still dancing to Nikki Minaj, LMFAO, Rihanna, and more. We couldn't have pulled off our wedding without Bobby and we can't recommend him highly enough. Use this band!

We can't say enough how awesome The Ernest Mill Band (Hank Lane) is. From our first contact with them right up through the wedding, it was nothing but smooth sailing and highest quality service. They are super professional and a pleasure to work with. They were very responsive to our emails/calls and we were never left in the dark. We gave them some of our music tastes and song suggestions, which were all over the place, and they totally ROCKED IT! They even were kind enough to allow my 9 year old nephew, who is an awesome and talented guitar player, to play a song for us. The wedding went completely smooth and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We didn't' see any of our guests sitting down, everyone was up dancing and partying! Since the reception we have got endless praises from all our guests, asking me for their information and who they were. We are looking forward to throwing another party so we have an excuse to hire these guys again in the future!!!

The Russ Bennett band from Hank Lane played at our wedding reception. They were phenomenal. I'm still getting comments from friends about how great the band was. Russ was great and very flexible with our many requests. He kept checking in with us throughout the reception. And most importantly, they played terrific music and played/sang it perfectly. I couldn't be happier with them.

I can't say enough about the Ernest Mills band. This is probably the best band I've ever seen perform at ANY wedding. And I don't mean just the music - Ernest and Hank Lane really delivered on service and professionalism. Highly, highly recommend!

We had the Ricky Sands Band play at our October 1, 2011 wedding and they were OUTSTANDING!! Not only did they totally stick to the genres/ songs that we specified on our playlist but they totally rocked them!l! They understood our style from the start, were able to read the crowd very well, and just put on a great show for our wedding night. Our dance floor was always full, the singers got involved w/ our guests on the dance floor during a few songs which was awesome. People were raving about the band during the wedding and after. They wanted their card, their number, etc. And best of all the band received shouts for an encore at the end of the night. I would recommend Ricky Sands Band and Hank Lane to anyone. I understand that people might be nervous since Hank Lane is a large company. Trust me...you do not get lost in the shuffle. These people know exactly what they are doing. I was nervous at first that I couldn't hear the band live (but I guess that's pretty normal for most companies) but honestly, they were better than I ever could have imagined. They sang songs live better than the original artist. No vendor is going to handhold you the entire way through your wedding. If you want that, hire a wedding planner to confirm & reconfirm 10,000 times the same details. Hank Lane handled every aspect of the entertainment portion of our wedding day w/ professionalism and a great attitude. We would work w/ them again w/ out any hesitation. These guys are true professionals. We used them for ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner music (a combination of 6 musicians) as well as a DJ for after dinner. Their musicians are incredibly talented and did a fantastic job with everything we wanted. The DJ played every song we requested and did an amazing job of keeping the party going. I couldn't have asked for a better music experience. Spencer and Mike were also fantastic to work with leading up to our event. They had great ideas and were always responsive. I took off a star for value and flexibility b/c they are a little pricey, but they are worth every penny if you love music and want to throw a great event.

We had Pete Saunders. By far the biggest talk of the wedding. They made our wedding that much more fabulous. Not only did they have the most incredible vocalists, the band played throughout the entire re option with no breaks. They were also so interactive coming out into the crowd and being a part of the celebration. I could not have imagined a better band to play at our wedding!

Beyond amazing. EVERY SINGLE person that I have spoken to since the wedding has complimented Kevin Osbourne and his band, saying it was by far the best band they had ever heard and they absolutely made the party that much more special.

We hired the Michael Hart Band at Hank Lane. They were suggested to me by a co-worker and so I looked into them. I had my wedding on a Friday to save a few dollars at the reception site. I had no idea that it would be the best decision of my wedding because it afforded me the opportunity to have Michael Hart & his band perform at my wedding (we couldn't have afforded a Saturday night). And perform they did. I had nearly the entire 200 guests chanting ONE MORE SONG at the end of the wedding. It truly was like being at a concert. They danced with us, with each other with choreographed moves, sang every song we wanted and kept everyone on the dance floor the whole night. The only thing my guests talk about was how this was the best wedding band ever. Still 2 months later they are talking about how they have never and will never encounter a band as good as them. I feel honored to have partied with them. And I hope you can too. Worth the splurge - seriously!

Russ Benet from Hank Lane was the best band I have ever heard and they made our entire wedding reception a complete dance party from start to finish. The energy at my reception was like nothing I have ever seen and I know it was because of the awesome band. I can't recommend them enough - to make your wedding the absolutely most fun night you can imagine!

The Hank Lane team is amazing and made for a wonderful experience. Erik M the sales rep, provided personal attention, professionalism and expert advice. A special thanks goes out to Dane and the Dane Wright band! They truly made our event a memory that we will cherish for a lifetime along with every guest that was there. My first interaction with Dane was an hour before the wedding while the band was setting up. I came up to the band and introduced myself, the guys were all great, high spirited and frankly people that I would have liked to have a beer with. Dane made the effort to comment on how unique and romantic our wedding song choice was, a song which he never had heard before, and made me feel great right from the start. Our wedding was during the record heat wave of 2011 and the temperatures outside exceeded 100 degrees. Due to unforeseen circumstances the air conditioning at our venue was not able to keep up with the oppressive heat and it was hot inside as well. The amazing talents and energy of the band kept everyone dancing all night long despite the heat! It was a party for the ages, one in which everyone untucked their shirts, loosened their ties and got down. With the heat our wedding could have gone 2 ways...boring and dull, complaining about the heat or the opposite way in which everyone just got a little sweaty together. Dane and the band ensured that we all had a great night and great memories. The music selection and energy were perfect...we can not thank them enough or say enough great things about them. We are still getting comments from our guests on how amazing the band was 4 months later!

Words cannot express how amazing the Jeff Lubin Band was at our wedding on July 2nd. The sheer number of guests who have called since the wedding to ask about the band is a testament to their incredible performance. When we met with Jeff over a year ago, he gave us the attention and assistance that every customer should be fortunate enough to have. And as the wedding came closer, he worked with us on everything from the arrivals, to the ceremony, to the reception.. helping to turn our dream-day into reality. We realize it is unusual for a band-leader to give so much attention to each and every client, but never once did we feel as though we inconvenienced him in any way. In fact, Jeff's enthusiasm made us feel as if we were the only wedding he was gearing up for! Every client should feel this way. Hank Lane Music is truly fortunate to have such a professional and talented band-leader. We have always said that a person could spend all the money in the world on a wedding, but without good music it is only a wedding...not a party. The Jeff Lubin Band gave us the party of our lives! It was a day we will never forget.

We used the Michael Hart Band from Hank Lane. Overall we were really happy and the feedback from our guests has been great! Our dance floor was really lively from beginning to end. Our only complaint was that we had several discussions before the wedding and sent them a short list of songs that we really wanted them to play during the reception (which they confirmed they would). On the night of, however, they basically didn't listen to us at all - they played 80% contemporary pop music - which they're great at - but which also left our parents a little disappointed since none of the music from their generation was played at all. So our friends had a great time, but if you have specific requests they may not honor those. Lastly, we had contracted with them to play until 10:30pm and at 10:30 they played their "last song" (which wasn't the song we had asked them to play as the last song). Everyone on the dance floor started chanting for them to play one more song...and they wouldnt. We felt they didn't even offer to let us pay them for a few minutes of overtime to keep the party going, they just packed up and left. Overall we really think they did a great job, but we just wish they had listened to us more and been a little more flexible.

The entire experience was fantastic. We used Kenny Ford and he rocked the place! Notably, the sales and support teams were great. We can't wait to use them again.

The Pete Saunders Band played my wedding at Temple Beth Torah and they were AMAZING!!! We've been to dozens of weddings in the past few years and no one has topped them. They had everyone dancing all night, and were very fun and playful. We met with Pete ahead of time and he made us feel very comfortable. All the top 40 songs were out of this world--really don't think twice, book this band. They are so professional and will deliver exactly what you want. All of our friends keep calling us to say how amazing our band was. Thanks so much, Pete!!!

They (the Russ Bennett Band) were, simply put, phenomenal. They surpassed all expectations of not just the bride and groom but all guests in attendance. Every person in attendance commented on how much they enjoyed the music, the professionalism and atmosphere the band created at the reception. The band did a great job mixing and matching different styles and eras of songs so as to keep people on the dance floor the entire night. Russ did a fantastic job engaging the audience with the playlist as well as checking in with the bride and groom to make sure we were happy with everything multiple times throughout the evening. The band was so good my parents were getting worried about my 86 year old great aunt because she was dancing to every song and they hadn’t seen her that active in years.

Amazing! We booked the Russ Bennett Band with Hank Lane for our June 4 wedding and the reviews coming in about the wedding are amazing. EVERYONE LOVED the band! The music was so energetic and wonderful that people started dancing even before the we (bride and groom) were announced! I have friends who have booked other bands with Hank Lane and have been just as happy. You seriously can't go wrong here...they make the entire music planning process seamless and are such a talented group of musicians!!

We had the Russ Bennett Band perform at our wedding and we couldn't have asked for a better band!!! They had incredible singers, had the crowd dancing all night, and they did a a great job of honoring our request list. They played mostly modern music like we requested, but they also nailed the classics (The Beatles, AC/DC, etc.). We got compliments throughout the entire night about how great the band was, and it's something that people still consistently bring up whenever we talk about the wedding. My only minor complaint would be Hank Lane's policy of not showing actual wedding footage during our selection process (they have the band's music playing with a photo montage of the band in the background, but they don't actually show live performances). Luckily, we were incredibly happy with the Russ Bennett Band, and we would recommend them in a heartbeat!!!

We hired Hank Lane for our ceremony musicians. There price is a little high but they were professional and on time and the music was perfect.

We had a great experience with Hank Lane! Yes, it is very expensive, but it ended up being worth it! Our band was the Hank Lane Revue and they were AMAZING. The band was literally so so good that they played covers that sounded just like or even better than the originals. We submitted our song requests online about 6 weeks or so before the wedding and then I had a conversation on the phone with a man I thought was the band leader, but then as it turns out there was a different band leader at the wedding and the man I spoke with on the phone was some sort of overall leader for many other leaders. Who knows. Anyway, it turned out great one way or the other. The band leader on the night of our wedding met with us a few minutes before the reception started to go over some last minute details. I was pleasantly surprised that the band followed every last request that we had (and there were many!) They played our first dance song perfectly, played all of the songs requested, and none of the songs on our "do not play list." The sounded amazing. Of all the things at my wedding I kept saying "oh my gosh, the band is so good!" Hank Lane is of course a huge company, so the service is not necessarily personal. That said, they know what they are doing and we felt like we were in good hands. I know some people complain about not being able to see videos of the actual bands before booking, which is indeed a bit nerve-wracking -- the company says this is for copyright reasons, and some other people say it is because Hank Lane just has a huge roster of musicians and so might switch them in and out to create various bands. I don't know which of these is true but n the end, it didn't really matter to us though because they were fantastic! These are professional musicians. The only thing I wish I had known previously is that the piano player we hired for our cocktail hour would be playing a keyboard. That seemed really cheesy to me, especially at our black tie wedding. I was under the impression that he would be playing an actual piano. I guess I should have been more insistent upon clarifying, but it wasn't something that had even occurred to me. Hopefully this can help some future brides!

We used the Encore band from Hank Lane, and they were fantastic! The dance floor was packed all evening, and my husband and I were too busy dancing to even eat! The lead singers were very engaging and even came onto the dance floor to have guests participate in the singing. It was so much fun, and Encore had such a wonderful range of songs - everything from Runaround Sue to Poker Face to Hips Don't Lie. All age ranges were pleased with the selection. We couldn't have been happier with them!

We used the Russ Bennet Band for our wedding and they were truly fantastic. In addition, the folks at Hank Lane really know their stuff and did a great job of matching us with the bands that fit our needs. In general, the service was good. They answered our questions fairly promptly and we were able to talk to our band leader prior to the event so that made us more comfortable with the fact that you don't see or meet the band prior to the day of the event. All in all, the ratings isn't a 5 out of 5 because I think we just would have liked a sit down with or someone else as we got closer to really share our ideas face to face. We had some specific requests that we probably would have conveyed better if we had been in an in-person meeting than over the phone. Otherwise, though, the event was a huge success and the music selections they made were right on for our crowd.

We could not have been more pleased with Pete Saunders Band of Hank Lane Music. Hank Lane was recommended by the women I was working with on my invitations and I was thrilled with Erik each time I spoke to him. He recommended Pete Saunders as our band. Once we chose Pete I continuously kept in contact with him via email and he was always prompt in his responses. I wanted to walk down the aisle to Beyonce's Ave Maria and Pete worked on 8 different cuts of the track to make it exactly right. Their performance during the reception was incredible. They sounded fantastic, were fun and got into the crowd, and made it the best party we could have imagined.

We used the Erik Marshall band from Hank Lane Music for our wedding at the Mandarian Oriental Hotel in NYC on January 8th, 2011. They were so AMAZING and had all the wedding guests up and dancing ALL night long! Although everyone commented on how beautiful the floral arrangements were, there wasn't one person that I spoke to that didn't go on about how great the band was. Several people told me that even though they don't have any events coming up, they want to plan something just so they can hire the band! Erik Marshall, band member and half owner of Hank Lane Music, was a pleasure to deal with and made everything so simple for us. Basically, we just told him what kind of music we liked, and left the rest up to him. They even learned our wedding song only five days before the wedding and they did a wonderful job. Very professional and a must-have for any New York City wedding! Thank you Erik and the rest of the band!!

Well I must say Dane Wright made my wedding day pretty amazing. I know I chose to get married in the winter and the snow was brutal - some my family could not make it into the city from out of town because of it and we were pretty down about it BUT... I have to say these guys made our wedding. Their enthusiasm, great song list, and ability to mix with the crowd really got people on their feet and having a great time. The most consistent feedback we heard from our guests about our event was 'best band ever!'

We booked Ricky Sands and his band and they were AMAZING. They played everything from Bon Jovi to Motown/Funk to Lady Gaga…and they made it sound better than the actual recorded songs! The dance floor was entirely full for the whole party. Not only was the band awesome, but Ricky is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet and was a wonderful MC. One of the wonderful things about the Ricky Sands band (and any Hank Lane band) is that they’re playing live music throughout the whole party, even while you’re eating dinner and dessert. We can’t say enough great things about Ricky and his band.

Possibly the best part of our wedding. We never stop hearing how great the band was. Very friendly and pre-wedding communication was easy. We had the Ernest Mills and he and his band were FANTASTIC

We had the Downtown Band at our wedding and we could not have been happier! My husband comes from a family of musicians as well as himself and a good band was VERY important to us! They were TOP notch and did not let us down. They played all the variety of music we ask them to and had our guests dancing all night! We did not leave the dance floor!! They were easy to work with and very receptive to the ideas we had. My husband, his brother, and friends got up at one point and played a few songs with the band!!! I wish they could have played into the wee hours of the morning

I used the Ernest Mills Band through Hank Lane Music. I was a bit nervous that I couldn't hear them in person before the wedding but they ended up being great! Ernest was lively and really kept the party going without being cheesy. He got into the crowd sang right in the mist of everyone dancing. Everyone after the wedding kept telling me how much fun they had and I think my band had a lot to do with it. Several people told me that it was the most fun wedding that they had ever attended! They played a mix of everything from bon jovi to lady gaga. They will basically play whatever you tell them. I definitely recommend Ernest Mills!

We booked the Michael Hart Band via Hank Lane Music and we could not be happier! Spencer at Hank Lane was helpful and courteous; he helped us narrow down our choices to fit our budget and our music preferences. We could not be happier with the Michael Hart band! They are absolutely amazing!! Our guests cannot stop talking about them and I can't either! Their range of music is amazing. They nailed everything from Old School to New School and we danced the entire night.

We loved having the Pete Saunders Band play at our wedding. Our guests tell us that when they hear certain songs on the radio, they think of the way Pete and his band played it. We booked the Russ Bennett band through Hank Lane and they were absolutely amazing!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a versatile band who plays everything from classical to contemporary. They kept the party going all night, which showed on the dance floor and our guests kept commenting on how amazing they sounded! Also, the MC came by our table throughout the night to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Overall, Hank Lane was SO wonderful to work with because of their professionalism and knowledge of music. Hank Lane's Jeff Lubin was spectacular. He had my band up and dancing the entire night. They were fabulous and we loved jeff and his crew so much. I can't even begin to explain how amazing they were. We had the best night!

We had the worst experience with the Jeff Lubin Band who is part of the Hank Lane repetoire. Do NOT book them....they almost completely ruined our wedding. You would think that booking a band through a reputable company like Hank Lane would be ok, especially given the insane cost....but they were HORRIBLE. The band leader, Jeff Lubin, got into an argument with me a few minutes before the reception started, and then refused to introduce the bridal party as we requested. Then, he destroyed the song that we were introduced to. He played the father-bride song 2x in a row because he didn't see that we were still cutting the cake. He played the mother-groom song twice...I guess because he ran out of songs to play. He didn't play for long periods of time as the band ate their dinner...that we paid for! People asked me if the wedding was over because the band was just standing there not playing. I loved the idea of having a band at our wedding. Just do NOT book the Jeff Lubin Band. Unfortunately, the Hank Lane management didn't do anything about the unprofessionalism of the band that they represent. Be very careful with what you sign with Hank Lane!!

We used Hank Lane to book the Bleeker Street Band and were OVERJOYED by their performance! The band was FANTASTIC. The seven piece band played all the songs we had requested, were easy to work with, engaged the crowd and were just plain awesome. Hank Lane was a great company to work with throughout the process from booking to final sales to actual performance. We will be using them again and have nothing but the best to say. You can rely on both the Bleeker Street Band and Hank Lane Productions to do a top notch job...leave your worries behind and listen to their sweet music.

The Downtown Band was insanely awesome. Our guests were FLOORED. One guest who is a music nut said it was hands down, better than any wedding music he'd ever heard. We were DELIGHTED. They played everything from the Ramones to Jay-Z to Roy Orbison with perfect style. They are expensive -- but worth it.

We had the Paula Atherton Band for our wedding. It is a 4 piece band and we added an extra singer for rhythm and blues. They place jazz and classicl sounds. Paula is the band leader and she plays 3 instruments in addition to being the female vocal. They did a wonderful job. Everyone commented on how excellent the music was. Everyone was dancing and they truly made the reception a success. I highly recommend them for your wedding.

love love loved them. We had the Bobby Attico band from Hank Lane and they ROCKED. We knew that the band would make or break the reception and are SO happy we went big with them. They learned a country song as a surprise for my husband, they honored every request to play (or not play) specific songs, they kept the energy of the entire wedding from before the entree through the last song of the night. My friends and family loved them, and we did too.

We had the Downtown band and it was simply amazing. They played all kinds of music and they could handle every request we made. Every guest loved them and our friends, who are going to marry soon, even asked us where to hire this band. True value for cost.

We hired Hank Lane’s “Downtown Band” for our wedding. Overall, our guests seemed to have a good time on the dance floor and we liked the variety of music. However, we did encounter a few issues with this vendor: -The customer service was spotty and unresponsive until the owner got involved. Once he started looking over us, things worked out very well. -The music was quite loud throughout the whole event. We had to ask multiple times for the volume to be turned down. -The website that is supposed to help to allow customers to hear portions of tracks, definitely needs to be improved.

Ok, in terms of sheer talent, this band is very good, let's start there out of fairness. But, they made me feel like part of a wedding factory. After reviewing the pronunciations of my husband's name and his family names (they are Korean) on the phone prior to the event, I found myself the night of the wedding standing out side in the cold while Ernest tried to learn our names before he introduced us. Also, we chose a fairly obscure first dance song (Hard to Concentrate by the Red Hot Chili Peppers) and were assured that the band would play it perfectly. Well, they didn't, and our choreographed dance got messed up (close the $1000 spent on dance lessons down the tubes). The guests had a great time, the music was very good, but after spending close to eight thousand dollars, I was left feeling a little disappointed. I wrote a fair email to this effect a few days after the wedding and got NO REPLY at all!! I wasn't even asking for money back, just giving my assessment, and they didn't even have the decency to acknowledge my concerns! So my final verdict is, if you have 10K to spend and just care about having good music, then Ernest Mills will work for you. If you want something with a more personal touch, and want to have a band that seems like they actually care about your wedding, go elsewhere, save yourself some $$, and just make sure they are decent musicians - your guests will have fun regardless!

We used Park Avenue band from Hank Lane and everyone loved them. We gave them a very long "do not play" list and they really stuck to it.

Our dance floor was literally packed the entire night. Hank Lane's Kenny Ford Band was AMAZING! They have an incredible range ~ they played rock, latin, pop, hip hop, do wap ~ and played literally every single song we requested. They played the entire 4 hours of the reception without taking a break, and played each song with the same energy as the first. I highly, highly recommend!

We used Hank Lane - Ernest Mills band for our wedding in Sept 2009. Oh my God, what an awesome band. While we initially didn't trust the salesmen side of the deal, and we we started to get really nervous since we never saw the band perform in person, everything worked out great. Very professional. Also, we wanted them to play music we like and not break into Mustang Sally for the 50 year olds in the room. We had a very young wedding and some of the songs they sang were I got a Feeling (black eye peas - our entrance song), Poker Face (lady Gaga), Footloose (K Loggins); and my special request, jersey girl!!! Highly recommended, go the band route and book Ernest Mills.

Hank Lane Erik Marshall Band was great! Erik is a great guy and my husband especially loved him (great plus). The music never stopped and even played clips of our first dance song throughout the night...they are able to do things a DJ cannot...they mix their music together so it just flows from one great song to the next. EVERYONE danced all night long and the after party DJ played all the songs on our list. My only complaint, our first dance song wasn't really sung how it should have been and i honestly could have rather listened to the track. But that was literally the ONLY song that didn't sound right (because its not a song they normally play). They are pricey but they know their stuff. Glad i made ALOT of room in my budget for them :)

they make you not want to sign on with them because they have sleazy salesmen and don't let you meet the band. but, just trust them. they've seriously been in business for so long because they really are great. everyone complemented us on the music - we had the 5th ave band. eventually, when we started dealing with the band coordinator instead of the salesman, they even let us create a large set list they could select songs from to make sure they only played music we wanted, and it was fantastic.

My experience with Hank Lane's Soho Rhythm was positive from the start. The band was awesome and people are still talking about them. They played a great mix of new and old, but it was all upbeat and fun. They even let some of my guests jump on the stage and join in. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend Hank Lane. Downtown from Hank Lane was great! Everyone from the first person we met with to the bandleader the day of were great. Very attentive to us and the crowd and had everyone up and dancing from the first dance till the end of the evening.

We had a wonderful experience with Hank Lane- Spencer Kaufman, our event producer at Hank Lane, was incredibly patient and assured us the music provided would be the very best & would enhance our event. He paired us with DJ Tom, a good-natured, generous great guy. Tom played every song we asked + some he knew we'd enjoy. He made sure not to play any guest requests without having my OK first- I loved that! I would easily recommend DJ Tom and Hank Lane - they're professional, responsible and the very best. We think they were worth every penny.

We used the Kenny Ford Band and they were excellent. Our guests raved about them the entire wedding and still talk about how great they were. Everyone was on their feet dancing the whole night. They played a variety of music so all ages were happy and had a blast!

The Mike Herman Band was awsome. ALL of my guests danced all night long. They helped me play a joke on the Best Man and it was just great. I had so much fun dancing.

I loved the chapel. It is a beautiful setting. Everyone we worked with was very nice they did things quickly and kept in great contact with us. Anything we needed or wanted they were very helpful. They make everything soooo easy and thats really what I loved. I never had to worry about somehing getting done.

We were a little disappointed in the band since they came so highly recommended. They did not play much of the music we requested and did not really play much good dance music to get the crowd up. The MC was not as enthusiastic as we expected. We were expecting better a quality performance based on the price.

Hank Lane Revue were awesome. Great music mix of contemporary and classic. They really made the wedding ONE AWESOME PARTY. SO much fun! One of the best decisions for our wedding.

I highly recommend Hank Lane's Madison Avenue Band. The dancefloor was packed the whole night, and people that I least expcted to see dancing were at it all night. While some songs were not able to be requested, we still found the band to be flexibile and very entertaining. A wonderful range of songs.

Although I hardly remember the band because I was all over the place at my wedding, I heard that they were very very good. There song selection was good as well.

Hank Lane is a great band company. There are tons of bands to choose from but if you want to dance all night and party like you are listening to the radio then you have to pick Michael Hart. We saw them at a friends wedding and knew we had to book them right there and then. They truly are amazing. I definitely had a mixed crowd between younger people and older people who wanted to party and they kept signing all night long. All you do is tell them some genras you like and they will take care of the rest. I never had so many people ask me how we came up with that song list. I said they did it all on there own. They truly rocked the night away..playing everything from U2, Kelly Clarkson, Madonna, all the way to motown for the older crowd. Truth is everyone danced so much that i dont remember any points when the dance floor was empty. I would highly recommend this band. the lead singers are amazing and i promise you you wont regret it!

My wife and I got married last summer - 8/2/08. I can't say more how happy we were with Jeff Lubin and the Jeff Lubin Band. If you want a band that can play everything and keep your party going all night, this is your band. Jeff and the band got the party going with a rousing hora and played rock n roll music from evey era, as well as plenty of dance music. His band members are spot on and the male and female vocalists were incredible. They played all our requests and more, which included music by Neil Diamond, Frankie Vallie, The Beach Boys, Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Beyonce, Usher - plus so much more. Plus, after the wedding, Jeff played an after hour set of unplugged rock-n-roll. Overall, friends and relatives thought they were the best wedding band they've heard. We couldn't agree more. Jeff Lubin Band played an integral role in our wedding being such a memorable and incredible event.

I cannot begin to explain just how amazing this band was. Everyone still discusses the music at our wedding almost two months later. Although it did cost a little bit much, it was well worth it. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire time and I gave the band a specific list of yes/no's to play and they followed it correctly and got an amazing feel of what kind of music we wanted. I would say this was the best band I have experienced.

I used Mike Hart's band and they were the BEST! Everyone was on the dance floor. I was dancing all night long!!!!! My shoes were off at the end of the night........ Thank you Mike!

Met with Ian Magid of Hank Lane in NYC - a "music supplier" with 13 bands and many DJ's in their emporium. Ian was friendly and well versed - undoubtedly knew his music. He furnished a CD and black and white picture of the band he recommended to us - The Park Avenue Band - based on the results from a survey we took - most notably our budget and how many musicians we were looking for. We wanted everything from Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald to Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen to Motown and this the range, down to the specific songs, was present on the CD he played for us. While we'd have liked to see a video performance, we decided to go with Hank Lane as they are a reputable company and seemed to have exactly what we wanted. Upon pressing Ian for a reference from a past client he was hard pressed to produce one, finally after 2 follow-ups gave us the name and number of a woman who had a glowing recommendation. We were promised a conference call prior to our wedding with the band leader which they kept rescheduling and eventually never delivered on. At the wedding the band was professional, on-time, and certainly had a good range. However we had submitted a thorough list of recommendations which they not only did not stick to at all, but did not even know. We requested Bruce Springsteen at the wedding when they took a short break but they didn't know how to play that or Bon Jovi. They did play our wedding song brilliantly, "If Not For You" by Bob Dylan, and even had the harmonica, which was impressive. They also had a great rendition of "Start me up" by the Rolling Stones. Another disappointing element was that they didn't seem to have a gauge on what the crowd wanted - they were still playing a slow song ("At Last") at 10:15pm, 45 minutes before the end of the wedding when it should have been only fast, dance music. They introduced the 'father-daughter' dance when my father was nowhere to be found (instead of taking a quick look around before the announcement, clearly knowing who the father of the bride was following his toast) then made the same error when introducing the groom to play on the drums - he, too, was not in the room when they switched the drum set to the lefty side for the groom to play, then we had no music for 10 minutes while we tracked him down. Again, a quick sweep of the room to see if the man of honor was present, would have been advisable. All in all, a good but not great band. EMAIL: http://www.hanklane.com/

The Kenny Ford Band with Hank Lane was exceptional. We gave our choices for the parts of the ceremony (on a great website of theirs) and the type of music for the cocktail hour and the reception and were wowed constantly. I was a little nervous not knowing how you choose good music for a party and after we chose the type of music the Band took control and knew based on the guests and the part of the reception (whether we were eating, etc.) what songs to play. It was incredible. The only part I regret is not getting a play list afterward to remember all the songs they played and put together a CD to listen to (but I'm sure that would reveal their secrets). They were amazing, I absolutely can't say it enough. They were great and I would recommend them for sure. They were $8k for I think 8 musicians during the reception, 2 for the ceremony and 2 for the cocktail hour. I wouldn't say they are a budget band but they are so worth it and they make the party!! Overtime is a charge of course but after they finished everyone yelled ENCORE and they played one more song and didn't charge for it, I felt that was very upstanding and professional of them. I would love to have been able to afford to pay them to play much longer but at that point, I couldn't wait to get out of my dress and relax!!!
