Di was very interactive and knew how to make you feel comfortable. While taking photos you wonder why you have to do certain poses, but we trusted Di during our engagement session and when we saw the photos we were blown away by his creativity. At the wedding we were so comfortable and knew that he would capture every moment. By far the best photographer we ever met!

Di is the man! We are so thankful we chose Di as our wedding photographer! Choosing a photographer was one of the more nerve-racking steps during our planning process. We really didn’t know where to start- we had attended several weddings, but were never really impressed with the photographers. We chose Di after getting a few recommendations and checking out a few places, and looking back it was the right call! He did both our engagement shoot and our wedding start to finish, and did an outstanding job. We were hesitant going into our engagement shoot, as neither of us are really into photo shoots. We expected an awkward afternoon of taking pictures, but with Di at the helm, we walked away all smiles and couldn’t get over how much fun we had. Di has an incredible eye for great shots. He immediately got a feel for us and was able to direct and work with us to achieve shots that were beyond our expectations. After the engagement shoot, we couldn’t wait for the wedding photos. Again, we were not disappointed! He got all the shots we asked for, and then some! We were really concerned since our entire wedding was going to be indoors, but again Di’s skill and experience impressed. He made the most of our venue, and found some really unique settings that led to some incredible shots. Beyond the incredible photos, Di is also incredibly easy to work with and a total professional. Di Zhang was our wedding photographer and we couldn't have picked a better person. Di was our photographer for our wedding in October, 2012. Not only is he laid back and funny but he is a skilled photographer as well. We took an array of posed (ie. family pics) but mostly candid shots that were both unique and personal. Since it rained on our wedding day, Di changed the location of our photos on a whim which turned out to better than our original location. We cannot thank Di enough for all the time and effort he put in to make our day go without a hitch! We have gotten so many compliments on our wedding photos. We love them and we love Di! Hands down the best photographer we could ever have for our wedding! I only met Di one before my wedding, but I already knew he would be great - he has a great personality that you will never feel uneasy talking or working with him. On the wedding day, not surprisingly, Di was as great as expected, we couldn't be happier having him to capture every moment of our big day. We had a small ceremony in Central Park and had a few hours' photo shoot afterwards. It was pleasant couple hours when we traveled through the Park and all the way down to South Ferry. I'm usually camera-shy and can get stiff when it comes to photo shooting, but Di made it so comfortable, I truly enjoyed the whole process. The finished pictures came on a DVD in a delicate wood box engraved with our names. The "feature" picture printed on the DVD turned out to be my favorite picture of the entire set. But of course, all the pictures were just awesome. Thank you so very much Di. You are the man! I'd recommend him 120% to whoever's looking for a photographer on your wedding day. Di is amazing! We were so pleased with every aspect of our photos. Di and his team did such an amazing job at capturing every emotion throughout the day. I want to start by thanking Di for all that he did. I looked far and wide for a good Photographer and I was recommended to use Dreamlife Photo and Video for a good value. We got paired with the senior photographer. He is very easy to work with, makes you feel very comfortable and most of all when he shoots you barely notice he's there. My engagment photos were taken in the beginning of May 2012 in Central Park on a gorgeous Sunday. Even though it was on an "Hour Engagment Photo session" he went over the alloatted time as he wanted to get a few more good shoots in. Clearly he is passionate about what he does:) I was SO impressed by my photos that it was my peace of mind that my wedding photos will come outs great and I was NOT let down. And might I add I got my engagement photos were ready within a WEEK of shoot. On the day of my wedding, he was on time, he was shooting away in the background as my bridesmaids and I were getting ready. My husband and I decided to do pictures before the ceremony (highly recommned this) so we did the First Look at a park in town. Di captured all the angels I wanted! I think the most memoriable part is when he took a group shoot of the entire bridal party next to the lake in the park. He literally kicked off his shoes and went into the water and started to taking shoots. My guests are still talking about that photo!! Lastly, I want to add I love his style. Di is an amazing photographer who not only understands his craft but is passionate about his work and it shows! Dear brides, Choosing a photographer is by far the most important to-do on your list. You want someone you feel comfortable around, someone who knows how to make you look beautiful, and someone who you trust with capturing one of the most important days in your life. Di is all of those someones and more. Not only was he our wedding and engagement shoot photographer, he's now a close friend. During the ceremony, he snapped candid pictures -- most of the time without us even knowing -- all of which were beautiful, unposed, and sincere. During the reception, he took the necessary group/family shots, but really captured the essence of the evening -- the beach, the moon, the details. Di is an amazing photographer! His ability to capture the magic of every emotion and moment without intruding into the moment is sheer perfection. We hired Di as a photographer for our wedding and for our engagement shoot at Yankee Stadium! Even though our Engagement shoot was at such an iconic venue, he was still able to capture the playfulness and essence of who we are as a couple while still capturing the beauty of the stadium. On our wedding day, he knew exactly what to say to put all the nerves and excitement at ease and catch beautiful moments throughout the day. The rose garden which was the original location for our bridal portraits was affected by a cold weather spell, but Di came to the rescue! Across the street from our original locotion, Di spotted another location that was so much better. The pictures of myself and the groom alone on a tiny stone walkway in the middle of a pond were simply breathtaking and were some of our favorite moments of the day. On some of the most important events of your life, you are going to want someone who can think on their feet, be able to go with the flow, contend with many different personalities of all of the guests and family members, as well as capture every moment that they can without artificially manipulatiing the day- Di is definitely that person! I have the most amazing pictures to look back on to remind me of the happiest day of my life and I can't thank Di enough for capturing the beauty in every moment!

Di was amazing! He captured all the precious moments of our wedding from getting ready, to the ceremony, all the way to the reception! Before our big day, he took the time to sit with us and discuss the run down of our wedding day, what we were wishing to capture and he delivered to the fullest. We wanted a photo journalistic approach with some traditional photos (like the photos with the family) and he did just that. We had a very unique venue, a broadway theater in Times Square NY, and he really knew how to capture pictures that spoke to you. He played with the rarity of this historic reception place and really captured the essence of our New York wedding! We even did a stroll around Times Square and he took some amazing pictures using the backdrop of the heart of the Theater District! Our wedding was a feature in Manhattan Bride magazine the following year and we were able to use Di's pictures to showcase our beautiful and memorable occasion! I would definitely recommend him.
