Shanelle was amazing. We originally contacted her when my husband and I were first engaged, but decided not to continue with her planning services because I wanted to plan our special day on my own. Additionally were supposed to receive day of service help from another source. Long story short through the year of our planning Shanelle continued to reach out to me, not to push a service but to sincerely find out how I was doing planning this momentous day. You can't ask for anything better then that!!! So three weeks before our November 11 wedding, my husband and I are over whelmed, the person that was supposed to help us became unreliable. What were we to do! So we decided to call Shanelle, and we explained the situation and told her we needed a day of planner for our special day. She was more then willing to help us, it was a blessing. Shanelle was present for the rehearsal, and maintained order through the process. I can honestly tell you that, I felt a load lift off of me the day of the rehearsal and the wedding. And besides the joy of getting married that the second best feeling a bride can feel on her wedding day. The day of the wedding was perfect, since I really had everything mapped out she was excellent at executing the plan. The day was perfect, and she had a major role. What can I say, a long time friend and a great event planner, Shanelle did her thing. She provided to me and my husband, her 11th hour service where her staff got involved the day of the wedding. Although we didn't get a full service package from her where she planned from beginning to end, I saw how very attentive and detail-oriented she was. She treated me as if she would any other client and business came over relationship. She wasn't even supposed to work that day and she took her energy and time to make sure everything went smoothly. I'm really grateful for that. She even got the venue to give us an extra 20 minutes of party time. She stayed on top of the venue staff to make sure they did their job correctly and attended to bridal party the way they should have from the beginning. If you want someone who is going to make sure everything will work in your favor, hire shanelle. Her head coordinators are very well trained as well. One of the them took charge for the day and he, Manuel Williams, was just as attentive as she was. He was literally running around like a chicken with his head cutt off...lol, but it showed his passion for the job and to hold things together. He has a great personality and would work well with anyone...even the toughest of brides ;-). He is also very patient, which tended to be the best quality in all of my vendors.

I was referred to Shanelle and her team through another vendor for my August 3rd wedding and was thoroughly impressed. Although my venue claimed to have a "Day of Coordinator" on-site, I am so glad I decided to go with Shanelle and her team. From a customized, day of schedule, contacts for transportation at every price point, ideas for the night of, assistance during the rehearsal, to suitcases filled with steamers and sewing kits, the IC team really went above and beyond my expectations! To this day, guests are still raving about how seamless and organized the wedding was thanks to Imaginative Creations. I can’t say enough great things about Imaginative Creations, which provided Day-of-coordination for my wedding on July 20th. I didn't plan on having a wedding planner because I was on a tight budget. I however, never say never without completely exhausting my options. I took to wedding wire to research wedding planners and during my search I came across Imaginative creations and a handful of other prospective planners. I emailed or called all the planners that seemed promising based on reviews but once they heard my budget they, pretty much nicely and in some cases not so nicely, told me I couldn’t afford them. Of all the planners that I contacted, Shanelle who responded promptly was the nicest and most sincere. During our first phone conversation we spoke at length about my budget and my options. At the end of the conversation I told her that a wedding planner may not fit into my budget. Fast forward months later (when the thought of a planner had long been forgotten I receive an unexpected call from Shanelle wanting to know how I was doing and how the planning was coming along. We had a great chat, like old friends, and she provided advice and suggestions. She asked if I had given anymore thought to a planner and I told her I still didn't think we could afford a planner. We kept in touch and along the way we revisited my budget and she suggested an arrangement that would allow me to have a planner for only the day of the wedding. I was still not sure I could swing it budget wise but I said I'd think about it. We spoke a few times after this and as my husband got to know more about Shanelle he started to soften to the idea of finding a way to fit a coordinator into the budget. We both felt that Shanelle was already selflessly invested in our well-being and the success of our wedding and that if this wasn't a testament to how wonderful a person she is and how dedicated her company would be, we didn't think anything else could convince us. We decided that we didn't want to do our wedding without Shanelle and her team and we are beyond happy we made that decision. Shanelle is very attentive, organized, dedicated, professional and overall a great person. She introduced me to vendors that worked with my budget while providing exceptional service (hair, make-up and flowers). On the day of my wedding Shanelle and her team were like guardian angels. Everything went smoothly! Shanelle knows how to make you feel calm even when it seems like your world is falling apart. She was ever on hand to make sure I was looking and feeling my best. She was so on top of things (I still don't know all the things that happened behind the scenes). My family fell in love with her personality and her professionalism. Both my mom and mother-in-law can't stop commending her services and I've heard them exclaim on occasion that if they had to plan a party they'd love to have Shanelle or at the least someone like her and her team to take care of things. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. To Shanelle and her team at Imaginative Creations, thank you for making my day so special. Would not have had a wonderful day without Shanelle Although I hired ICS for "Day of Coordination" services I felt like she was there from day 1. She is thorough, professional, precised, organized, personal and efficient. If anything went wrong on my day I never knew about it as ICS was on the job, she took care of the big things as well as the little ones. Shanelle was on point with everything, for instance she carried my lipstick the entire day to ensure I was picture perfect, she help me with my dress when I had to go to the lady's room, she ensure that we ate, the photographer took enoungh and the right pictures, and so much more. Shanelle and ICS staff are AWESOME! I was looking for a planner for the day of coordination however Shanelle gave so much more. She is an attentive, organized and professional Woman. Whenever I had a question she responded within minutes. She introduced me to two great vendors Chic Sugars and Finer Touch Entertainment. I told Shanelle my vision and my wedding was PERFECT! I have to also add that she works with you all the way I was supposed to have 130 guest but ended up with 268. With uninvited guest and seat arrangements Shanelle made sure that the day was grand and I didn't have to worry about anything. Shanelle and Manny worked with all our vendors to ensure everything was on Time; which was very important to us. It feels great on the day of your wedding to trust someone and know it will get done. It is with pleasure that I write this review for Shanelle and her company ICS. I am so happy that my friend, who's wedding ICS coordinated, recommended her to me for my wedding. ICS was by far my most valued vendor. Shanelle and her crew were always quick to respond to my many emails and made the needed recommendations for other vendors I used - photographer, videographer, DJ, florist. My now husband, who was at first hesitant about us needing a coordinator, later wondered out loud how people have weddings without the help of a coordinator. We were very impressed by ICS and the level of service they provided to us on our wedding day; they were nearby at all times, attending to our needs and making sure everything was going as planned. Although our Nigerian wedding went hours over, Shanelle and her assistant Jenny stayed with us till the end. After getting engaged I knew instantly that I would need someone to assist me in planning my wedding. I had so many ideas and visions that it was hard for me to pick anything. So I went to my trusted computer and googled wedding planners. And by the grace of God I found Shanelle and ICS. I was blessed with a group of people who listened to me and helped me to hone in on what I really wanted. Shanelle is a wonderful person and that shows in her work. Shanelle, manny and lisette were absolutely PHENOMENAL! They stayed professional and FUN from beginning to end. I'm a very picky and forgetful bride and Imaginative creations by shanelle started on top of everything! My wedding was the greatess !! First, I must say that Shanelle and her staff had the daunting task of planning our wedding - with me, the groom living in Switzerland and my wife Natasha in New York, we logged tons of Skype calls, impromptu meetings and I won't begin with the 1,000's of emails sent back and forth. But, Shanelle truly handled all with the utmost professionalism, time management and kindness. I can honestly say that I don't know where we would have started and ended without her. Now to the day of. Shanelle, Manny and Jenny have our utmost gratitude for our weekend getaway wedding in South Jersey (Friday to Sunday) they were there and present, from the midnight to 2am gift bag packing to my insane need for sugar-free Red Bulls to the last minute gift that I needed for one of my mentors the team was on fire. Shanelle and her team are amazing. Her guidance through the planning was priceless. Going into planning my wedding, I was not sure if I needed a wedding planner or not but Shanelle was referred to me by a family member and I decided to give it a try. Let me just say that in the first conversation, she gave me more information that I was able to gather myself in the three months before planning on my own. She kept in touch and guided me every step of the way. After over a year of planning the big day was finally here and Shanelle and her team were absolutely fabulous. I never worried about anything, I was on time, the vendors she recommended were perfect and professional. She thought of everything and her emergency kit even impressed my bridesmaids. I asked my mom to bring her portable steamer and when that stopped working, Shanelle had one. Shanelle and her team were in constant communication throughout the event to ensure my day ran smoothly. Everyone commented that I was such a happy bride and all I can say is, that is because of Shanelle and her team. I never worried for anything. Her services were priceless. She even handled the demands of my family with professionalism and trust me that is not easy. Shanelle is a life saver! When my flowers were a no show on the day of my wedding, she and her assistants took charge and arranged for myself and my bridal party to have flowers. I give her tons of credit for being able to deal with my family and friends for my big Nigerian wedding! She is a joy to work with!

Shanelle and her Assitant, Manny, were a great assest to my wedding. With them there, I felt more at peace as the day continued. They were well worth the money that I spent. A noteworthy example of Shanelle's commitment to me was that she began working as soon as I hire her, despite the fact that I only purchased her "Month of" service. Regardless, 2/3 months before the wedding, she assisted me in finding chair covers and even met me at an appointment to pick them out. I was pleasantly shocked. Another is that she was right by my side when taking photos with my neby husband. I think she was there because she knew how much I hated pictures, but she kept a smile on my face. That's another thing...she really took the time to get to know me. I appreciated that the most. She also was in constant contact with me throughout the entire process. She answered emails within an hour or two. I think that she has great taste, if you are looking for an opinion. However, she will not push her thoughts or visions on you, which I appreciated. The last thing is that I wish I would have met with her right before the wedding. I had a wedding that included little details that mattered to me. However, so of those little details were added at the end so Shanelle and her team were unaware of them. With that being said, some things could have went astray, but were quickly corrected by a family member helping out. So nothing was out of place. What can I say, Shanelle provided Wonderful professional service. She was always available to email or talk. She always responded right away and gave great resources. Her makeup artist and hairstylist were the best, and at the last minute I needed invitations and programs and she recommended someone who was incredible, everyone was like family, including Shanelle. How can I forget the musicians, everyone raved about them a cellist and guitar, it was different yet classy with a tradiotnal flare., they were great. Oh, her assistant Jenney was sooo sweet and has an eye for perfection. They both stayed at my house until after 12:00 am helping me put favors together for 300! Shenelle went above and beyond the services I requested,she was there for moral support and prayer as well(soo important). My family and I were truly pleased from start to finish. Shanelle Walker from Imaginative Creations was simply dynamite. She made sure on my wedding day that I had no worries. There were some things that went wrong but she was attentive in resolving everything without my knowledge. In the 1 year of planning I relocated from Maryland to New York and also had a baby. I had so much on my plate is was ridiculous. Shanelle made sure I was aware of my timelines. She was always on top of everything. She was always prompt and on point in answering any questions that I may have had regarding my wedding day. Shanelle and Imaginative Creations by Shanelle are truly amazing and the best company I have ever worked with. I found Shanelle through a search online in January 2009, we were to be married July 2009. Out of all the vendors I spoke to, I instantly knew Shanelle was the one.
