I had an amazing experience with Pete, and I am so glad I found him! We decided on him because he had amazingly beautiful photos, at a good price compared to others when we shopped around. We used him for both our engagement photos and wedding photos, and it came as a package deal. Our engagement photos were GORGEOUS and I couldn't wait to use them in our invitations, on our website, as our Facebook profile pictures, etc. The day of our wedding, Pete was even more of a rockstar! He and his assistant were everywhere snapping photos, and he captured EVERY special moment of our wedding. I am so glad that I could relive every moment. He not only got the shots I requested, he took a ton of creative ones that I would have never thought of. He took so many great photos, my wedding album is going to be 10 inches thick! He also knows how to guide couples thru the process. He gave us guidance on the poses to make (which is great because my husband and i are both a little awkward with photos), and made sure to add a variety each time so that we had options to choose from. Pete is very talented! I can't recommend him enough!

InFocus NYC did an AMAZING job photographing our wedding. Pete is professional, reliable, flexible, accommodating and TALENTED!! We had to change wedding venues close to our wedding date, and Pete came out twice to meet with us. (A service that not many vendors were willing to consider). Then on our wedding day I had an injured knee and could not walk long distances, and Pete was able to shoot BEAUTIFUL pictures in limited time, space, and on a 100 degree day!! Pete was an excellent photographer for our wedding. We had him take care of our engagement photos to try him out and were very pleased with the results. Despite a number of obstacles that day (unusual outdoor lighting conditions, wind, and large numbers of bystanders / crowds), Pete was patient and stuck through it for a full SIX hours when most would only give us 2-3 hours. Pete has a good eye for composition, finding unique and smart angles to make his shots. He edits his photos tastefully without resorting to "Instagram" like shots (unless that's what you want, which I'm sure he can accommodate). I highly recommend Pete because he's extraordinarily flexible and delivered all the photos with great quality and on schedule despite a hectic wedding season. His pricing is very reasonable and for the amount of time and quality he puts into his work, I think he'll prove a true asset for your special day as well.

Pete is an amzing photographer. My husband and I were so happy with him. Our engagement shoot pictures and wedding pictures came out amazing. Pete is easy to work with, reliable and always returns my emails and calls asap. He even found me video-ographer 4 days before my wedding. He does great work, and he is creative. Our engagement shoot took place in all different types of terrain and Pete worked with us - it was fantastic how much variety we got. Our wedding pictures also great, he really captured everything. Pete was also very willing to change his package options to fit our needs by taking out features we were not interested in and adding in others that we were. Hiring Pete from Infocus as my wedding photographer was one of the best decisions I made. He arrived early with his assistant on the morning of my wedding. They set up quickly and promptly started working. Throughout the day, they were cooperative, professional, and respectful. I received many compliments from guests who appreciated how inconspicuous he was throughout the day. Pete perfectly captured in pictures the feelings my husband and I had on our wedding day. We got married on the hottest day of the summer, so I was a bit worried about how we would look, but our pictures were beyond amazing. They were creative and just beautiful. His use of light and shadow is amazing. Because it was so hot on this day, it was very hard to get pictures done in the afternoon heat. Pete stayed after our wedding to make sure we were happy and had all of the pictures we wanted. For that, we were extremely grateful. Pete responded to my questions and concerns promptly and was very patient when we kept changing our engagement shoot. If I had it to do over again, I would pick Pete and Infocus each and every time. It might look too good to be true: 5 out of 5 stars, but it's exactly how I feel about Pete and his services. While searching for a photographer I knew the look I wanted but was completely in the dark as to how I would settle on a photographer. The next most important thing that I didn't realize was even a possibility until I met with Pete was that our personalities clicked. He was a great fit with my husband and I. I think people may overlook this quality but when you think about it the photographer at your wedding will be at your side every step of the day, from getting ready to the end of the reception. When it came to planning my wedding, choosing a GREAT photographer was my biggest concern. I must say, I could not have found a better photographer. InFocus photography was absolutely amazing. Pete Gebhardt had done an engagement shoot for us prior to our wedding in DUMBO, Brookly. The pictures from that alone were gorgeous. We knew that when it came time for the wedding that we were in good hands. Not only is Pete an amazing photographer, he is a GREAT guy. It meant alot to me to be 100% comfortable with my photographer. He took pictures on a personal level, not just standard shots. All of my guest loved him and his assistant Julie. In the future if I ever need a photographer or know anyone who does, Pete will be the first person I call. You will be lucky if you can get them to photograph your special occasion!

Pete took both my engagement and wedding photos and they all came out fabulous. He took us to several different lovely NYC locations for the engagement shoot and took many shots. I had a night wedding, so the hall was dark but Pete's pictures came out clear and bright. He is also a great editor putting some pictures in black and white and bringing out vivid colors in others. Pete is prompt and courteous.

I was so very pleased with all of my dealings with Pete, I cannot say enough. First of all, my husband and I signed a contract with a different photographer that we were uncomfortable with and immediately regretted the decision. Pete made me feel completely confident in my decision to change photographers and worked together with me on our tight budget and truly gave me the greatest quality for everything. Our wedding pictures came out beautiful, a perfect blend of photojournalistic and posed shots...I am constantly getting compliments on all of the framed shots throughout my house. He also did a great job designing our "Thank Yous" and albums. He was so patient and professional and gave great input on all of the designs, plus he is extremely artistically talented so there were not many changes to be made. I would recommend (and already have) Pete and InfocusNYC Photography to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. He also took family pictures of my sister and her family which turned out gorgeous as well. When the day comes that I want to get family pictures, I will definitely call Pete...as you should!!

Pete was awesome! We love the photos that he took to capture our wedding day. Mark was a little nervous about hiring him because of his "journalistic" approach but the end result was Pete impressed my husband! I was extremely picky on the photographer for the wedding, for I studied photography for 4 semesters myself and didn't want just anybody capturing my wedding day. Pete blew me away! I would recommend him without any hesitation on my part! We had access to our wedding photos in just over a week from our wedding day and have been proudly sharing them with friends and family. We cannot recommend Pete Gebhardt of InfocusNYC highly enough! He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, such a very kind & easygoing person- and we were able to work out an extremely reasonable fee for his photography. The day of our wedding was far more hectic than we had anticipated; a tropical storm hit (our wedding was on an island, reachable only by ferry), and I (the bride) had an accident that required an ER visit. Pete showed up in the middle of the madness and never once lost his cool. He was totally flexible, and he completely captured the spirit of the day, without once seeming to get in anyone's way. We barely noticed him quietly clicking away the entire day. His photos speak for themselves- absolutely gorgeous, far more beautiful than we had hoped for. They tend to have a high-fashion quality, and remind us of Annie Leibowitz's work. We simply could not be happier with the outcome, and we are thrilled to have had Pete be such an integral part of our wedding day! We have already recommended him to numerous friends/relatives getting married, or who just need a fantastic photographer...he is truly one in a million!

peter was great, always friendly ,polite , VERY funny! took amazing shots considering i got married on a day of a hurricane! i felt like he was part of the wedding not just there taking photos which was very nice. i would def recommend him to anyone!! and if i need another photographer it would def be him! thank you!!!

Pete from Infocus NYC is awesome! He was great to work with. Very creative. Very professional. Very patient. He did everything we wanted him to do & a whole lot more. He listened very carefully to what we wanted and suggested things we had never thought of. Being a bit of an artist / perfectionist myself, I am really not easy to please when it comes to photography. But, if it is natural, if it truly captures the moment, then it's great photography.
