JK entertainment performed last night at my Daughter's wedding. Everyone, said they were the best band they ever saw. The music is continuous which you don't usually see, Even though they took breaks to eat, there were always band members performing. We had 11 pieces, their rate is so reasonable. The dance floor was always packed. They are very interactive with the guests. So professional. The singers were amazing. Everyone raved throughout the night. You don't have to look at anyone else, they are fantastic. Thank you Joel for helping to make my daughter's wedding great!

If we had to do our wedding all over again, having the JK Band would be the first thing we would make sure we kept!!! This band was not just a band playing at a wedding, they were true performers. The JK Band had a way of making everyone come together on the dance floor. Comments are still being made about our wedding and how there was barely any space on the dance floor the entire night. Everyone was up and dancing to every song no matter how old or young they were. Each member of the band spoke with us as though they were friends coming to our wedding. They made us feel as though the whole world was enjoying our night with us. My daughter's wedding was last Saturday. We hired the JK Band because she had loved them at a friend's wedding, and Joel came all the way up to our home in West Hartford to talk with us about the band. We liked him from the start - professional, passionate about his music, and understanding about what makes a wedding terrific. So I felt confident and excited when the date arrived. Let me tell you, they were AMAZING!! Even better than I expected! The music was first rate, and from tunes from the 40's to today's hits, it was infectious. People were up and dancing for every tune, from the bride and grooms's friends to my 86-year old mother. All I heard throughout the night, (other than how gorgeous the bride looked!), was how fantastic the band was. The music at a wedding makes the party. It is worth paying for live music, and the best you can get - it will make your party memorable. I can not recommend the JK Band highly enough - best wedding decision we made!

Joel and his team thru us the wedding of the year last night! We saw the JK Band at a wedding 2 years ago and as soon as we got engaged we knew this was the band we had to have. Joel is professional, responsive and such a pleasure to work with. With Hurricane Sandy hitting the tri-state area 10 days before the wedding, he still managed to review every last detail with me (with no power, heat, or water at his home!!!) without breaking a sweat. Our wedding was ABSOLUTELY magical and everything we hoped and dreamed for. All night everyone kept asking us how we found the band since they were so fabulous. If you are looking for a AMAZING band that will rock all night, JK is it.

We have been married for a month and people are STILL talking about how amazing JK Band was at our wedding! We saw them at another wedding and as soon as i had my date set i booked them right away. My brother has been to 3 weddings (including my own) and everyone is on the dance floor! The JK band was in one word… INCREDIBLE! The JK Band was recommended to us by our wedding venue. We went to their website and watched their sampler video and instantly thought that they were the perfect band for us. From our first meeting with Joel over a year and a half ago and throughout the entire wedding process he made sure to tend to and respond to our every need. He even drove over to our apartment to chat with us about our special day and explain all of our options. A month before our wedding he even had the band learn a new song for our first dance. All nine pieces of the band were true musicians. The vocals were incredible. Guests were out on the dance floor before we were even introduced! This continued throughout the entire evening. There was not one person at our wedding who did not dance. Even my husband’s 91 year old Grandma was out on the dance floor! During the wedding everyone was coming over to us and telling us how amazing the JK Band was. Many guests were telling us how their significant others never dance at weddings and how they normally have to try to drag them out on the dance floor, but this was not the case the night of our wedding. We had a hard time sitting and eating our dinner because we just wanted to get up and dance the night away. The dance floor was packed all night, and something was played for every age group. Weeks after the wedding, guests were still calling our parents and saying how amazing the JK Band was and that they had never danced so much at any other wedding. We have been to over twenty weddings in the last three years and even though we are a bit biased this band stood alone at the top. AMAZING! That is what our guests are still saying about the JK Band. The band was recommended to us through the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers (our wedding venue). After watching their demo and meeting with Joel, we knew our best bet would be to have JK play our wedding day! Every single person in this group is beyond talented. Joel and the JK band made my wedding an excellent experience for everybody who attended. Not only did my friends rave about the music, but my parents friends were raving about the band also. A week before the wedding I asked Joel if he could learn a song that my father wanted to dance with me for the father/daughter dance. It was a song they did not know, but they learned it and my father said it was the best version of the song he ever heard. I gave them a few songs that were important to us when i met with them and Joel said "We'll take care of the rest. This is what we do." And they did it. The dance floor was packed all night. The J.K. Band performed at our wedding at Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, NY. From the moment we were introduced until the final song they had everyone dancing and having a great time. The selection of songs was perfect for our guests and they did an excellent job of weaving in our personal favorites at just the right moments (they even learned a song for us the week before the wedding). The energy was tremendous all afternoon and we got many comments about how amazing the band sounded. The J.K. band made our wedding day so memorable! We highly recommend them.

The JK Band was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding! After enjoying them at my sister's wedding 8 years ago, I knew we had to have them play at ours too! Everyone is still raving about the music and how amazing it was. Joel was so enjoyable to work with leading up to our wedding day - he was quick to respond to emails, recommended the right number of musicians for our budget, and had a call with us the week before the wedding to go over all of our music choices, introductions, etc. He made some recommendations about the timing of the first dance, father/daughter dance, etc. that worked really well to keep the event flowing smoothly. The dance floor was PACKED the ENTIRE night, there wasn't one song they played that people didn't love, and their versions of everything were amazing. My husband's brother sang our first dance song and Joel was quick to accommodate that - they did a run through of the song before the reception and made sure it all worked perfectly. We can't say enough good things about the JK Band - they will be the best decision you can make about your reception too!

We chose JK Entertainment because they did such an amazing job at my sister's wedding. We didn't need to look at any other bands because we knew they would do such a great job. People were dancing the entire time and they played a mix of music- pop, r & b and rock. I highly recommend them for any occasion.

JK Entertainment was one of the best bands I have heard at a wedding; I am not just saying this because I was the bride. The band was outstanding and the party lasted all night. There was never a moment where any one of the guests would sit down; people stayed out on the dance floor until they had to eat or grab a drink. the band knew exactly how to read the crowd, and if there was any question the band leader would come and find you to make sure you are okay with the choice of songs or if you wanted any other songs played. Some of the singers would even come out onto the dance floor and sing and interact with the crowed...there were even a few times where it was almost karaoke like but wasn't. The band leader was a extremely helpful person and he actually made the wedding process a bit easier since he knew exactly what I wanted, and they best part was that if you wanted any specific song/songs played that they didn't know they would take the time to learn those songs. I would recommend this band to anyone who wants their guests to have a great time and who wants to party all night!!

Joel Krantz and his band blew it out of the ballpark! I had previewed a few bands before ultimatley booking the JK Band and I was not disappointed. He came highly recommended by family friends who they had seen him perform at other weddings, so I knew I would not be let down. Joel was completely professional and really worked with our music style and selection. He was extremely accomadating when it came to ceremony, cocktail, and reception music. Once the reception started it was hard to sit down. He kept all my guests dancing the entire time. Our first dance song was incredible and he was an amazing MC. All my friends/family keep raving about how good they were and they couldn't believe it was a band playing the music and not the actual artist! He played an amazing versitle selection of funk, 70's, 80's, and top 40's. He even through in a tribute to whitney houston and donna summer - which I didn't request but was amazing and got all the guests dancing! They really knew how to keep the people dancing the entire time. Even my wedding coordinator and photographer said they'd never seen such a lively sunday day wedding EVER! I owe much of that to the JK Band. They Rock!

I recently attended a wedding where the JK band played. I was very impressed by the energy and variety of music played. I generally like to dance to a "DJ' when at a function...but the JK band completely changed my mind! They provided non stop entertainment. I do not think the bride and groom left the dance floor all night! I wish that I had used this band for my wedding many years ago! I would highly recommend their services. I can promise that you will not be disappointed!

The JK Band absolutley blew us and all of our guests away. If you are looking for a high engery, incredibly talented, professional band to play your wedding, DO NOT LOOK FURTHER; seriously, don't. We first heard Joel Kranz and the JK Band at a friends wedding four years ago. We knew at that moment that this was the band we needed for our wedding. They were the first vendor we booked once we got engaged and they surely did not dissapoint. In the 3 days since our wedding, every single person we have spoken with commented about how great the band was. The engery and talent level of all band members was far beyond our wildest expectations. Wire to wire energy- the banquet hall had to turn the lights on 20 minnutes after our wedding was over just to get people off the dance floor and stop demanding more from the band. Joel and the band will work with you to tailor the music to your liking and will learn special songs just for your event. Writing this review is a bit difficult because it really is tough to put in to words how truly incredible this band is. If you want your wedding day/night to be memorable, just know that having the right band will truly make the day. JK Band is the only way to go. THANK YOU!!!!

JK Entertainment was absolutely amazing at our wedding! Joel, the band leader, was so helpful and professional throughout our entire wedding planning process. He was much more accommodating than other bands we looked into (Joel even came to our apartment twice to meet with us). There is such talent in the band itself--the singers are unbelievable. They played everything we requested and so much more. It truly was a party to remember! My husband and I highly recommend them.

My daughter and then fiance decided on JK Entertainment after they were recommended. They met with Joel and were very comfortable with him. After viewing a CD of them, they loved the group. They had my husband and me listen, and we also thought they were quite good. My daughter booked them and dealt with Joel. I met Joel for the first time at the wedding. He and the band were AMAZING!!! From the background music during the ceremony and the cocktail hour through the affair, people can't stop calling and raving about them. They had everyone dancing the entire night. There was never a lull during the evening. They played what my daughter and husband had talked to them about and they were very easy to work with. My son is getting married in a few months, and unfortunately, the band was booked for that date. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who wants to have a swinging affair!

Our wedding was everything we could have imagined. The night was perfect, and everything we wanted and more. We couldn't have done it without the JK Band! The party was really a PARTY!! The band sang with such passion and soul. Our friends had an amazing time and still weeks later keep raving about the band. We could feel the powerful energy in the room the entire night. We have never been to a wedding where everyone danced until the lights came on, truly a testament to how fun it was. We thought that the JK Band sang the songs better than the singers who sing them. Joel really listened to what my husband and I wanted. We gave them a list of songs that we did not want played, and they didn't play one of them. The music was a perfect mixture of new songs and older songs, Joel made sure that the songs reflected our style. You guys seriously rock.

Joel and the Band just rocked our wedding. They learned 4 or 5 new songs for us and just slayed everyone on them. At least 100 people came up to me and said how awesome the band was. They just made the party. The most difficult thing with them was trying to get our guests off of the dance floor

One Word....AMAZING ! Our friends can't stop talking about this band. We hired JK after hearing awesome things about the way the band works the crowd. As good as we thought they would be, they were even better. The harmonies gave me goose bumps. The horns section was tight. I asked them to learn "25 or 6 to 4" and it sounded like Chicago was in the house. The difference maker was the way that the singers interacted with the guests on the dance floor. If you are looking for a band that will pack the dance floor and make you're wedding talked about for years, these are the guys.

The JK Band performed at our wedding this weekend, and they truly made our night PERFECT! Rozz performed Adele's One & Only for our first dance - it brought tears to all our eyes :) Throughout the night, Joel and his band kept all our guests out of their seats and incredibly happy. JK Entertainment is absolutely unbelievable, and I would not recommend any other band for a wedding. I literally cannot express how much everyone (from all ages) raved about this band. To this day, two months after our wedding, we still get emails and calls saying how great the band was. One friend even said, “I can’t wait to get married so I can have JK Entertainment as my band”. JK Entertainment played last week at my daughter's wedding and all my guests are still talking about the great sound and the the mix of selections; I've made other formal affairs but my far Joel and his fellow musiciians with singers were the hottest and best band; everyone was dancing for hours; and dealing with Joel was simple, easy, and a pleasure; if you are looking for a great band who plays to all audiences, look no further; I guarantee JK Entertainment will exceed your expectations.

The JK Band was AWESOME! They completely understood the tone we wanted for our wedding, which was a PARTY! The dance floor never ever cleared. The song selection was amazing and they did every song really well. They understood how to keep the older crowd groovin while still providing awesome entertainment for our friends. I really couldn't have been more pleased, they were exactly what we wanted and exceeded all of our expectations. AMAZING...seriously, don't pass these guys up! Book Early!!

The JK Band was amazing at our wedding. They EVERYONE dancing all night. From the moment that the ballroom was opened until 2 AM when the wedding ended people were on their feet. The JK Band learned new popular songs just for us for our special day and they sounded AMAZING. The band leader is very easy to get in touch with and extremely easy going. Throughout the entire night of the wedding everyone kept asking me for the name of the band and kept commenting how amazing they were! 100% recommend the band for ANY event!

The JK Band was absolutely fantastic! I first met Joel and the band at a wedding in 2008. They were unbelievable and had guests of all ages on their feet the entire night. So when my husband (former Saxophone player and Acapella singer- he knows his music) and I began planning our 2010 wedding we knew without a doubt that Joel and the JK Band HAD to be there. Next came the hard decision of setting a wedding date....... please believe me when I tell you we booked our wedding date around the band's availability. Almost a 1.5 yrs later people are still talking about the music at our wedding. We have been fortunate enough to see them perform at 3 different weddings and although I didn't think it was even possible, they just keep getting better each time. JK Entertainment is the way to go!!

Our wedding was fabulous and we all had a wonderful time. We wished the night would never end and the music would go on forever. Joel personalized our wedding and was extremely receptive to anything that we needed.

JK Entertainment was awesome! They learned our first dance song and played it exactly like it is on the record, and then surprised me (the groom) with a terrific rendition of "Thriller." Joel was communicative and responsive the whole way through. I definitely plan on hiring these guys for my second marriage, and my wife feels the same way.

When we first met with the JK Band we expressed our desire for our guests to be out on the dance floor all night and boy did they deliver! Their diverse selection of music kept the floor completely packed all night and now, 7 weeks since our wedding, our guests are still raving about the band. They sounded unbelievable and learned our wedding and cake cutting songs for us. Our suggestion is to stay away from providing them with a song list, which is what we did, and let them do what they do best.

JK Entertainment is an UNBELIEVABLE wedding band! People did not leave the dance floor the entire evening and it was so packed at times not everyone could fit! They played all of our requests and then some, and managed to keep our party going from the moment the evening began until the event was over! I would absolutely recommend them and think they are the best wedding band out there. Their renditions are perfect, they have a great song repertoire and they are extremely talented!

If you want non-stop, dance till you drop music....you MUST get Joel and the JK Band for your wedding/special event. Their attention to detail for personalizing music for my daughter's wedding at East Wind in May 2009 was unbelievable. He has the most fantastic singers, sax players, drummers, etc. that every guest who attended wanted to know how I discovered such a hot band. You will NOT be disappointed by hiring them....your only regret....sore feet the next day!!! BUT SOOOO WORTH IT.

And being musicians ourselves, we couldn't have asked for a more talented band! They were absolutely everything we were hoping for and more.
