DUMBO Loft Wedding 4/6/13 We hired JPO Concepts for our wedding at the DUMBO Loft and we can confidently say our wedding turned out perfectly thanks to them. From the first day we contacted them, they were very professional, yet very easy to work with. They took our budget and ideas for the wedding and turned it into an event we never thought could be possible. We worked primarily with Helah and Katelyn, both of whom were extremely helpful with their fresh ideas, as well as accommodating to all our plans for the wedding. They handled so much of the tedious work of the planning process. We felt like we just gave them our ideas and they somehow did most of the work for us. It felt like we were on autopilot for the process, which alleviated almost all of the stress we had seen other couples go through during their wedding planning. We didn't even expect how good the ceremony and reception turned out to be until we arrived there the day of the wedding. They took two bare empty venues and turned them into something truly very beautiful. Many of our guests commented how pretty the reception looked and couldn't believe the pictures of it before they had done all the decorations. And this was all done on a very reasonable budget. JPO did some kind of crazy magic and blew away everyone's expectations. Most importantly, it was a real pleasure working with Helah, Kaitlyn, and all of their workers. They are all a young, friendly bunch of true professionals, and we had no doubt our wedding was in the right hands. After the wedding, we believe that 90% of the success of a wedding is who you pick for your Officiant, Photographer, and Wedding Planning team. Truly magic, and we have no doubt they are the next big thing. Highly recommended for, most likely, the best wedding planning committee in the New York Region for any type of budget.

We rented the Prince Street Penthouse via JPO Concepts for our reception venue. We loved that it had a roof deck with city views, while offering plenty of indoor space. The kitchen and hardwood floors in the venue are beautiful. The venue isn't like a traditional loft space that is cold; rather, it is very comfortable and warm and there are plenty of couches and tables available. Kaitlyn and PS at JPO Concepts were very responsive to my many questions during the planning process. The venue is also a good value. Highly recommend JPO Concepts and The Prince Street Penthouse.

JPO Concepts are an incredible team of planners - Helah, P.S. and Kaitlyn were so professional and responsive throughout the whole process and really helped to make our big day so special and beautiful! They provided waitstaff for us, and they did an amazing job. They knew exactly how I wanted the tables to be set up and had great recommendations for decor and schedule and everything else! I was pretty clueless to begin with in planning this wedding...and I was planning the event to take place in NYC while living in LA...so JPO really took a HUGE load off my shoulders just from phone calls and emails and 1 single visit! The wedding was beautiful. The venue was stunning - Attic Studios in LIC, NY...and JPO really made it all happen. Thank you!!!

Helah and her team were a complete joy to work with. They helped us figure out the best way to achieve our goals, had great and creative ideas, and most of all were incredibly fun to work with.

We hired Helah as our wedding coordinator and she was wonderful to work with. She was straightforward, organized, accommodating to our needs and schedules and had many suggested ideas and vendors we ended up using. In fact, we have since hired her recommended photographer several times for other occasions. We have only positive feelings when we think about both our wedding planning experience and the wedding day, and much of this is owed to JPO's creativity and professionalism.

I planned my wedding in only 6 weeks and could not have done it without Helah. Thanks to her the entire event was personal, beautiful and went seamlessly. She listened to what I wanted and made it happen quickly. She was an absolute pleasure to work with in every way. I highly recommend using JPO to plan your wedding.

My wife and I highly recommend JPO Concepts. In fact, I've already referred several of our friends to Helah. Not only was she very professional throughout the entire process, she was very accomodative and flexible as well. My wife was living in Canada during the planning process and Helah was always very responsive to phone calls and emails. She was also very accommodative with scheduling meetings with the venue, the caterers and the florist while my wife was in New York, even on short notice. Helah brought us to look at several venues, including Location 05, which we selected. We had given her our vision as wanting a very unique NYC wedding and immediately she shared our same thought process. She was really creative in providing ideas, including allowing us to paint the walls of the loft space however we pleased and giving us full access to the photo studio's props -- which we fully utilized for our cocktail hour. We had our names painted in huge lettering near the main entrance as well as a large Chinese character, 'double happiness', in the dinner reception room to blend in some aspects of a traditional Chinese wedding. It was a great touch, as all of our guests loved the idea. A humorous note to add, apparently during our cocktail hour a fire alarm had gone off, triggered from somewhere in the loft. My wife and I were oblivious to this matter, but there were two firetrucks that arrived on the scene and wanted to send all the firemen upstairs, in the middle of our wedding. Once Helah was aware of the firetrucks and was certain that everything was okay upstairs, she ran downstairs right away and stopped about 15 firemen from rushing upstairs during cocktail hour and instead allowed one fireman to take a quick check to ensure everything was ok. Again, my wife and I were totally oblivious of this until Helah told us about it after the wedding. So a lot of unpredictable things can happen, but Helah's ability to react and handle the situation calmly and quickly made our event go as smoothly as possible -- even if that meant holding back 15 firemen from crashing our wedding. Helah had our wedding catered with Novo Catering and accompanied us to the tasting with Chris, the head chef. The food was delicious and the presentation of it was even better than we envisioned. When selecting the linens, plate settings and chairs, there was a large variety to choose from and the process was very simple as Helah, who accompanied us, organized it so that Chris would be there as well. Our guests raved about the variety and creativeness with the hor d'ouvres as well as the presentation and quality of the dinner reception. All of the guests were raving about how unique, elegant and fun our wedding was. One of my favorite comments of the night was, "This is the second best wedding I've ever been to and I say second best only because my wife might get mad".

If you are looking for a place to hold a small wedding up to 100 guest then this is your place. We wanted something classy yet intamate and that is exactly what we got. Check them out you will be pleased.

The JPO Concepts girls were great the day of our wedding. They did a fabulous job with the decorations at the space. They are efficient at the reception but the waiters were a bit too efficient as they were throwing people's food away as soon as they placed it on a table. And the event planner was not attending to the bride and the groom as much as I wanted to-I didn't get a chance to eat and she agreed she would have food at our table. Overall, it was a good experience, they worked with our budget and were responsive to our emails and calls.
