After watching "SYTTD" for literally years before I became engaged, this was a day I had long been looking forward to. I arrived for my appointment with my favorite in-budget dresses from the Kleinfeld site excited to find my dream dress. This feeling did not last long. My consultant Barbara seemed completely disinterested in what I had to say as soon as I told her my budget (double what the site states is the minimum you should expect to spend) said none of the pictured gowns were in my range (they were)and began bringing in dresses that looked little like the pictures I had supplied. I had to explain THREE times that I DID NOT want a lace dress bc my sister is wearing lace at her wedding & my consultant kept bringing lace detailed gowns! When my aunt tried to ask my consultant for some of the gowns from my pictures she was told that they were generic. I quickly became frustrated as she did not try in the least bit to understand what I wanted but rather try and convince me to like the dresses she brought in, which were beautiful- just not at all me. There was no sense of eagerness or excitement in her demeanor to help me or that would make me feel like I would be happy purchasing my gown at Kleinfelds - my sister received better service at a chain bridal store. The one positive about my appointment was intern Molly who came in to assist Barbara towards the end of my appointment. She tried to help me find a dress that was more my style and actually brought in the first truly "me" gown but it was the last one I had time to try on. If only my actual consultant had listened to me earlier on. I do not live in NY and was very disappointed that I made this trip only to be bitterly disappointed by the level and quality of service we received. It was quite obvious that the service the brides receive on the show is nothing more than bad showmanship & marketing and not at all what one should expect when booking their wedding gown shopping appointment with Kleinfeld Bridal.

Such a magical experience for all brides-to-be! Christiane was my consultant, and she couldn't have been more patient, caring, kind, or interested. I showed Christiane pictures of styles I liked, and she knew just what dresses to show me. Christiane brought me about three dresses at a time and took my thoughts and comments about each dress into consideration to help her pick the next batch of dresses. I was nervous that my budget would be too low for me to find my perfect dress, but Christiane altogether pulled about a dozen beautiful dresses for me to try on! I was never asked if I would be willing to go above my price range. Christiane never made me feel rushed or pressured at all throughout my appointment. All in all, Christiane helped make my experience at Kleinfeld so amazing! Brides-to-be...GO to Kleinfeld and request Christiane. You won't be sorry!

My consultant disappeared half way during my appointment (which is short and goes by fast!) and I had to rely on the intern helping me. In fact, my aunt and two bridesmaids had to go in the back to search for gowns b/c the consultant was nowhere to be found. The show made this store "too big for its britches." The front desk attendant was also too busy to smile and welcome us to the store. If I'm going to spend $10,000 in two hours I'd at least appreciate some customer service. My business was much more appreciated at my hometown gown shops and I regret purchasing my gown through Kleinfeld.

I had the best experience at Kleinfeld. Diane was able to help me find the dress of my dreams! She also helped me pick out the perfect accessories. Stella in alterations was also extremely helpful and detail-oriented. She made sure my dress was absolutely perfect before I took it home.

When I started my dress search, Kleinfeld was my first stop & I found the dress that I fell in love with on my first visit (it was the 5th dress I tried on). The best part about looking for a dress at Kleinfeld is their unbelievable selection to choose from. The downside was the chaotic atmosphere when trying on the various dresses, which was due to the number of brides with appointments at the same time that the film crew was getting ready to film the show for the day (to note: the show is filmed in the store every day, although I'm not sure about Saturdays). The shining star of my experience was my seamstress, Ellie. She was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, creative - an absolute pleasure to work with!! She always had a smile on her face, was ready to listen to any concerns from myself or my mom, and at my final fitting she created the look for me that I had always dreamt of. If you have the opportunity to request a specific fitter, Ellie is my definite recommendation!!!

WOW is all I can say! From start to finish Kleinfeld made this the easiest part of all of my planning. I went in with one idea in mind and Jenny helped me find something that I loved even more than I ever thought possible - we knew we had picked a winner and it was only the 4th dress I tried on! Mariella in alterations made my dress truly flawless and took her time to make sure that everything was absolutely perfect. This is the ONLY place you'll need to go when picking out your dress!

I love the show and decided to make the treck out from Boston to New York City. It was the best decision I made! The staff was friendly and attentive. The only issues we had were in the financial department when they messed up on the balance for my dress. We had to mail out our check several times until they finally gave us a correct amount due. Also, in the alteration department when I went for my second fitting they took my dress in too much. Which meant that I would have to go back again two weeks before my wedding to pick it up. I didn't want this to happen and complained to the head seamstress. She fixed the problem within the hour and it was solved. Overall, I would do it all over again, despite the minor issues. I was a breath taking bride, thanks to Kleinfeld Bridal! Ronnie also sent me a personal e-mail after I got married which was very sweet! A way to know that they do pay attention to all their hundreds of brides that come and go.

While I was completely happy with the final look and fit of my dress, it took a long time to get there. When I purchased my sweat heart neck line strapless dress, I was assured by the saleswoman that the neckline would be tastefully modest. But when I came 6 months later to try on the dress in my size, the neckline was uncomfortably low. For two appointments, I kept explaining to the tailor about the problem and she kept telling me there was nothing she could do because that was the dress's design. At my final appointment (a week before my wedding), when I conveyed my feelings again about the issue, only then did she tell me that there was an option to add fabric to the top of my dress to make the neckline a bit higher. At the same time, she told me that she wished I had said something earlier...which was ridiculous because that's the only comment I ever said about the dress. They asked me to come two days before the wedding to try it on with the modified neckline and it still wasn't done properly. I was popping out! So I had to come back four hours later to pick it up. FINALLY...it was what I had envisioned, but not without a lot of hassle and stress.

I somehow had in my head that the Kleinfeld's experience would be stressful, impersonal, and out-of-budget; still, how could I *not* go there to try on wedding dresses? I should not have worried one bit. I went to Kleinfeld's on a busy Saturday afternoon with twice as many guests as Kleinfeld's allows (oops); they graciously squeezed me and my entourage into the showroom anyway. Then Jill and I had our consultation. I told her that I wanted tulle; she determined that, by "tulle," I meant organza. I told her that I wanted an A-line; she determined that, by "A-line," I meant ball gown. I 'fessed up about my (fairly modest) budget; she came back with The Dress, the cost of which was only half of my budget. (Meaning that, even after alterations and a veil, I remained within budget.) Mariella from the Alterations Department was equally helpful. She turned The Dress into My Dress, down to sewing a belt onto it so that I wouldn't have to deal with a pesky sash. She was also unfazed when I requested a fourth fitting (even though I really only needed three). I was also able to store the dress at Kleinfeld's from purchase until the day of the wedding, which was great, because it would have gotten wrinkled (and in the way) at home. Finally, for brides choosing between Kleinfeld's and certain other bridal shops in NYC--even if you find a dress that you like elsewhere, you will likely not receive even half the level of customer of service that Kleinfeld's provides. You may not mind when you're buying the dress, but you will definitely mind when it's time to have the dress altered/pressed. Kleinfeld's bends over backwards for its brides; other places just sew you into a dress and send you home. Forewarned is forearmed.

I was very happy with my experience at Kleinfelds. My sales associate was very sweet, did not rush me and listened to me and what I was looking for. I was nervous about my gown and they allowed for me to come in multiple times to try it on again to satisfy my anxieties. On my wedding day, I could not have been any happier with how my dress looked! Kleinfeld's truly offers the widest selection for picky brides and I highly recommend it! They are very responsive, understanding and accommodating.

I had an amazing experience with Kleinfeld! I live in FL and searched for my dress at about 10 different bridal salons with no luck, I then was in NY and decided to got o Kleinfeld and it was the first dress I put on! I flew back for the rush alterations and everything was smooth and perfect thanks to Stella!

I had an absolutely amazing experience here. I know I had several friends say they did not have a very magical experience when they went to try on dresses, so I think it does have a lot to do with your sales consultant. I requested Keasha when I made the appointment (she no longer works there), and I feel so lucky to have had her. In the typical obnoxious style, I came with my mom, my grandmother, two aunts, and two maids of honor. The group was never a problem. We went over our allotted time for the appointment, and that was never a problem either. Everyone was super friendly and Keasha went above and beyond and you could tell she was really excited about finding the right dress for me. I ended up with a dress that wasn't even on the list of dresses to try on, and I could not have loved a dress more. It was a "trunk show" day, and I even had a hand sketch of the dress by the designer. The dress and the experience was more perfect than I could have imagined. It was worth every penny. I went back and forth about whether or not to get my alterations there as well. I am so glad I ended up going for it. I bought my dress really early, so by the time alterations came, it was a bit tight and I was more than a bit stressed. I'm sure there are other places in NYC that could have taken care of it, but I knew for sure that kleinfelds would make it perfect and they did. The fitter was so sweet and did everything she could to ease my concerns. They packed it up when it was done and shipped it for me (I had a destination wedding). The whole process was so smooth.

They were so great. Judith was my consultant and she was the best! I got an email after i bought the dress with the home phone number of the owners in car i had any trouble. They said i could call them until midnight. Amazing service and they answered my emails promptly. Very happy with my dress and the service!

I love my dress so much that I got from them. They did an amazing job with my fittings. Their staff is so professional and they treat you so well. It was worth every penny. I truely felt so beautiful on our big day and everyone loved it!!!

So, I ended up getting a Monique Lhullier dress here and I loved it. It fit perfectly on the day. They made a custom jacket to go with it that is incredible. However, I got really frustrated that I had to call and initiate every single appointment- I'm pretty sure if I had never called, my dress would be sitting there still. I also had to call and confirm for all of the alterations, and it is REALLY hard to get ahold of anyone in the department. I would leave messages and no one would call me back. While the dress was an average price, with all of the hassle in getting to NYC and dealing with their alterations department, I would have gotten it at a shop closer to home. Also, leave plenty of time for your final fitting! Especially if you are shipping your dress! I got married in the dead of winter and it seemed like it took forever. They were, however, very flexible and let me do appts on Saturdays only, I think alot of that had to do with getting married in the off season. Also, if you get your veil here, be careful! They attached it to the comb the wrong way and my sister had to tear it out of my hair right before walking down the aisle to have the blusher the right way. Overall, they were good, but I honestly expected more.

To be honest, I went to Kleinfeld more for the "experience" never expecting to find my dress. Well of course I found the dress that I LOVED, and the designer was exclusive to Kleinfeld. My dress and everything about it was amazing, the staff, not so much. Kleinfeld is like a factory. You don't get the personal experience that you are really looking for. My budget was on the lower end, although the "lower end" at Kleinfeld is still a lot! I'm sure they give more attention to people spending 10s of thousands of dollars, which to me just isn't right. All and all I am glad that I got my dress there as I loved the dress, the experience just wasn't wonderful.

DJ Serg entertainment was awesome. They made my wedding rock! DJ Serg was great on the turntables. Mixing, scratching everything from dance music to hip hop. And even made sure he directed some disco to the older crowd. I want to thank him and his fine staff for making for my wedding memorable. I would recommend DJ SERG entertainment to anyone who want their wedding to be Awesome!!! Love them .. Thank you

I went here, excited to have a say yes to the dress experience! What I got was a "search through the entire store yourself" experience. When I arrived, there was where for my guests to sit, so all five of us and two consultant were in a small dressing room. I had a binder full of the types of wedding dresses I was interested in trying, but after I told the consultants my budget they said "That'snot going to happen." Instead of pulling dresses with similar styles to mine in my budget, they just had me go into the stock room. I had to pull all my own dresses, which really isnt very efficient since I do not know what they have in stock. I happened to walk by adress hanging on a rack in a hallway that I really liked, and ended up getting. I only got it because I couldnt find it anywhere else, otherwise I would have walked right out of the store. I do not live in New York, so I had to take time off work and travel there, so it was a big disappointment in the way I was treated. Everything is very over priced there as well, including all the accessories and dresses. Maria, however, was wonderful! She was the seamstress who did all my alterations. I highly recommend her. I also purchased a very expensive pair of earrings, that broke as I was putting them in my ears on my wedding day. They were unwearable. I contacted Kleinfeld the week after the wedding and asked for a refund as I was sold a defective product. They told me they would send me a new pair- a week after my wedding, when I no longer needed them. You can find much better value else where, do not be lured in by their TV show.

Kleinfeld was a dream. Each person I worked with through the process was incredibly knowledgeable. I had a very clear idea of what I wanted, and I found my dress out of the 4 she brought in for me. I had to change my shipping address, and each time I called they were extremely helpful on the phone. My seamstress was amazing! I loved going to my fittings and working with her. I love my gown and I loved my Kleinfeld experience.

The moment my hubby proposed I thought to myself \"wow\" and then I realized that I had to find the perfect dress! I never thought of myself as a bridezilla but, I had my mind set to an specific kind of dress that I\'ve always wanted, the moment I saw it I knew it was for me. I just have to say: thanks, it was truly a beautiful wedding and my dress looked as I always wanted it to be. \r\n\r\n

I loved working with Kleinfeld. I found my dream dress with the help of my sales person. She was amazing and wasn't pushy at all. My alterations woman Ana was outstanding. I had 3 fittings and she listened to every thing I wanted at each of them. Kleinfeld's definitely provides you with a great overall experience. The only downside is they are a little pricey but are more than willing to give you a discount.

Kleinfelds is so much more than the TV show! I bought my first dress from Priscilla of Boston. Then she went out of business and I had to find another wedding dress. I decided to go with Kleinfelds because I knew a few people who had great experiences with them. They were absolutely wonderful! Everything about the experience was great. Their staff is very professional. You never have to worry about anything. I was supposed to pick up my dress 2 days after hurricane sandy. When I arrived to pick up my dress I was nervous because I knew they had no power in that section of New York. The owner was there to great me with security and flashlights to ensure that I got the correct dress on time. It was truly an amazing experience going to Kleinfleds and I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

I purchased my Alita Graham wedding dress from Kleinfeld Bridal on September 24, 2011 for my October 27, 2012 wedding. My dress arrived in mid August 2012. I had all my alterations done at Kleinfelds. My fitter was Ramona and she was absolutely fabulous. The dress fit perfectly and I couldn't imagine finding a more beautiful gown for my wedding. I received so many compliments on my dress and felt absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. Overall I had an amazing experience at Kleinfelds.

I made the mistake of buying a wedding dress in Virginia Beach knowing that it wasn’t quite the one. I flew to New York and with the help of Jenny, we were able to find the perfect Dennis Basso gown for my big day! Even though my wedding was in less the 4 months, they were able to pull it all off and shipped the dress out of state with plenty of time for alterations. I even had a last minute fiasco with my seamstress out of state (she lost my belt 5 days before my wedding day) and Ronnie was able to have it shipped without a problem. THANK YOU TO THE ENTIRE STAFF for your professionalism and for making the dress process a memorable one. I greatly appreciate it 

It was worth the 9 hour drive!! I am from Ohio and I wasn't happy with the dress selections in my area. Kleinfeld was like a candy shop for dresses! I am in love with my dress!!

Wouldn’t dream of getting my dress anywhere other than Kleinfeld!! Exceptional selection, top quality service in every aspect – from the selection to the fitting! I was at first hesitant to make an appointment with Kleinfeld – I had thought due to the popularity of the show, I would be rushed in and out and be treated like a number. Boy, did they prove me wrong! I worked with Jessica, who never rushed me once – even as we went WAY over my allotted time for the selection. It actually turned out that I fell in love with the first dress I put on. Jessica told me to take my time and to still try on other similar gowns as well as other styles to make sure this was ‘the one.’ She took the time to make me feel like a special bride! We worked with Stella on the fitting and she was equally amazing. I had lost about 12 pounds since I purchased the gown, so it had to be taken in a lot. She took the time at each appointment to keep nipping and tucking until it fit me perfectly! I had a complex bustle, and she worked with my mother and my sister to make sure they would know how to do it. I felt beautiful on my wedding day in that gown – like it was made for me! After it was tailored, the staff packs the gown so it holds the shape – I think my photographer had said he never saw a gown with that much packing! I felt safe having my gown in Kleinfeld’s hands, because I knew it would be perfect. No bad things to say about Kleinfeld Bridal. Friendly and professional staff, amazing selection of gowns and quality service! I would trust my wedding gown in the hands of no other salon!

I had the most amazing time finding my dress at Kleinfeld's Bridal! It's was a perfect day! Met the designer Henry Roth who hand picked several dresses for me to try on (one of which ended up being THE DRESS). And to top it all of off I met Randy! AMAZING DAY! AMAZING DRESS! PERFECT DAY!

Very helpful staff, very knowledgable; alterations were simple, quick & correct! Dress held up beautifully and was within my budget. The TV show does the place no justice, it was a completely AMAZING EXPERIENCE>

I wouldn't have dreamed about getting my wedding dress anywhere else except for here. My bridal consultant keasha was amazing. She knew just what I wanted and my dress came in 1500 dollars under budget. Great experience.

My experience at Kleinfeld was top notch and the most amazing experience ever!!! I would suggest all brides go for the Kleinfeld experience! From my first appointment, to my fittings, to my veil and accessories appointment everything was PERFECT! My Pnina Tornai dress made me feel elegant and sexy and like a princess on my wedding day! I received so many compliments on my dress, veil, and shoes! I even got my shoes at Kleinfeld! My blingy Benjamin Adams shoes were to die for! The customer service and professionalism at Kleinfeld is just amazing. They really know how to make a bride feel not only like a bride but like she is the only bride in the world! I also highly recommend Ellie in alterations! She was by my side every step of the way to get my dress just perfect...even on my wedding day! Thank you Kleinfeld, Pnina, and Ellie!! Love!

It is unfortunate that I find myself having to write this commentary regarding a very unpleasant trip to Kleinfeld this past Sunday ( October 30, 2011) in search for the perfect wedding dress. Having been a fan of the show Say Yes to the Dress for a while and having heard stories of wonderful and memorable experiences from my friends who shopped at the store for their wedding gowns, I was looking forward to the “magical experience” of shopping at Kleinfeld. I came prepared, having shopped at a couple of stores in the past month. I told my consultant, Judith, the silhouette i was looking for; showed her pictures of dresses i liked; pointed out that it is not the brand i am in search of, but rather the style of the dress in the pictures. Judith said she got a very good idea of what type of dress i was looking for and can think of a few dresses to try on. I told Judith i wanted to start with a practical budget of $2,000-3,000, but pointed out that if i saw something i liked, the price range could be expanded. Along with me came my future mother-in-law, future sister-in-law, my mom and my sister, all huge fans of the aforementioned TV show. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were all very excited for the experience to come. The appointment started and ended in less than 30 minutes (15 minutes to be exact), with me rushing out of the store mortified and in tears. The only 4 dresses I managed to try on during my very short appointment were the ones that my sister and I pulled, with no help from the consultant. When Judith offered us to accompany her to the stock room, I didn’t realize we would have to do her job, pulling the dresses, while she briskly walked through the row of gowns, pointing out how “we cannot afford” pretty much every dress in that room. What happened to less insulting expressions such as “over your budget” or “not in the price range you have specified”? She told us that unfortunately, the truth was that Kleinfeld has a “very limited” selection of gowns in our price range and that we may have better luck if we came back for blow-out sale. She continued to repeat that multiple times throughout the appointment. A strange comment considering that on their website, it is clearly stated that special-order gowns start at $1,500 and up. Our starting budget was double that. In addition, while trying on the dresses, consultant pointed out more than once, that she couldn’t zip up the dress on me because I “was not a sample size”. I am size 4 in non-wedding gown clothing!!! What was even more humiliating, was that instead of trying to accommodate store’s customer by inserting extra piece of material to cover the bare back, a simple and very commonly used technique, Judith let me walk out of the dressing room with my back exposed, trying to hold up the dress while listening to my family’s comments, in front of all the other brides, consultants and others walking around the store. Kleinfeld’s website and a very nice welcoming email we received prior to our appointment states that bride should “expect the most extensive selection of designer bridal gowns anywhere in the country. Expect an intimate experience as you work one–on–one with your own professional bridal consultant in a private room. We will listen closely to your wishes and dreams, and together we will find the perfect gown for you. Our professional bridal consultants understand your individuality – with listening ears, a keen sense of style, and a vision of perfection – they will guide you to your perfect gown…limited only by your imagination”. It is extremely upsetting to acknowledge that not only did i not receive the intimate experience with a very professional bridal consultant, the experience did not even come close to being decent. It appeared that consultant did not listen to a word I was saying; she did not accommodate me one bit, even after my sister asked Judith, very politely, to perhaps try and go to the stock room to see if she can find at least one dress out of the hundreds available that I can try on (I don’t consider dresses we pulled ourselves as an effort on the part of the consultant). A girl can only take so much, and after trying on dress #4, and hearing, again, that Judith is “unable to zip up the dress”, I have had enough. I did not want to make a scene at the store and to humiliate myself and my family or to ruin the experience for other brides; I was unable to contain my disappointment and rushed out of the store in tears. On our way out consultant, still blissfully unaware of the distress she has caused, even if not purposefully, but noticing the tears, told me “to feel better”. … Unacceptable, disappointing and overall regrettable experience which none of us expected nor want to remember. One can only hope that this message will help to ensure that no other bride will have to go through such an upsetting experience ever again at your store.

They were awesome!! I walked in and bought a dress while working with Jessica. I was a size 16 dress when I bought it. When I went in for my first fitting I was a size 6, I lost 50 pounds in the 6 months that it took to order and make the dress. Maria was my seamstress. She was the best person I could have ever asked for. She remembered me throughout the entire process. She completely remade my dress. On my wedding day, it fit perfectly and was exactly what I wanted!

Kleinfeld is known for their abundance of dresses and five star quality. That is exactly what you get when you become a Kleinfeld bride. From the first visit, to my very last fitting I was treated so kindly. Everyone is friendly and extremely accommodating to your needs. They respect your budget and never push you into buying something you don't want. My fitter was named Anna, and she was the cutest little thing. The entire staff makes you feel like a bride every step of the way, all the way down to the emails about preserving your gown. Knowing that your dress is checked over multiple times for imperfections before they hand it over to you, left me feeling confident that my dress would look its best. I could go on and on about how amazing the Kleinfeld team is, but I won't. If you're able to get to NYC, make yourself an appointment. Honestly it's the best!

To all full figured women, Please do not go to Kleinfeld thinking they have fashion forward dresses in larger sizes. I am a 16/18 and was treated like a second class citizen. I wanted a fashion forward dress in a material other than satin. Camille brought in two dresses and then sent me to a small back room to look through the plus sized dresses. The dresses were old fashioned and dowdy. The dresses were also so worn that part were fraying and I was told to use my imagination. The total appointment lasted 20 minutes. Now for the good news; full figured brides need to go to Curvaceous Couture in Columbia MD. A store made for the curvier bride. You are treated great! I tried on about 15-18 dresses most of which were actually too big for me and they have all the newest styles. Fly into Baltimore and Columbia is right around the corner. Do not believe the HYPE about KLEINFELD, you will be disappointed.

I used Kleinfeld for my dress, veil, earrings, and belt. I was so happy from start to finish! They brought dresses that matched the style I wanted and what they thought would look good for my body type. Mariella did my fittings, and she was a true professional. She made the dress fit like a glove, and I felt so comfortable and beautiful on my wedding day!

I wasn't on the show, and I only brought my mum with me to pick out my wedding dress. I'd been to Priscilla of Boston to try on dresses - and then here. Paula was my consultant, with a college intern. They listened to what I liked and didn't like, stayed within my price range, and literally kept bringing in dress after dress that matched my budget and my description. Paula said she would try to get me into as many dresses as possible, and she kept her promise! And when I didn't like a dress - out the door it went!! I couldn't have been happier with the experience. And I found a dress at the very very end of the appointment. Simply amazing. And as for alterations - I had Anna helping me out for each and every appointment and she deserves a HUGE thank you for getting the dress to fit like a glove.

Dress shopping was awesome, they know what they're doing! Getting in touch with alterations can be difficult, but once you do they are helpful.

After visiting numerous dress shops and trying on over 30 dresses, Kleinfeld and their talented "Bride Whisperer" Debbie helped me find my dress. I work in designer fashion and was looking for that twist on traditional. After looking at numerous photos, Debbie pulled dresses--some which I brought photos of and then a few she thought would work. One of her suggestion dresses was the one I chose. I literally love my dress and was so happy with my experience. The Alterations department was also amazing--the dress fit like a glove the day of the wedding. I highly recommend visiting Kleinfeld to find your dream dress.

I went to basically every bridal store in nyc and started my search in August 2011. I tried on every style of dress there is. Fit-n-Flare, mermaids, ball gowns, drop waists...everything! I wanted to make sure I didn't rule out anything. You never know what a dress really looks like until you put it on. I also went by myself sometimes, with my maid of honor and with my mom for a final decision. I suggest going by yourself at least once so everyone's opinion's doesn't cloud your mind. I originally fell in love with all Pronovias dresses, but the sales lady turned me off by being too pushy . I would still wear one of their dresses in a heartbeat but I ended up falling in love with Kleinfeld. When I went to Kleinfeld they were so nice and I felt like a princess. I had Paula helping me and she was like a personal shopper. She brought in all the dresses I requested. When I put on my dress I got chills and one of my bridesmaids cried. Then they put the veil on me and I was done. Strangers in the store were like "that's the one, you look gorgeous!" Lol, but I just couldn't buy the dress without my mom there. So I went for another appointment with my Mom. She loved it and I actually did say "Yes to the Dress". Lol, they had me in the room where they filmed the show since it's the biggest room and my mom is in a wheel chair. So they wanted her to be comfortable too. I ordered my dress in October 2011 and got a message from Kleinfeld that it was ready by late June 2012. So yes ladies, order your dress right after you get the venue. Months after I ordered I started feeling like maybe I got the wrong dress. Like dress anxiety or something. Ha, probably because you try on so many beautiful dresses it's hard to choose just one. But I knew I made the right choice when I saw it again in alterations. Alterations were pretty easy as well. I had lost some weight so they took it in and showed me which bustle I can do. I LOVED my dress. I only needed two alterations appointments instea

I LOVED LOVED LOVED my dress from Kleinfelds. Your experience is absolutely driven by the person that you have helping you. The first time I went, the saleswoman did not really seem to think she could find anything nice in my price range ($3000-$3500) so she did not show me anything I really liked. I ended up selecting a dress I hated and was really upset about it. I did my research and wanted to come back to specifically work with Sarah. She was FANTASTIC. She showed me dresses that were contemporary and stylish that did not break the bank and fit in my price range. We thankfully walked out with the dress of my dreams. The woman who helped me in alterations was a sweetheart and was not pressuring at all (Janet). I'd recommend Kleinfelds for the experience but would just say to be careful with who you end up helping you.

Terrible service after you make your purchase. I would communicate via email to get answers and the emails were very unprofessional and i just didnt get the impression that they wanted to help. I wouldnt have changed my pruchase because the desginer i wanted is exclusive to Kleinfelds but i wouldnt rush back there with hopes of good customer service.

I found them to be snotty and hard to work with. I would have preferred to choose my own dresses to try on as opposed to them bringing me the ones they wanted. I would not buy my dress here.

Buying my wedding dress at Kleinfeld's was one of the most amazing experiences of my wedding! On the day that we went to look at dresses, Paula was my sales consultant. She was the most patient, thoughtful, knowledgeable person and she was so easy to work with. Paula listened to what I wanted (or thought I did), never pressured me, and brought amazing dresses for me to try on. My parents came with me and Paula was so respectful of them, and of their wishes. She made the experience perfect for all of us. Kleinfeld's made me feel important and valued. When I found my dress, everyone there was genuinely happy for me. And the alterations process was very easy. Sara was my alterations expert and she was terrific. She knew exactly what to do to make the dress perfect. And the alterations department was amazing. They made my dress look like it was made for me. And at the final fitting, Mara was there to make sure I'd had the best experience and that my dress was perfect! On my wedding day, I had the most beautiful dress thanks to Kleinfeld's and I felt like a princess!

I knew I wanted a Pnina Tornai dress so I made my appointment while her trunk show was going on. I honestly had the best experience at Kleinfeld’s. I worked with Keasha who was beyond amazing! She’s really in tune with her brides and won’t stop looking until she finds the perfect dress for you. The dress I wound up purchasing was the last one I tried on and Keasha was asking around for it my entire appointment (another bride had it) but it basically fit the description I gave her. She stayed within my budget and wouldn’t even let me near dresses that weren’t within it. I know some girls say that they felt rushed when they went to Kleinfeld’s but I definitely didn’t. My appointment was at 9:30 and I didn’t leave til almost 12! Pnina was actually there that day and came over and said hello. She also personally measured me herself. The only thing I didn’t like is that while I did not once feel pressured to buy my dress that day, I did feel a little pressured to purchase my veil & tiara. This had nothing to do with Keasha though… as soon as the girls in the accessories department hear that you purchased your dress, they run over with veils and headpieces for you to try on. Purchasing a dress is overwhelming as it is… don’t even think about looking for veils and tiaras that day (regardless of what store you purchase your dress at)… make a different appointment and come back. As for my alterations, I worked with Ellie who was beyond amazing! From the moment I walked into her dressing room, she treated me as though she had known me her entire life. She listened to my requests re.: my alterations & the end result was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better seamstress.

I was nervous during my first appointment but as soon as I walked in, the staff at Kleinfeld made me feel very comfortable. The store is very high class and can be very intimidating but the staff does not make you feel out of place. They were very patient and very professional. From choosing my dress to final pick up was an easy stress free experience. I highly recommend using Kleinfeld Bridal!!!

Kleinfeld's has a great selection of wedding gowns but even better than the selection is the fabulous service. I hate to shop and my bridal consultant, Renee, was amazing at helping me find a dress that fit my body type and my budget. She was knowledgeable about the various designers and was incredibly accomodating when I decided to come back to try on the dress for a second time before making my final decision. I was thrilled with the Alita Graham dress I decided on and I also purchased both a belt and veil from Kleinfelds. Galina did an amazing job with alterations and despite hearing that scheduling fittings could be difficult I had absolutely no issues getting Saturday or evening appointments during the busy summer season. Thanks to Kleinfeld for helping me feel fabulous on my big day!

I can't believe I ended up getting my dress here, but they do have more options than anyone else in the city and they happened to have exactly what I wanted. Despite the popularity of "Say Yes to the Dress" this place hasn't become disgustingly over-shopped. They still provide a high level of customer service and quality and treat all their customers with respect. You get what you pay for. And Ines who did my alterations did such an amazing job! I was only slightly disappointed at my initial appointment that even though I had my mom, my sister, and my pregnant sister-in law with me, we were all stuffed into a pretty cramped dressing room, and they didn't offer me a robe to put on between dresses so I was stuck standing naked and freezing in front of all of them in the fitting room while we were waiting for the woman to return with more dresses to try. A small hitch in the end really.

Bought my wedding dress here. Augusta Jones was the designer. Bought it at a trunk show. They picked out dresses for me to try that were exactly what I was looking for and the alterations were perfect!!!

After briefly explaining my personality, venue, and dress vision to my consultant Jenny, she walked over to a sample straight off of the runway, which had arrived with Lazaro for his trunk show. It wasn't exactly what I had in mind, but an hour and a half later I tried it on, and was speechless. It was perfect. Lazaro came in to see me in his gown. As a surprise, he drew a sketch of me in his gown and signed the sketch. Jenny had selected the perfect dress for me, and my fitter, Ellie, made the dress look as if it was designed just for my body. Married women told me that it was the most beautiful gown they had ever seen. Whether or not all of those people meant it, I will never know, but I truly felt beautiful in it, which is what matters. I felt like a million dollars in my gown and have Kleinfeld, Lazaro, Jenny, and Ellie to thank for that.

There was one problem after another with Kleinfeld bridal. Starting from the beginning, they forgot to order my dress -- yes, they actually forgot to order my dress -- imagine how awful that would be if you had to choose a new dress after thinking you found your dream dress because they no longer had your dress. I ended up with a beautiful Lazaro gown, but again, there was still one bad thing after another starting with the factory-like atmosphere of Kleinfeld. At Kleinfeld bridal, you are not treated like you are anything but a widget. The personal service you think you will get when you first walk in is NOT the reality after you select your dress and put down your first payment. From that point on, you are an anonymous person. I had multiple appointments cancelled or start ridiculously late (not helpful when you have to leave work to rush over between meetings). My dress took 5 fittings because my sewer just could not get it right and they finally ended up calling in a senior seamstress to take over. It's just not worth it. There are amazing places in NYC -- go to a boutique, go to a department store, but honestly, Kleinfeld is just not worth the hype.

Last summer I went to Kleinfeld to try on dresses for the first time! I brought pictures of 5 dresses that I found on the Kleinfeld website and loved. When I had the dresses on I only liked 1 of them and felt very discouraged!!! Sarah, my consultant, asked me to show her a picture of our wedding venue. Literally, as soon as I showed it to her, she said she had a dress in mind and would be right back. She walked out with this gorgeous, stunning, sparkly Alita Graham A-line strapless dress and as soon as I put it on I started to cry and never wanted to take it off!!!!! We ordered the dress and 7 weeks before the wedding I had my first fitting with Galina! Galina is the sweetest woman and I had a total of 4 fittings to make sure that the dress was just perfect! Love Kleinfeld and they will give a 12.5% discount too.

It was a very overwhelming experience. They tried to stay within my budget, but its the accessories that get you! However, I loved my dress! Everyone was very nice, especially my seamstress. She was very nice and altered my dress perfectly!

I had a major wedding nightmare when it came to my dress. Of course, being from New Jersey, I had to go to Kleinfeld for my wedding dress. The sales lady was wonderful, and I bought the first dress I tried on there. It wasn't until my first fitting that the nightmare happened. I had received my dress box in the mail, which you aren't allowed to open. I hauled the dress all the way to the city, brought my best friend, and was ready to see how it looked. After waiting for 45 minutes, we were finally lead to our fitting room. My seamstress unzipped the gown, and asked is this your dress?, I said YES, wait, NO! They had the wrong dress. I think I turned five shades of white. Two hours later, I was told that they were able to locate my dress and that the dress maker and incorrectly tagged it. So, I had to come back the following week for my second, first fitting. I did receive 10% off my total, which didn't hurt, but I still felt it was soooo traumatic, they should have done more. Overall, the place is gorgeous, now that I am married, I am glad I got my dress, their seamstresses work very hard to achieve perfection, but not $600 worth!

I went to Kleinfeld after looking in several different bridal boutiques and trying on dresses only to narrow down the type/ style I wanted but I was not able to find “the one” dress that I loved. I went to Kleinfeld one time several months before with one of my best friends who was getting married at that time and I remember how great the experience was with Audrey so I asked to work with Audrey too for my special day -- so happy I did. Audrey was excellent. She brought out a few styles to get a sense of what I liked about each and was able to take it from there and bring out a series of dresses until I tried on the one dress I knew instantly I wanted to wear on my wedding day.  She kept us laughing and made the process such a nice experience – it was easy. I ended up getting alterations at Kleinfeld too (with Eleanor). The alterations are done via 3 dress fitting appointments and Eleanor had an eye for detail and really made sure my dress fit perfectly and that the lace and detail of the dress were all without any defect. I enjoyed going with my mom to see Eleanor. My bridal gown selection and the alterations were stress free. I would highly recommend Kleinfeld. Despite the size of the salon itself, you truly get to work with professionals who I felt really did listen to what I wanted, kept to budget and were consistently helpful and pleasant to work with. Thank you Audrey and Eleanor.

What can I say, I bought the dress of my dreams and received great service in the process. Thank you guys so much for making me feel and look like a bride.

Kleinfeld's is top notch. I got my Anne Barge dress from them and it was perfect. The seamstress was amazing and made my dress fit perfectly. I asked for my initials to be included in my dress at the last minute and they went out of their way to make it possible. Great place, highly recommend.

Having grown up in the NYC area and known several people who had bought their dress at Kleinfeld, I was under the impression that this was going to be cookie-cutter, generic dress central... And I was expecting the rushed wedding-factory kind of vibe. I was SO wrong... I went to 5 other shops in Manhattan before going to Kleinfeld, and I can honestly say this was BY FAR the best experience I had. It helped that I had tried on other dresses and knew roughly was I was looking for silhouette-wise (just because they have so many dresses to narrow down from), but they were just so professional about everything... When I first arrived, it was pretty overwhelming since a ton of people were waiting in the lobby, but every staff member I spoke to was extremely nice and knew exactly who their assigned bride was - and it was the ONLY shop that did NOT ask me to fill out all my information when I checked in (we already do that just to make the appointment in the first place!). I had Lisa as my consultant... I cannot begin to describe how awesome she was. Her dressing room was personalized and inviting (she calls it the zen room), she listened to everything I asked for and only brought me dresses within my modest budget. They had some dresses I did not see anywhere else, and while I was trying them on in the bigger mirror area, Joan from the show was walking around to EVERY bride there to introduce herself and talk about their upcoming wedding. When I got to a point when I was waffling between 2 dresses, Lisa patiently had me try both back on a few times until I was ready to make a decision - well into 40 minutes past the end of my appointment. She also offered us a discount on the veil that matched my dress (which I have to say, was pretty pricey, but gorgeous and unique). The alterations department charges a flat fee that is pretty on par with the other 5 places I went to in NYC, and I ended up needing 4 fittings and can honestly say it was worth every penny I paid to do the alterations there. Anna did my alterations and she was very pleasant, detail-oriented, patient, and just great to work with. She made me feel very at ease and I trusted her completely! Vera was also there checking on EVERY bride, and there is just a sense of calm about the place whenever you visit - which is great for an otherwise stressful planning process. I'm even getting my gown preserved there since they guarantee it against yellowing/deteriorating for 25 years. Go to Kleinfeld if you can, you really won't be sorry.

With the huge selection of dresses that Kleinfeld has to offer, every bride is sure to find the perfect gown. My consultant, even after looking at my pictures, was pulling the wrong gowns for me. When she realized I wasn't feeling her selections, she allowed me to go back into the stockroom where I found my perfect dress! Lucky for me, they were having a sale on the particular designer's dresses. When I realized the dress would still be a bit above my original budget, they were kind enough to hold that price for me for a few days until I could confirm with my fiance who was paying for the dress since he was out of the country for business. Also, they really know what they're doing with regard to fit. Have no fear that your dress will end up looking exactly how you imagine! For those expecting the "Say Yes to the Dress" experience, be warned that it wasn't exactly as warm and fuzzy as it appears on tv, and it really depends on which consultant you get. Overall, I can't complain because I found the dress of my dreams!

Kleinfeld was a dream to work with! From my first appointment where I chose my dress through the last fitting, everything was easy to deal with. I ended up buying the first dress I tried on and never looked back! I scheduled a Sunday appointment to look at accessories. Upstairs (where the headpieces were kept) was open, and they even brought my dress out to try headpieces on with! Downstairs, where the necklaces, earrings, etc was was closed on Sundays, but they brought me down there anyway. I loved their options and bought all of my jewelry there! Fittings were a bit hard to schedule and I ended up taking a day off of work for one, but they went very well. Janet knew exactly how to alter my dress, and I couldn't ask for a better fitting dress! I was very impressed with the quality of the Kleinfeld brand and would recommend it to everyone!

Kleinfeld's was wonderful!! From the time I chose my dress, to the time I was fitted. Everyone was wonderful. My ladies in alterations: Rosalia and Stella were awesome! The wait for alterations was a little long, but what can you do:) Kleinfeld's shipped my dress all the way to California and it arrived on time and in great condition. I will be using their preservation services and sending my dress back to get cleaned up!! Wonderful service all around!

I had a great experience finding my wedding dress at Kleinfeld. Jacqueline sat us in one of the dressing rooms for a brief consultation. She then took us to the stock room, which is just as overwhelming as it looks on TV. We were pulling a few dresses from off the showroom floor together when Jacqueline gestured toward a gown that was simply glowing. The whole experience was totally surreal. I tried on some of the lukewarm dresses, Jacqueline instantly knowing what worked and what didn’t. Finally, she put THE dress on me. It was the first one that solicited tears. I even saw mom brush away a tear or two, though she probably won’t admit it. Joan met me back in the dressing room to measure me, and that was that. She was so kind and personable, and I am so grateful to Kleinfeld for giving me such a dreamy experience. Having alterations done at Kleinfeld, however convenient, is extremely costly and a bit frustrating. Expect to spend $700++ for standard alterations. They will charge you for any customizations, right down to having bra cups sewn in. With all their success and especially after spending so much money on the dress and veil, you would think they wouldn't nickel and dime their customers like that.

I was recently married on July 6th and wore a gown from Kleinfeld Bridal in NY. Thanks to Kleinfeld, what I thought was going to be a stressful part of the wedding turned out to be one of the most enjoyable experiences. I was able to find a beautiful Henry Roth gown that had the vintage elegance I was looking for. I loved that the gown came in champagne, and that I seemed to have so many different options with Kleinfeld. I tend to be busty, so I thought the fittings were going to be stressful, but Kleinfeld tailored the dress perfectly to my body with minimal stress. I was pleasantly surprised by this experience and would recommend Kleinfeld to any brides-to-be!

Kleinfeld's was the best dress shopping experience! They were so accommodating! You are only allowed 5 guests with you, but they let my 7 person entourage in! They didn't give me a hard time when I wanted to try every style on!!! They made the process fun and joyful. I would go there again and again! I loved how everyone enjoyed my excitement when I found my dress! They even worked with me when my dress was above my budget! This was a perfect experience, wish I could relive the year of planning again!

What can I say about the Kleinfeld's experience? It was amazing!! Keisha was our consultant, and we also had an intern helping us out as well and I think my mom cried when we found out we had Keisha. She was so fun and helpful. When I tried on the Amsale dress (Lauren), I had a feeling it was the one - but we went back to another one I had liked before and I knew Amsale was the one! I loved that it had a different looking neckline. A friend of mine told me it looked like a napkin when I showed her a picture, but Angelina Jolie wore a dress with the same neckline to the Oscars this passed year! I was ahead of tread. I got a belt and veil to go with it at Kleinfelds. I also had my fittings and alterations at Kleinfelds. I had Mariella as my seamstress, and Vera helped as well - which made my parents happy!!! Nothing but great things to say about the whole experience.

Love the show, expected more from the store. Was not in any way happy with the customer service or professionalism of the team. Yes they will probably have your dress but no they will not make you feel special or at all important. That is not what it is about and I am SO glad I found better.

Kleinfelds has the best selection of wedding dresses. While the service can be a little rushed and pushy, if you have some kind of idea of what you want, definitely go here. You won't find a selection of beautiful dresses anywhere else.

I bought my dress in October for a June wedding. Sarah was my bridal consultant. We spent a few minutes talking about what I thought I wanted in a dress, my likes and my dislikes. She brought out a wide variety of dresses until I found my PERFECT, DREAM DRESS! Sarah wanted me to try on many dresses to ensure that I knew it was the one when it was the one...and boy did I know! Sarah did not pressure me into buying the dress or accessories that day. But, after falling in love, I left the store having purchased my dress, veil and a belt! I ended up doing hair accessories at a later date (one of my fittings). I felt that I had great service at Kleinfeld Bridal! The entire experience was wonderful. I had shopped at many other NYC bridal stores prior to my Kleinfeld appointment and no other store had the staff as eager to please and friendly as Kleinfeld. When my dress came in (March), I had about 5-6 fittings with Elenor. Elenor is a pro! She is so detailed oriented and made sure every bead, pearl and stitch on the dress was perfect! Kleinfeld is a wonderful boutique and I would definitely recommend any NYC bride make a trip there to find their dream dress!

AFTER A BRIDAL GOWN NIGHTMARE, THEY WERE VERY CARING AND OPENED THEIR ARMS TO MY DAUGHTER AND SAVED HER FROM A HORRIFIC EXPERIENCE FROM A SHOP ELSEWHERE. IN FIVE WEEKS THEY HAD AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING DESIGNER GOWN, HEADPIECE AND VEIL IN HER HANDS BY THE FIRST WEEK IN JUNE. KLEINFELD YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!

Kleinfeld was everything I dreamed it would be. The staff is so supportive and help find the dress that makes a bride feel amazing. I went in wanting something completely different than what I actually fell in love with. The alterations were easy and the dress came out perfect. My husband was amazed when he saw me. Kleinfeld is worth every penny for the experience and the dress of a lifetime.

I was pleasantly surprised by my Kleinfeld experience. Considering what a big company they are, they did a great job at making me feel like more than just a number. After I chose my dress, I got an email from Ronnie and Mara (the owners) saying I could contact them any time- even call them at home! I figured it was just a mass message, but a nice touch nonetheless. And my consultant (Renee) had asked me to send her a picture from the wedding. Well I couldn't find her address, so last night I sent a message to Ronnie and Mara- and within hours had a personal reply. It's definitely a huge store and a whirlwind experience, but my dress was gorgeous and the alterations were perfect. A bit of a hassle to have to get into the city 3 times for fittings, but that's not their fault!

From start to finish everything was perfect! I scheduled my first appointment July 2011. My consultant, Christiane, was amazing! She took the time to figure out what style dress I was looking for, and was able to keep the vocal ladies I had brought with me in check, as she stayed true to whatever I said, rather than the comments from everyone I had brought with me. This was really helpful, since there were sometimes when I felt differently, and it was easier to have Christiane handle it than me (to avoid hurt feelings, etc.). We ran over time, and I was happy that I never felt rushed. I decided to schedule a second appointment. At the second appointment, the second dress I tried on, I knew it was my dress .. but my sister hadn't yet gotten there and I didn't want to say "yes to the dress" without her being there. Christiane was very understanding and said that we could just sit and wait - and we did for like an hour! In the meantime, I met the owners and Randy - no one rushed me at all. They all very nice and talked with my family. As soon as my sister arrived, she loved the dress, and the search was over! I had the dress shipped to me in NJ to avoid the sales tax, and the process with the shipping was very easy. All of my alteration appointments went very smoothly. I would go to Kleinfelds for the dress selection alone. Whatever you can imagine, they definitely have it or if they don't, they can probably alter a dress to be exactly the way you want it. My dress was Pnina Tornai. It was a fitted satin ballgown. I really wanted lace details on my dress. When I first put the dress on, I mentioned this to Christiane and she went to get the rep for Pnina Tornai. She was able to work with me in deciding where they could accent the dress with lace. In the end I LOVED my dress. I received so many compliments, and most of all, my husband absolutely loved my dress.

I had a wonderful wedding gown experience, start to finish, at Kleinfeld. The staff is excellent. My try-on consultant, Judith, was so knowledgeable and picked out the most perfect wedding gown for me. Inez was the seamstress I worked with in alterations. She was very competent and so nice. While pricey, you really feel that you are getting your money's worth there and that your gown is in the safest hands. The store also has excellent accessories and shoes.

I had a fantastic experience at Kleinfeld Bridal (despite all the hoopla created by the show.) I found a gorgeous dress there that fit me perfectly and looked like a dream on the day of the wedding. Customer service was always helpful when I called, and responded quickly when I emailed. The seamstress I worked was also super efficient and friendly. Really felt well-taken care of, which went a long way. The only thing that I didn't love was how much alterations cost -- very steep. All in all, though, I'm so glad I bought my dress there and hope to wear it again when my husband and I renew our vows in a few years!

I had a wonderful experience with Kleinfeld bridal. I had visited many other bridal stores before going to Kleinfeld and I really enjoyed my experience there. They accommodated my relatively large group (6 ppl) and respected my price range when showing me gowns. I selected a beautiful gown and they helped me select a perfect veil to match. My dress came in on time and it was easy to get an alteration appointment. My seamstress was Marina and she was great. Very nice and definitely knows her stuff. At my first fitting the veil we ordered came in incorrect- Marina quickly got the headpiece manager and they made arrangements to have it fixed. At my second fitting my veil was fixed and everything went smoothly. I had one more fitting after that and then they pressed and packed up my dress to take home the same day. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Kleinfeld had a huge variety of dresses and was very accommodating when I went back 3 times to find my perfect dress! The staff is so warm and personable that I felt like they were friends by the time my journey with them was over. I had a great experience there!

I had the honor and pleasure to work with Diane, Randy and Pnina at Kleinfeld. I made a trip from DC to NYC to find my perfect dress and I did just that. They made this experience among the most memorable ones that I had during my 2 year engagement process. I was very particular with what I was looking for - I wanted the dress to be unique and I wanted it to be a light pink. Diane made the pull and I found my perfect dress - however it still wasn't pink. That's when I had the opportunity to work with the amazing Jenn Popevic to find the perfect pink hue. I sent her nail polishes and ribbons and she'd send me swatches of pink in different saturations until I found the ONE. Decided to go to one of the sample blow-out sales just to look - it was sometime in June/July 2011. Found my wedding dress in less than an hour! It was a beautiful lace, vintage looking dress but because it's a sample, there are holes and tears. Kleinfeld had a tailor on site that day, and after evaluating the holes/damages, she said she could fix them for about $500. I ended up buying the dress for about 70% off - and despite the need to get it fitted/cleaned/fixed, I think it's worth it! (I couldn't have afforded it otherwise - and probably wouldn't have gone into kleinfeld to look at all if it wasn't for the sale) It's a sample sale, so of course you won't get to see everything and there'll probably be a few crazy ladies frantically searching for "the one" - but I was pretty impressed by how organized the dresses were and how professional the staff were - after you go into the sample room - you get to browse around with around 10-20 other women and then choose 5 dresses to try on at a time. Once you got your five - you grab one of the staff who will accompany you to the fitting room and help you try on the dresses. My lady was super helpful and not pushy, which was something that I hate and was worried about (just cuz it's kleinfeld and it's sample), and she actually made sure that I could get my dress fixed before I bought it. just a side note - bring pics of dresses you like with you - so the staff can help you locate dresses that are similar - i looked at dresses for a few hours at work before going - just to have a sense of what i might fall in love with. You cannot take pictures of the dress when you try them on (store policy) - so bring one or two trusted people with you. also - having to make the decision of "is this the one?" may be harder than deciding whether to say yes to the man/woman you are marrying - so if your staff is pushy or annoying, just be sure to tell her to chill out and let you look at yourself in the mirror for as long as you need in order to make the decision.

I said YES TO MY DRESS at Kleinfeld. My consultant Jillian took one look at me and knew what dress I would pick but it hadn't come back from dry cleaning yet. We tried on others and she really worked with my budget and let me try on a bunch of different styles and each dress I tried on was better than the last. But once I put MY dress on I was sold. I fell in love. Alterations was a breeze with Maria who is amazing and I have no words for how gorgeous I felt once everything was done. Save yourself the time and trouble and just come to the best.

My experience at Kleinfeld was absolutely worth it and amazing! I'm a plus size bride and had felt a bit discouraged dress shopping at other boutiques and stores. There is nothing worse than going wedding dress shopping and not being able to try on the beautiful dresses. I had heard so many great things about Kleinfelds and decided to book an appointment to try on dresses and I'm oh-so-glad that I did!! I felt like a kid in a candy store when my consultant, Ingrid, brought me back to the dress room! I was absolutely thrilled to be at a store that had so many non-matronly options for the plus size bride and to be able to try on the gowns. I felt beautiful and sexy in so many of the styles they had in the store. Everyone was phenominal from start to finish! My mother and father came with me to my initial appointment and we all had such a wonderful experience! I walked out the store that day with my wedding dress (it was the first one that I tried on!!). Throughout the whole process they were very responsive and answered any questions I may have had along the way. My mother and I spent the most time with Ramona, who did the alterations on my dress. She was AMAZING!! She was so sweet, patient and funny! I was even greeted by the owner of Kleinfeld who stopped in to see how everything was going. Customer service doesn't get any better than that! Kleinfeld truely helped make my dress shopping experience such a memorable one! I highly highly recommend Kleinfeld to any bride who is looking for an amazing wedding dress experience from beginning to end!

I tried on over 50 dresses, and visited at least a handful of different vendors. Kleinfeld's above all others, GOT my style immediately and sure enough with all their inventory, I wound up finding my dream dress. Great value for the price, and they work with you to make sure your dress fits perfectly. They even sowed my corset the way I needed it for free and I didn't even buy it there! They also preserved my veil, also something I didn't buy there. Overall, Kleinfeld's is truly a woman's paradise!

Great experience overall, but I loooooved my seamstress - my dress was a simple satin mermaid gown without any embellishments, so any hill fitting flaw would have been noticeable, yet Eleanor made it fit me like I was going to the red carpet!! And she was the sweetest, kindest person ever!!

Overall I had a positive experience with Kleinfeld. Their selection of dresses is huge with price ranges from affordable to ridiculously expensive, so there is truly something for everyone. I went for 2 appointments to try dresses on. The first time I worked with Barbara... she was awful and is the reason that the quality of service and professionalism scores are a 4 instead of a 5. She was inattentive and highly distracted to the point that I suspect she was helping another client at the same time. I left with no dress that day. I called and made another appointment and requested not to work with her again and they let me choose who I wanted to work with based on the people shown on Say Yes to the Dress. I worked with Sarah the 2nd time around and she was amazing! She was super friendly and I "said yes to the dress" that day! For alterations I worked with Marina.. she was FABULOUS!! Super nice and made sure that my dress looked great.

I had an appointment at Kleinfelds in September 2011, and knew beforehand that I should have an idea of the type of dress I was looking for. I believe the appointment was only 1 1/2 hours, so it was crucial that I didn't waste time on fabrics or fits I did not like. My consultant was very helpful in finding certain dresses that fit my vision and my budget, and she even had to wrestle a dress back from another consultant who removed it from my room for their client. Eventually my consultant found the dress I ended up buying as well as the crystal belt and veil that matched perfectly. My only complaints about the consultant are: (1) she was unaware that the dress already came with a belt, which I found out a few months after I purchased it. Had I known a belt came with it, I might not have spent an additional $600 on the crystal belt. In the end, it worked out perfectly since I had the seamstress combine the two belts together and (2) the dress was a sheath, but the consultant altered the dress with the clips to make it appear fitted. Fortunately the seamstress was able to adjust the fit. My biggest compliment has to go to the seamstress who worked on my dress. As I noted above, she adjusted the fit of my dress and completely transformed it. Everytime I told her to take it in here, or take it in there, change the neckline to sweetheart.....she was hesitant but she perfected it. I had four fittings and each time the dress looked better. I received so many compliments from friends and family on how well the dress fit. I would recommend Kleinfelds to a friend due to the fact that they have almost every style dress, every designer, every accessory, etc. However, I would strongly recommend knowing the type of dress you're looking for in advance, due to the short timeframe you're allowed.

bought a Jim Hjelm gown from a retailer who had been in business for over 40 years, Kleinfelds. We paid thousands of dollars for a "designer" dress as well as an alteration fee for their tailoring expertise. We expected first quality designer item and ended up with a dress whose zipper broke 30 seconds after putting on the dress. I had my last fitting where the seamstress had a hard time zippering the dress. I asked her if there was an issue with the zipper and she said no - assuring us that every thing is perfect and that since the dress is altered to be fitted to the body it was just hard for her to maneuver the zipper since it was a small piece. We picked up the dress which was stuffed with tissue paper and that's how it was transported for the wedding ceremony. The dress was not touched until the time it was put on to where my nightmare watching the zipper come apart began. An hour late to the church and $300 later, I was sewed into my dress by a local cleaners, but cleary could see the uneveness and damage, not to mention the embarassment of showing up an hour late to the church! We paid for alterations at Kleinfelds and expected 1st quality alterations by experienced staff - they were the experts on whom we relied and to whom we paid for their services. I as a consumer expected the dress to be first quality and usable for the occasion for which it was bought. I did not expect trauma on a day which should have been care free and to hassle in locating a tailor to come and sew me into my dress. Kleinfelds offered to pick up the dress, reimburse us for the tailor and to preserve it for me. FOR WHAT?? I need it on my wedding day, not after!! That is not acceptable. We did not get the 1st quality product we paid for and this was a one time only dress, what will I do with it now??!? I am shocked at their lack of response and attitude towards this and the ruining of a day which should have been perfect. I contacted them and it takes them days if not weeks to call me back. I leave messages, nothing. I am now going through my credit card for a full refund. This place is a joke....they only care about their show and the "stars" that work there now....if you want true customer service you are better off with a smaller retailer that will provide you with true customer service and not the run around.

I must admit I was that bride who watched Say Yes to the Dress all the time. So when I got engaged I decided to drive to NY just to get my wedding dress. The store looks a lot different in person than on tv. It is smaller and I didn't feel like they had enough selections of dresses. I do admit that we ran over the appointment time as it took forever to find a dress that I loved. They did allow me to go into the back and select my own dress which was pretty amazing! I finally found it...dress #12! Their customer service was great just be aware that they will push you to buy right away and to buy the accessories. I only bought my dress and had it shipped. The bag that they shipped it in wasn't that durable and they did not provide me with extra beading for my alterations.

I had an amazing experience at Kleinfeld. I left with my PERFECT dress- a Claire Pettibone. I went with my mother and father for my first dress shopping appointment. We were assisted by Paula, who was nothing short of amazing. All the staff that we met were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They brought out many beautiful dresses within my budget and they were even able to give me a little bit of a discount on the dress after a little negotiating. For my 2 fittings, I met with Stella who was a genius and fitted my dress PERFECTLY to my body. I couldn't believe how perfect my dress was. I honestly could not have asked for a better dress experience!

I had a great experience at Kleinfeld Bridal. They had a big selection of plus size wedding dresses and great service. My alterations manager, Ramona, was a delight to work with. She was so accomodating and always made me feel like her only special bride. Overall great experience, value, variety and service!

Great service and they matched the price of a designer gown I had seen elsewhere. Only issue was the alterations. They took too much off the top. Other than that had a great experience.

I had a great experience shopping for my dress and getting my alterations done at Kleinfeld. The atmosphere was fun and exciting and everyone was do helpful.

They really do have the largest selection, but I had to meet with two different consultants. The first consultant was nice, but she didn't have as much knowledge on what was available.

After visiting several local dress shops with no luck, I went to Kleinfeld's in NYC one weekend. I found the dress of my dreams in a Henry Roth gown, and within my budget. The dress was fabulous and I had a great experience at the shop. They did not try to steer me toward something I could not afford and really listened to what I wanted. My only complaint is that I called to check in around the time I thought my dress would be ready. The customer service consultant was very short with me and got snippy. This was uncalled for and totally different than my in-store experience. I also logged a complaint on their site and never heard back. Luckily, I made plans to have alterations done elsewhere, closer to home, so I did not have to return to the store again. But the goal was to look and feel beautiful on my big day, and I definitely did. My mom even said I sparkled. :)

From beginning to end, everyone at Kleinfeld was magnificent! After trying several dresses, I put on the dress that I fell in love with. Everyone was so attentive and adoring - it made my day there even more special. Even the owners came down to talk to me and take some pictures. Akelina, my seamstress, was amazing. Very patient with me and super sweet. The dress ended up fitting me like a glove! Amazing service and a great selection. Love Love Love Kleinfeld!

I went to Kleinfeld to find my dream dress. I actually found two dresses there. Diane found me a dress which I tried on, everyone saw it and cried, I instead got a different dress, and months later realized I wanted the one that everyone cried over. Kleinfeld prices were more reasonable than the boutiques in South Florida and I didn't have to pay shipping since they don't have a Kleinfeld in Florida. Kleinfeld let me use the deposit I put down on the first dress for the second dress. I ended up finding my dream dress there! Love Kleinfeld!

I loved my experience at Kleinfeld. They made me feel very special while dress shopping, Galina was an amazing seamstress (she worked incredibly fast) and they were always quick to respond to my phone calls and emails. One complaint - on my wedding day I had two pins that were somehow left in the dress sticking into my legs.

Nothing short of FABULOUS. I worked with Diane to choose my wedding gown and she was extremely patient! She knew exactly what I was looking for :) Her expertise was great. I worked with Mariella for my alterations and I cried at my last fitting. She was absolutely amazing. If you get your dress from Kleinfelds, ask for Mariella for alterations. :)

I live in NYC and got my dress here, and it was absolutely the best dress on the planet for me, but I wouldn't say it had much to do with the staff. I was basically just let loose in the stock room and on the floor to find my own dress. Maybe the consultant doesn't usually do that, I don't know, but it definitely wasn't what you see on the show where they just know what to bring you. They do have designers and styles that you might not find elsewhere, which is the main draw. Alterations were a nightmare, though. I had to fight with the seamstress at every fitting.

After watching seasons of "Say Yes to the Dress", it was almost a dream walking into Kleinfeld Bridal on October 10, 2011. Not only was it my Birthday, but one of the best days of my life! All the ladies were beyond helpful! They made my visit one I will NEVER forget. I found my wedding dress that day, and my seamstress, Marianna, was PERFECT. Three months later, I married the love of my life wearing the most amazing gown! Thank you Kleinfeld!!

I don't know why they even measure you here, they still just order your dress in a size 2,4,6,8,10..... Etc. I had to have my dress taken in two dress sizes after it came in and had to have more supportive boning as theirs was very flimsy, the kind you would find in a mens collared shirt. Besides that the dress was amazing.

I bought my beautiful dress at Kleinfeld Bridal for my wedding. They were courteous and helpful and always responded to my questions very quickly. However, as everyone knows, they are overpriced and are not the most flexible with their alterations appointments. The dress was gorgeous and came out perfectly though and if I had to do it again I would still chose to get my dress there.

I had made appointments from out of town with four or five dress shops and Kleinfeld happened to be the first on the list. They happened to have one of the dresses I had saved from an ad from a magazine, and it happened to be the first I tried on. I fell in love with it at first sight. Rene helped me find it, picked some other dresses for me, and then let me and my sister go through all of the dresses and pick as many as we liked. As many as I tried on, the first was the one. The service was responsive, professional, and helpful. I was given a discount, which I'm told is pretty standard, and since I live out of state, the dress was shipped to my house so I avoided the clothing tax. This helped me save significantly! Rene was so helpful. I also got my fittings done at Kleinfeld, and because I could only do two fittings, they did all the alterations at once and I picked up my dress soon afterward. They are very flexible and I recommend them- it's best to go late in the afternoon because they are very crowded in the daytime. I've never watched the show and am not interested in the hype- but they are a great store with a wide selection. My dress was a little pricey, but Rene brought me a variety of alternatives of different prices. I just happened to have picked one ahead of time without knowing the cost. I recommend Kleinfeld :)

As a plus size bride, I was worried about what dresses were going to fit me. Kleinfeld has a huge selection of plus size dresses at all price points. The alterations team is amazing and worth the time to go back into the city for your alterations. SO MANY BEAUTIFUL DRESSES. The staff goes above and beyond!!!!

I have wanted to get my wedding dress at Kleinfeld since I was a little girl, back when it was still located in Brooklyn and way before the reality tv show. They have the largest selection of dresses in a variety of price ranges. It is helpful when you go to your consultation if you have pictures of what you are looking for, and you know your budget. I could not have loved my dress more and am only sad that I only got to wear it for a day. I had my alterations done here as well since the entire dress was lace. The seamstresses do impeccable work. You do have to go back for 3 fittings, and then to pick up the dress so make sure it is convenient for you to travel into NYC.

I got my wedding dress at Kleinfeld, and I'm so happy I did. It's definitely put my budget over, but worth every penny. I worked with Sarah and Melissa - both extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very dedicated to finding the perfect dress for a soon-to-be bride! I enjoyed working with them both a great deal. I paid extra to get unlimited fitting, alterations, and pressed and cleaned - again, worth every penny (it also saved me a lot of headache, especially since there really is no time to do anything during the week of the wedding!) My only minor gripe is that their alterations schedule isn't as flexible. But overall, I'm thoroughly and completely satisfied with Kleinfeld's services.

I was nervous about going to Kleinfeld based on reviews I read elsewhere, but given the amount of plus size samples they had in store I couldn't pass it up. Kleinfeld's was my last stop after lots and lots of dresses and other stores. I met Camila, my consultant, armed with my top two dresses and a firm budget. I asked her to beat the dresses I already had and stay in budget and I would be sold. The second dress she showed me was THE dress and came in $800 under budget. I also did all of my alterations at Kleinfeld and could not be happier. My fitter was Marnia and she was amazing and my dress was perfect. I was so happy with every aspect of the process.

Perfect! I was worried that after ordering my dress almost a year in advance that I wouldn't like it when it finally arrived. I had nothing to worry about though. The alterations were perfect and the dress make me look and feel amazing.

After trying on a dozen dresses, I decided to try Kleinfeld for fun. I knew what I liked and didn't like and they pulled a few dresses. The 5th dress was my dress. It was everything I had been looking for. My bridal consultant who sold me the dress was patient and really figured out what I would love. My consultant who fit me each time was amazing. She made my dress fit my body perfectly.

Overall, pleased with Kleinfeld. Had a personal relationship with my designer, Henry Roth and that was amazing!!!!! Also, their alterations department is EXCELLENT!

I went to Kleinfeld Bridal for my wedding dress in October 2010 for my wedding on November 12, 2011. I did not expect to purchase my dress there but after meeting the designer and seeing how amazing her work was (Pnina Tornai), I knew it was a dress I couldn't pass up. The customer service was great and everyone was so nice. I had wound up losing 45 pounds after purchasing the dress so I really had the alterations departments work cut out for them. They reassured me over and over again that everything would be fine and the final product was absolutely perfect! Kleinfeld's helped make my wedding dress dream come true!!!

Overall GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I HATE shopping. But Kleinfeld's made the experience as painless as can be. I told them a budget with a few dress samples printed out. My attendant was great she helped me pick out a dress and was very comfortable to be with. My alterations were done PERFECTLY!! I've seen other bridal gowns and they look cheap. But kleinfeld's alterations FIT the CLIENT!! The day of the wedding I was very satisfied.

Everyone at Kleinfeld is absolutely amazing! I bought my dress in 2009 and my consultant, Nora, was so great. I had two appointments with her, and she helped me try on so many dresses that first time. The second time I went there was for a Melissa Sweet Trunk Show, and the moment I saw my dress I fell in love and I knew it was the one. Finding the dress was such a wonderful experience and Nora helped me find the perfect veil to go with my dress. I was able to meet Randy briefly and he made my day! He is so friendly and such a pleasure to talk to. I made the trek up to New York from Baltimore for three fittings, and while I would never do it again, it was so worth it. The woman who did my alterations was so friendly and patient. She listened to everything I said and gave me advice about things she thought I should change or shouldn't change. Getting the dress home was difficult (the one day in October that snowed just *had* to be the day I was taking my dress home). But we booked an extra ticket for the dress on the ride back on the bus, and that made it so much easier! The payment process was a little difficult, but that was more of a bank issue than a Kleinfeld issue. And they worked with us through the entire process until everything was resolved. My dress and my veil were everything I dreamed of, and I loved every minute of my time at Kleinfeld's.

What can I say about this place...it was worth the many many trips for my fittings!! I love Kleinfeld's!!!! It was everything I expected and more. I was a fan of the show when it came out and I just had to go there for the experience if anything. I didn't think i'd actually get my gown from there but they really really work with you to find what you are looking for in your budget. I had my bride moment in my dress which I didn't think I would have ever! I am in love with my gown and I received so many compliments on it. My fitter who I worked with for a month, Akelina,(hope i'm spelling it right) was just amazing. She was such a sweetheart and made sure that my dress fit me like a glove for the day of my wedding. I can never thank them enough. I'm almost sad I don't have to go there anymore! I may go to them one day for another dress if we renew our vows!!!

I went to Kleinfeld's because I felt like I'd exhausted all of my options in CT where I live, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! They treated me like a princess during my consultation. I showed the consultant a few pictures of styles I liked, and immediatly she knew what dresses to put me in. I fell in love with my dress before I put it on - it was not what I'd expected to wear on my wedding day, it was SO much better! Fittings were easy and my seamstress was so sweet and quick! Overall, I'd say I had the perfect Kleinfeld's experience!

I went to Kleinfelds more because I don't know much about buying wedding dresses and less because I'm interested in "Say Yes to the Dress." I must say, I was very impressed with the dress buying process. My consultant was excellent and understood exactly what I wanted in a dress. I was less impressed, however, with alterations. After paying the standard $600 dollars for alterations, my fitter ensured me that my dress was perfect after 1 fitting (which was more than 2 weeks prior to my wedding). I don't think that I lost weight (at least not intentionally) - but my dress was definitely too big on the day of my wedding, which is not fun when you are constantly trying to not trip over your falling down strapless dress. Luckily my sister rigged it to my bra and not a total disaster. I regret not being more pushy with wanting another fitting the week before the wedding - I think that the store is really busy because of the success of the show and you lose some individual attention because of this.

Kleinfeld had the wedding dress of my dreams and within my price range! The staff is very knowledgeable! It was a bit pricey, however it was an exquisite dress! The alterations are expensive. I just needed the dress hemmed and bustled which I got done for a fraction of the price at a local seamstress.

The day that I found out that my aunt wanted to take me to Kleinfeld's to buy my wedding dress, I cried. I'd been a huge fan of Say Yes to the Dress, but never dreamed I'd actually get to go there. It was an incredible experience that I will never forget; my consultant's name was Jacqueline, and she made me feel like a princess while I was there. There was a trunk show going on for the Austrailian designers Henry and Michelle Roth, so we started looking through their dresses. After I tried on a couple of Henry's dresses, Jacqueline surprised me by bringing the designer himself over to meet me! Each time I tried on a dress, he came back over to see it and give his input. Once I picked my dress, he helped me to pick out a headpiece as well, and took some pictures with me in his dress. It was so surreal, getting to meet the man who created my dream dress. All of my alteration appointments were fantastic, and I was never worried about the quality of work done. I know that Kleinfeld Bridal isn't in everyone's budget (my own included...had my aunt not gifted the dress to me I would never have even dreamed of being able to go there), but for those who can, I wouldn't recommend going anywhere else. It is a business truly run to make dreams come true, and that care and devotion is clear in every facet.

I had seen Kleinfeld's infamous bridal boutique on We's 'Say Yes to the Dress' and was a little apprehensive before heading in. For one thing, we had to use a concierge service my Mom is a member of to attain a last minute appointment in December, 2010 but once in it was worth it. I had been to 2 other boutiques and had like-loved a particular dress, and was a bit bummed they did not carry the line at Kleinfelds but then came in contact with Amsale's designs, which the boutique in my hometown did not carrry- and really fell in love. I know I'd probably end up with an Amsale dress, even if it was made especially for me. We spent almost 2 hours trying on dresses and nothing was striking me as "me". I worked with Diane as my bridal consultant and she was extremely accomodating and kind. It ended up being my youngest sister who brought in " the dress" however. From there on I had the pleasure of speaking with both owners. Ronnie actually offered to come to Palm Beach and help me dress on the day of. He also offered other extremely sweet services to make everything come together. We stood in the main room until well after closing piecing together the rest of my wedding day ensemble. The veil, headpeice and all came together and we were all thrilled. My fittings went exceptionally well and though I had to fly in from Michigan they were able to accomodate my last 2 fittiings in the same weekend. My dress was directly sent to the Ritz Carlton, Palm Beach and looked exquisite and fit like a glove when I took it out of the box. Kleinfeld's selection really can't be beat and don't be surprised if you walk in and meet the designer of the very dress you'll be wearing on your wedding day. They really make the whole "experience" of getting married that much more fun! :)

It's true: going to Kleinfeld's is an experience. I wasn't too keen on getting my dress there because I kind of felt lost in a big wedding factory, but they really do have every dress imaginable and so it's where I found the 'one'. I'd also like to point out that you CAN find a dress that isn't crazy expensive; mine was beautiful and only $1500. My saleswoman was awesome and really knowledgeable, but it took a while for them (her and the dress runners) to find and bring the dresses out. For this reason, I highly recommend knowing exactly what you're looking for before going to make the best use of your time during your appointment. I think I only tried on 3 dresses in an 1.5 hour appointment.

Kleinfeld's was great. The worst thing was choosing between three perfect wedding dresses. I changed my mind a month before the wedding & they let me move my deposit from one dress to the other. Also my seamstress was great & so fast!

5 stars! Kleinfeld's was the first and only shop I visited for my wedding dress. I was convinced in going by my mother who loved the show and I couldn't be happier with her recommendation. Everyone was amazing and the sales associates are even nicer in person than they are in the show. They weren't pushy and listened to exactly what I wanted. The only negative was when I did receive my dress for the first alteration there was a large chiffon flower on the front that was not attached to the dress when I tried it on. Quick fix by removing the flower and all was fine. I went back for 3 alterations and my dress fit like a dream. I couldn't have been happier and I received so many compliments on my dress at the wedding.

I wore a Pnina Tornai dress on my wedding day. My experience at Kleinfeld was a great one. I ordered my dress in May 2010. The woman who helped me that day was Rosaria. She was great at picking out exactly what I wanted. I was a little nervous at first to pick the dress I did because it was very ballroom - big and princess like, I was afraid it might be too flashy and she said no way, from the pictures you gave me of what you're looking for they all look like this one don't be afraid to go big, so I did. Then August of this year the dress was delivered. During my fittings I met with Janet and she was wonderful at hear my feedback as to what felt comfortable for me and what fit right. The dress fit perfectly, everyone has that fear they won't fit into it after all that time of first ordering and getting sized. Everything was perfect. The service at Kleinfeld is also superb. It was a little intimidating being in there with rich girl after rich girl coming in for fittings in Manolo's and Jimmy Choo shoes, but I was not treated any differently than they were. They never forced me to spend more than I wanted to spend and I still got a high end dress. I recommend going during trunk shows as you get a discount and Pnina herself took my measurements.

It's Kleinfelds, they're awesome. Ask for Ingrid. She was fabulous. I'd recommend anyone there regardless of you budget. I had a low, low budget and they totally had the right dress for me.

Kleinfeld's success and reputation is not based on sheer luck. This is an establishment that has worked very hard and know's their clients needs inside and out. My salesperson, Debbie is a gem. All it took was 3 dresses to find the one for me--- that's pretty darn good!!!! Appointments for fittings can be difficult to juggle around work-schedules but you just have to find a way to make it work. Their seamstresses are phenomenal at what they do. My dress was very well altered and fitted very comfortably on me throughout my wedding night. I would definitely recommend Kleinfelds and they really do have dresses for every budget!

I said yes to my dress at Kleinfeld! A gorgeous lace Lazaro a-line sweetheart strapless, purchased during the Lazaro trunk show for a slight discount. It was the first place I went and one of the first few dresses I tried. As long as your budget is $2K+ you'll find a large selection at all price points. TIP: Request a young associate to avoid being paired with one of the yentas you often see on Say Yes to the Dress! The two I worked with were not pushy and listened to everything I wanted.

Our experience at Kleinfelds was not what we hoped for. Our salesgirl was really helpful and very friendly, but my daughter could not make up her mind between two dresses. So, we made another appointment just to see the 2 dresses that she was interested in. Before we left that first appointment, our salesgirl handed us over to another girl who took all the info on the 2 dresses....stock number, price, designer and so on. We were told that when we came back, the 2 dresses would be waiting for us. We were VERY dissapointed on our SECOND visit to Kleinfelds. They didn't even have any paperwork on us. Couldn't find my daughters name or phone number anywhere. We described the 2 dresses and it took about an hour for them to find them. And then, the salesgirl (not our first one) asked my daughter to try on a dress so that another customer could see how it looked. WHAT? My daughter has long dark hair, is 5 foor 9 inches tall with nice curves. The other girl had short blond hair, and was just about 5 feet tall with a little boys figure. HOW could this be helpful ?!?!?!?! Was my daughter there as a model? Anyway, after she did "Say Yes To The Dress" things were a lot easier and smoother from then on. Her dress was perfect and the fittings went by easily. Because of the confusion, the owner emailed me and said that we could get a discount on a head-piece, which no one seemed to know about. Was not the best experience for a bride.

My consultant was Keasha of SYTTD fame! She was amazing. I told Keasha my budget and what I wanted, all lace, not strapless, not pouffy mermaid if possible, v neck or sweetheart neckline. She delivered! The dress was all of those things but even more perfect than I\'d ever imagined. It was the FIRST dress I tried on! I tried on about 5 more at Kleinfeld and then went to two other salons and kept comparing all the dresses to the first one so we went back there before they closed and purchased the dress. My alterations were done by Eleanor who was phenomenal. She took the under layer out of the train like I asked her to so that it was an all lace train, did a three button bustle with hook and eyes, closed the front of the dress a little so it wasn\'t as revealing as it was supposed to be, and put boning in the bodice so it didn\'t wrinkle when I walked. She was so sweet and complimentary and she made the dress fitting process so much fun! I also got my veil from Kleinfeld which they custom made to be my fingertip length (I have long arms) and the color of my dress for only $100! Frank at Kleinfeld Men also did my husband\'s suit which came out AMAZING. He got a navy blue Hugo Boss suit off the rack that they tailored to fit him perfectly, a custom shirt, and a custom vest. He looked SO HOT. We also purchased his textured white tie there. Kleinfeld was super organized, the quality of their products and tailoring is amazing, and their customer service is beyond beyond.

I bought my wedding dress here about 9 months prior to my wedding. I came in with 4 girlfriends and had an excellent experience with my consultant - I loved the way she fit each gown on me to make it look exactly as it would if it were in my size. I was impressed with the selection and the feel of the store, and ended up purchasing a gown I had found in a different store (with my mom) after trying on several dresses I had my eye on. Ronnie Rothstein (co-owner of Kleinfeld's) happened to be in the store that day and was so enthusiastic - especialyl when I said "yes to the dress"! I ended up getting my dress altered in DC to avoid the back-and-forth alterations process, but found the purchasing process to be relatively simple. The dress arrived on time and in perfect condition and was exactly what I wanted. Thank you Kleinfeld's!

Fabulous! Kleinfelds is definetly an experience you will never forget! I went in there not planning to buy a dress and of course I did! I had only been to David's Bridal before that so my advice is, if you want to shop more go to the other stores first :) The sales people at Kleinfelds are amazing and chances are you will find your dress there. The tailor that worked with me was very sweet and patient. I had a minor problem when I went to pick it up and they all worked on it until it was right. Everyone there is really nice and accomodating.

I was obsessed with my Kleinfeld dress - and as I found out, a lot of my wedding guests were too :) I literally heard raves about it the entire wedding day. The staff there was great - really made you feel welcome and made the whole experience wonderful. They aren't cheap, so I did alterations and preservation elsewhere, but it was definitely worth getting my dress there!

I had an amazing experience at Kleinfelds. I avoided the whole "say yes to the dress" simply becasue thats not really my style to be on reality tv. I went there with a dress in mind and decided that I didn't like it in person, without even trying it on. But my sales person (Diane) asked if she could bring me a dress that she invisioned me in. Obviously I said "of course," since she does this for a living. Sure enough, that was my dress. The first one! Without her help, there is no telling how long I would have been searching. Their alterations department is PHENOMENAL. I live in RI and traveled to NYC for each fitting...sounds like a pain, but it was TOTALLY worth it!

My experience at Kleinfeld was above and beyond all of my expectations. It was the first bridal salon I went to and there was no need to go anywhere else. Everyone was so extremely kind and helpful and really goes out of their way to make you feel special and make sure you are totally happy and satisfied with the dress you are going to wear on the most important day of your life. I am sad to say it, but my experience was terrible. From the unenthused cashier who took a personal call during my check out, to the consultant who nearly knocked us out the door at 5:59 on a Friday night, to the fitter who labeled the the sewing team "stupid" when they made the dress way too short and mis-sewed a stich right through the gown at my first fitting such that I couldn't even step into it, to the extra appointments I needed to have in NYC because they neglected to alter the bolero, to the ultimate- the bustle falling apart minutes into my first dance because the three loops were too weak to hold up the train... terrible, and management talks big but don't deliver. I was rushed through the whole process, and clearly they are in the numbers/sale game. I would not recommend Kleinfeld's to anyone. The only bright spot was Nicole, the fitting supervisor who met me during my first appt-- very professional.

My dress was absolutely gorgeous and classic. They were seamless in the process. My one gripe was that I feel like I was rushed, not given enough dresses, and just didn't feel special. I chose this place because I was not sure exactly what I wanted and felt they were around for a while and would know what would work best with me. Instead the first dress they showed me couldn't have been more of what I DIDN'T want! But after 4 dresses only, I found one and it was beautiful.

The dress was spectacular. It made her feel and look like a princess. Since day one they did everything to make my wife the bride feel comfortable and find the right dress for her. ON the day she bought the dress the designer was there and he was glad to meet and take pictures with the bride.

Yup, got my dress at Kleinfeld's! I went in there knowing exactly which dress I wanted, but my consultant wasn't great. I don't think it would've worked out if I hadn't repeated myself and said hey, just get me THIS dress, pleeease? I also had my alterations done there. They did a great job with it, but the first fitting specialist was a crabby lady who was never very polite and didn't agree with anything my mom and I asked to fix. We ended up working with her manager to get the pins and adjustments where we wanted them. Then I was switched to a different fitting specialist, who was SO sweet, but still not very good at her job. The same manager made sure my dress was beautiful. So, the job got done, but not in the most professional manner. Anyway, the dress was amazing and I'm glad I stood up for myself (well actually just that my mom was there?) to get it right!

I bought the tenth and final dress I tried on. They bring ideas for dresses you would never think of and it works! Being in the military and living in Boston, they worked with my schedule to plan appointments on weekends. Ms Eleanor was my seemstress and she helped me out tremendously. On some appointments my mom couldn't be there and she was the motherly figure I needed. The dress fit like a glove. It was definitely pricy but the experience and the outcome of the dress was worth it.

I purchase my wedding gown from Kleinfeld December of 2010. The experience was great, my consultant Josephine was just a delight! She listen to my wants and want-not and helped me choose my dream dress; Kenneth Pool Romantic Gown. I was pleased with service and they even worked in a discount for me. :)

Kleinfeld made me feel like I was the only bride they had something to do for. From my first consultation with Sara, to my fittings and changes in alterations, they provided me with 1st class service. It's hard to feel special when you're one of many brides all looking for the same thing, but they managed to make me feel special. My dress is still being talked about. I had a few changes for the alterations department and added a few things to my dress, but none of that was too much for the awesome women in the alterations department. The experience alone was indescribable.

They carry many designers, maybe all except Vera Wang. Lowest priced dress is ~$1200, so if you are looking for something less, you should go someplace else. Also easier to go to Kleinfeld than going to individual designer showrooms. Flat alteration fee is $595 whether little or a lot adjustment needed. That fee is never mentioned on "Say Yes to the Dress". Don't know if one can take standard-sized dress ordered, when delivered, and use one's own seamtress. Advantage of using their alterations personnel is that they are very experienced, one doesn't have to search for a seamstress, wonder about quality, and security of dress. Disadvantage, besides cost, is travel to NYC if not a fairly local resident. Not having to find a seamstress was a plus to me (MoB). Shipping dress out of state can save hundreds of dollars (~$275 for us). Post-wedding cleaning and preservation is determined by size and bling of the dress; our rather simple dress will be $600. However, one can look at dress after clean/preserve without voiding 25-year warranty. Warranty only voided if dress is worn again. Kleinfeld personnel wonderful, Randy generous, charming, apparently greeting all who buy dress, making each feel special.

Kleinfeld introduced me to the perfect dress. And it was the first one I tried on! I gave a vague description of the kind of dress I was looking for, and next thing I know I'm trying on the perfect dress. It was a little out of my price range, but after trying it on, I knew I had to have it. Thanks Kleinfeld!

I had a wonderful experience working with Kleinfield's. I have always dreamed of getting my wedding dress from Kleinfields and they certainly exceeded all of my expectations. My bridal consultant was Keasha, she was phenomenal. She showed me dresses that were beautiful and that were under my budget. My mother and father and husband all loved my dress. The alterations department also did a spectacular job on my dress. The person in charge of my alterations was Marisa and she made sure my dress fit perfectly on my special day. I highly recommend Kleinfields because they are the best in the bridal industry. I would recommend them to any bride to be.

There's a good reason why the name "Kleinfelds" invokes a feeling of awe, glamour, and good taste. Their dresses are beyond compare, and their customer service, impeccable. Every time I entered the store I felt as though all of the attendants were doting on me. My alteration person, Eleanor, treated me AND my dress with tender loving care. Our salesperson actually extended a few discounts on my dress and veil in order to keep us within budget. Say YES to Kleinfelds.

The staff at Kleinfeld is incredible! They are so attentive and polite - and they know their stuff! I was picking dresses on my top 5 that, upon discussing it with my bridal consultant, were so wrong for my body type. She pulled a few of the dresses I chose (to prove me wrong, HA! and how wrong I was *sigh*) and she pulled two dresses she thought would look good on me. The first dress I tried on was one she recommended for me. Needless to say, it was the dress I bought and wore on my wedding day! I tried on 6 dresses that day, and couldn't believe I went home with the first one. What a stress free wedding dress hunt! Thank you Kleinfeld!

I went to Kleinfeld for the "experience" and ended up finding my dream dress! Shopping for the dress was whirlwind of a day. My consultant was a tad pushy, but that was to be expected. When it came to the fittings, Kleinfelds was more than accommodating. My seamstress was amazing! Overall a great experience!

I absolutely loved the Augusta Jones dress I purchased at Kleinfeld Bridal for my July 22 wedding. Jacqueline was wonderful to work with and helped me find my dream dress. Ines in alterations made sure the dress fit perfectly on my special day. Everyone I encountered at Kleinfeld was kind and professional, I can not thank them enough.

I was a little nervous that a bridal salon with the notariety of "Kleinfeld's" would be a little out of my $2000 budget, but I was wrong! I was treated with the utmost respect and hospitality and walked out with a gorgeous gown! Thanks Audrey for helping me find the perfect dress!

I had a great experience at Kleinfeld - the woman who worked with me understood what I was looking for, and the price range I was willing to pay. She never tried to upsell me, and was honest about what she thought looked good. She made a few suggestions that were not on my original dress list, but never got offended if I didn't like what she brought in to me to try on.

shopping for my wedding dress at kleinfeld's was nothing short of what a bride envisions her wedding dress shopping experience to be like. they are beyond professional from start to finish. my consultant, sara, was so patient with me (i'm pretty picky and had trouble finding my dress) and because of that we found the absolute perfect dress for me. ramona, who did my alterations, is FANTASTIC. she literally fit my dress to my body perfectly and was also very patient throughout the process during a really, really busy time of year. my only complaint is that i had to wait for 30-45 minutes past my appointment time on two occasions during the alterations process. i understand that it's a really busy time of year but it was a liiiittle excessive (and unfortunately unavoidable)

I loved my experience at Kleinfelds. Debbie was my consultant and was unbelievable to work with. She knew exactly what she was doing and found me my dream dress after looking at endless stores. My dress turned out incredible and fit perfectly. My only complaint is that my bustle wasn't labeled correctly and took a long time to bustle and still wasn't correct. Other then that the experience was amazing.

Kleinfeld's is the perfect example of professional service. I could not find my dream dress (Priscilla of Boston gown from the Fall 2010 collection) at the manufacturer's retail stores (which they claimed was runway only) and did not find anything else that I liked, but Kleinfeld's worked with the Priscilla of Boston trunk show reps to have the dress flown in from Boston to my appointment. The dress was the one and they were so pleased that it worked out that I got a free veil and the trunk show discount. My seamstress had her work cut out for her after I lost 40 pounds between ordering the dress and my first fitting, but she worked her magic and made the gown fit like a glove in record time (since the dress came in only one month before the wedding). My mother bought her gown at Kleinfeld's and after my experience there, I understand why the salon has been around for so long.

Kleinfeld Bridal was very good about making sure every detail of my dress was perfect. They helped me put the whole look together nicely by finding a veil and earrings to go along with my dress. Rosalia, my fitter, took her time to make sure the dress looked amazing and everyone took very good care of it! I was surprised to find such a nice dress at Kleinfeld in my budget, but getting alterations at Kleinfeld was expensive.

Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at Kleinfelds as I would have thought. Picking out my dress was find, Keisha was amazing and was able to make that part of the experience memorable. The problem was the alteration department that had no idea what they were doing. Mariella was a doll & was able to fit me in early in the mornings & pin up quickly what needed to be pinned. Its the alteration department that didnt quite understand what the pinning meant & had to go back several times to get it just right. If I didnt wind up knowing someone and having the managers come down to help, I dont know if the dress would have turned out the way it did. Vera was no help & made me feel belittled & like my opinion didnt matter. For that amount of money I spent, I should have been thrilled & happy everytime I went & I wasnt. Luckily, my dream dress turned out to be okay (still little bit of an issue) but I still loved it. Word of advice, always speak up & dont keep your thoughts to yourself. Complain and complain until you get it perfect!!

Kleinfelds were amazing! The sales woman helped me find my dress in my price range almost immediately just from some magazine pictures that I brought in. The drama on "Say yes to the dress" comes from the clients not the sales people. They are truly helpful and can find you the perfect dress. The only problem I had was trying to get a sash for my dress after my appointment. I had a really hard time getting in touch with the sales person, so I recommend getting everything while you are there!

I went to Kleinfeld with my sister just for kicks, but ended up finding my dress there. My sales consultant (Lisa) had me try on an Amsale dress that matched NONE of the criteria I had outlined. But when I tried the dress on, a gaggle of women who were with another bride insisted that the dress was "the one." When I took my mom to see the dress a week later, she agreed. The seamstress I worked with (Elinor) was very friendly and made the dress fit like a glove.

I had an amazing experience with Kleinfeld's in the dress selection and alterations. The only issue I had was when it came time to put my dress on for my wedding there were still pins in the hem where the dress was supposed to be taken up! Thankfully my bridemaids were quick thinkers and fixed everything quickly! Just make sure to check your dress ENTIRELY before leaving the store!

I went to a large bridal chain to search for my dress and found the selection was small and the material was cheap so I decided to go to Kleinfeld’s. They had a really large selection and the dresses were a little more price but I feel in the end it was worth the cost because the quality of the dresses surpassed the bargain chain and the service you get was excellent. I did have an issue when they changed seamstresses’ right before my second to last fitting but they made sure that I was happy with the way the dress looked and received the service I paid for and that they promised me.

I must say that the selection at Kleinfeld beats every single bridal salon I had tried up until that point (which was about six or seven). I was there for more than 3 hours! Granted, this was a weekday, but I never once felt that I was being rushed. From the moment we met Renee, I knew I was in good hands. She respected my price range and made sure I found something within budget. She led my mother and I through tons of dresses in order to get an idea of what I liked or didn’t like about each dress. Most importantly, she shared that they could change most things on most dresses and that gave me the comfort to try on different styles. Dresses are tax-free if you have your dress shipped out of state so I received the dress and brought it back with me to NYC for the alterations. Eleanora in Alterations was also amazing – she was able to alter the dress exactly how they told me they would. The whole experience was professional, warm-hearted and flawless. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Kleinfelds is great - completely reliable (they give you the owner's home phone number, call to check in to see if you have any questions after you've ordered a dress, and make time for a last fitting even when the schedule is jammed. Both my saleswoman (Debbie) and my fitter (Josephine) have worked at Kleinfeld for 20+ years and they were both phenomenal. Debbie listened to me, was honest about what she thought didn't look good, and all of sudden dashed out when she realized she knew "the dress" (which was inside the budget, I should add!)... Wow was she right! Josephine is a goddess. She is amazing at her job not just because she is like a lace surgeon but also because she just makes you feel so comfortable. I was really sad to say goodbye to Josephine after my last fitting. The only downside to Kleinfelds is the random film crew wandering the floors.

I purchased my bridal gown from Kleinfeld Bridal and that was the best decision I could have made. First of all, their selection of dresses is just unmatched anywhere else. I am not a sample size 10 and they had the best selection of larger sized gown samples that I have ever seen and I went to a TON of places to try on dresses. Debbie was great as a bridal consultant. I loved my experience with her. I needed to have the dress pattern altered to allow for more room in the bust area and the changes that they ordered were PERFECT! My biggest praise goes to the alterations department. Kleinfeld is very expensive for alterations; however, it is worth every single penny! My dress was perfect and stunning and fit me better than I ever could have imagined. They had to do quite a bit of work to take in certain areas of the dress and my bussle was elaborate because of multiple layers of different fabric. The finished product could not have been better. My mom, who is a sewer, was totally impressed with their skill. Marina was my fitter and I loved her. She was so sweet and encouraging. She really made the whole fitting process stress free. Although you might spend more at Kleinfeld than other places, it is definitely worth the extra money.

Kleinfeld is your typical wedding vendor who likes to take advantage of the fact that you're a stressed out/desperate bride. I felt rushed when I was trying to choose a dress. The girl who was helping me kept on bringing dresses that were nothing like what I described (I even prepared and brought pictures to help speed up the process). They advertise that they carry a lot of designers, but only have a very limited selection for each designer. I did end up buying a ridiculously expensive dress here, but only because I was running out of time. They're pretty good at responding to emails/phone calls. If I had had more time, I would not have gotten my dress from this place. I feel like I overpaid and could have gotten a better deal and better treatment from another place.

I went to Kleinfeld's to find my perfect dress. I brought my mom and nobody else. What I found when I entered the store was a bunch of loud possible brides that were there just for fun. I was a bit insulted the store would allow such a production, but i guess when you film a production in the store, it should be expected. I would have never bought a gown there, if it wasn't for Pnina. I loved her designs and purchased the perfect gown there. customer service was horrendous and I had to frequently go through Facebook to talk to my consultant who would talk to customer service for me. it was nerve wracking as we wern't sure what would be shipped to the store based on how bad the customer service was. However, we were pleasantly surprised. My dress was a custom design and fit like a glove. I credit the designer far more than the store. If you aren't buying an exclusive, DON'T GO TO KLEINFELDS.

Rosario was amazing. I had gone to a bunch of places before and began to think I was crazy. No one was understanding what I was looking for....which wasn't too difficult. I told Rosario what I wanted, she brought 3 dresses. The first one I saw I immediately new was mine. LOVE LOVE LOVE my dress. Everyone at Klienfelds was amazing.

I got my dress from Kleinfeld's in Manhattan. They have a huge selection of dresses and carry many designer brands. Everything is done very professionally. I loved my dress and felt beautiful in it. My only concern along the way was during my fittings. The dress was strapless and did not fit right, I was so nervous that they dress was going to fall right off of me if I lifted my arms! I was freaking out. It was because the fabric was so thick and, it wasn't moving with my body......we decided I needed a strapless bra and to tighten the top...... then after a few adjustments and fittings, we were able to correct the situation and the dress fit perfectly. So in the end the seamstress did a good job and I was happy....all that really matters I guess! The store can be pretty pricey, but they do have a very large selection. They weren't as flexible with fitting appointment times as I would have liked, being that so close to your wedding you are so busy....but I made it work.

For my wedding i wanted a dress SOTTERO & MIDGLEY Style No: 31988983. I thought it would be a nice dress and easily to walk and dance. But i could not move in that dress. Also, I tried on ROMONA KEVEZA COLLECTION Style No: 32023699 dress, but it was too expensive. Then I tried on HENRY ROTH Style No: 31800782 dress, but again it was from expensive side. So I decided to go with David's Bridal. They have huge selection of dresses and their dresses are less expensive.

I started watching "Say Yes to the Dress" after I got engaged, but I swore I'd never go to Kleinfeld. Based on the show, it seemed they'd be too far above my budget, and that all they had was blinged-out strapless mermaids (despite their claims of having the world's largest selection). I visited other stores (Jaehee in Englewood, N.J., and Designer Loft, Pronovias and RK in NYC), but I didn't find anything I liked. So I changed my mind and set up an appointment with Kleinfeld - maybe I wouldn't find my gown, but at least it would be an interesting experience. I didn't think I'd find success there - but the fact I did probably explains why they're legendary (even if they didn't have their own TV show!). SELECTION My saleswoman was Ingrid, who doesn't do the show. She was honest, attentive and respectful of my budget (under $2,300) and style preferences (I really didn't want strapless, as I'm small-busted, and I wanted to wear an industrial-strength push-up bra with straps underneath). Ingrid took me and my sister into the stockrooms - the large one, which is just as overwhelming as it looks on TV, and a smaller one where they keep the under-$3,000 samples. It was in that room where I pulled the dress that I would say yes to - a 100% silk V-neck A-line by Marisa (a label I'd never heard of before), that cost $1,700. Unfortunately, I didn't see Randy. But I chatted with Keasha in the bathroom. ALTERATIONS Kleinfeld's reputation for alterations is well-deserved, and the $595 they charged me was well worth it. Its cadre of skilled seamstresses means that if the assigned fitter has to take a sudden leave of absence, someone's always there to continue the work. They did a fantastic job with my dress, particularly with shortening the straps and taking in the point of the V (my fitter was stumped, so she called Vera in for guidance). But while they added lingerie straps to secure the bra, I noticed my bra straps did show on my wedding day (I don't know if the snaps may have come undone). It didn't look too garish (the bra was the same color as the dress, thankfully), but it will need to be edited out from any photos where it shows. I also wish their alterations department were open on Sunday or Monday - at the very least, Sundays. CUSTOMER SERVICE They are very difficult to get a hold of, and you'll often get kicked into voicemail ... if you do get through to someone, definitely have your order number handy. I also have the feeling that they don't place the order immediately, but time it so that the dress comes in six weeks to one month before the wedding date. When they ask for your wedding date, give them a date one month before the actual wedding. I also called in to ask them for a fabric swatch, but I never got it. I called Marisa directly, and they told me the salon had to do it for me. While I was satisfied with Kleinfeld, I would only recommend it for brides who couldn't find success at smaller salons. It's definitely a factory - I had a more pleasant experience at Pronovias and Designer Loft - so it's important to know what style of gown you want (and that should be based on what you've tried on in the past). Don't go to Kleinfeld first!

We had to go but what a waste of time. Overpriced gowns by in house designers and surly sales help. Go to a local bridal shop this place isnt worth the cost of the parking

I LOVE my wedding dress I got from Kleinfeld. I visited several places in the city and Kleinfeld was the ONLY one to show me a dress below my budget. Every other place would show me dresses right at my price point or above my price point. I fell in LOVE with the dress that was below my budget from Kleinfeld's. I have to admit I purchased my dress a bit late and was at risk not getting a dress on time - other boutiques and places constantly pressured me but not at Kleinfeld. Not only did I get my dress in time there was need to rush. (Purchasing/ordering a dress 5 months before the wedding date is considered late.) When I had a question I emailed the store and the owner Ronnie Rothstein replied almost immediately with my answer.

Once I finally got the ball rolling on dress shopping I could not imagine anyone but Lisa helping me, I really don't think I would have found a dress without her. She was patient with me even after 3 visits. I finally found the perfect dress and I could not have found it anywhere else; literally since it was a Kleinfeld exclusive.

kLeinfeld's was definitely a dream come true. I went with soon to be sister in law (traveled from Washington, DC) just for fun. We were headed to NYC for a concert and had some extra time during the day. Made the appointment, tried on some amazing dresses, and then naturally fell in love with a Pnina for Kleinfeld's dress. All I have to say is that the quality of the dress was amazing. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! I highly recommend spending the extra money for the alterations at Kleinfelds. You get what you pay for at Kleinfelds, and let me tell you, it IS worth the experience, time, and money!

I LOVED Judy! She was so amazing in helping me find the right dress for my body. She really made me feel comfortable and helped me to find a dress I loved AND was in my price range.

I was originally supposed to wear my mom's wedding dress, but unfortunately her preservation process didn't work and it was yellow and falling apart. Once I realized this wasn't an option, I knew that I wanted to get as close to her style as possible - which was head to toe lace with an A-line frame. My consultant Lisa was amazing. I was extremely nervous and felt rushed at first, but she did a great job of calming me down and taking time to understand exactly what I wanted. She pulled all of the dresses I printed out and brought in, as well as ones that were similar in style and she thought would be flattering on my body. She did a wonderful job of staying within my price range and any time I saw a dress that was way over, she was very candid and let me know that it was too expensive. Many dresses I didn't like on the hanger and she wasn't pushy at all and put them aside immediately. After trying on two dresses, I was not thrilled and uncertain that lace was going to look good on me. Just then we both spotted a gorgeous Christos dress on another bride across the room who wasn't interested, so Lisa quickly ran over and had me try it on. It was the third dress I came out in to show my mom and bridesmaids and the one I ended up buying. Once the dress was picked, Randy appeared to help me pick out my veil and he and Lisa threw one on my head that was completely opposite of what I wanted, but absolutely perfect. Their eye for what looks good on specific people is phenomenal. They take time to get to know you as a person and your interests and never once did I feel rushed for time or like they were trying to up-sell. My mother is a seamstress, so alterations were very important to her. I lost a lot of weight prior to the wedding, so my intricate dress was very baggy on me and extremely long. My seamstress Janet did such a great job altering it that after my second visit it was perfect and ready to go weeks before my wedding. My mom and I were both thrilled and it fit like a glove the day of my wedding. The day we picked up my dress Janet greeted us and made sure we were happy with it. From there, an assistant took my dress up the stairs and helped us load it into my parent's car. He was very careful to let air out of the bag and not wrinkle the material. The overall Kleinfeld experience was a fantastic from start to finish and I have and will continue to recommend them to all of my friends!

I went to Kleinfelds for the "experience" at the suggestion of some friends. But I left with a dress. The whole "experience" is definitely different than what you see on Say Yes to the Dress. I was in a small room that was very warm and tried on several dresses that were totally off the mark. That is until my dress was brought into the room and I could not leave without it. My fittings were great and my seamstress did an excellent job. I was very impressed with the level of service she provided.

I wanted to have the fairy tale experience of getting my dress at Kleinfeld's and wound up paying too much for it. I wish I'd bought my dress for less elsewhere, Its an amazing place and if you are looking for a dress that's hard to find, you definitely should go there. But most brides can do better price wise at smaller shops. Also, Whatever price you say is your ceiling they WILL go over it by $1000. Lowball them because they will try to make you pay more.

I went here with my FMIL, mother & man of honor. I wasn't really expecting to find anything in my price range but wanted to have the experience. Needless to say, I walked out with a beautiful but simple Alita Graham ballgown dress. They gave me a hefty discount for buying one of the stock dresses but it was still over my modest budget. The room was tiny, I had to change in front of my guests (which I found extremely uncomfortable). And I really wish I would have asked for completely private moment (sans guests) to reflect before making the final decision. All that said, this was one of the few places where I was able to try on 7+ dresses in my size (18). My saleslady was extremely helpful and showed me multiple options under my price point. And the quality of the dress, for the price I paid was extremely worth it.

I found the perfect dress I was looking for. I described what I was looking for but never mentioned the designer I liked, and the first dress they put me in was the designer I loved, Ann Barge. The dress was exactly what I was looking for and would fit perfect in the ceremony overlooking the beach. My mom could not be with me to pick out my dress, but they allowed me to come back the next day and use there webcam so she could see the dress of my dreams, between finding the dress, the alterations and then shipping the dress to the location. The provided A+ service!

Kleinfeld has been in business forever because they are that good at what they do. From the initial appointments to the fittings, they always make sure you feel well taken care of. I had two appointments to try on dresses. My consultant, Nora, was awesome. On my second appointment, I brought my mom, Waterworks, and she had her moment once they put the veil on me in the main showroom area. That sold it to her, and when Randy from Say Yes to the Dress introduced himself to me and gave his blessing (I asked, duh), I was was sold. Kleinfeld is pricey but wedding gowns are pricey, so I don't think they were any more expensive than other shops. I had originally capped my dress at $2000, but when we went in the second time, Nora had either forgotten that limit or decided to overlook it and ultimately, the dress I fell in love with and bought was significantly more expensive. But, I don't regret it! I also bought a very expensive veil, which was the part I was most excited about and really brought the look together. That thing will be passed on for generations to come, I will make sure of it! There are probably cheaper veils of comparable quality out there, for what it's worth, but my mom and I were definitely overtaken by the moment. Kleinfeld has a flat rate of $600 for alterations, which includes everything. My dress luckily didn't require much work but the $600 also bought me peace of mind that if anything went wrong, I had a chain of escalation right there. My seamstress, Akelina, was so wonderful. She is a pro, so she knew exactly what to do and was open to any adjustments I wanted to make. And she was sweet, which is important when you're seeing someone that often. During my alteration process, I also got to meet Vera, the alterations manager, and Mara, the owner, who also feature on the TV show. This is what makes Kleinfeld so great. They both came up and introduced themselves, so they really made me feel like they cared that I had a good experience. And it worked and I did. They shipped my dress down to Austin and apart from one small area I had to steam, it was perfect. Now I just need to figure out what to do with that beautiful dress!

LOVED MY EXPERIENCE AT KLEINFELD! Lisa was my consultant. She's so patient. Josephine altered my dress. Really a sweet and talented woman. My dress was a Pnina. It was made for me.. love at first sight. Absolutely wonderful experience. My husband loved it too.

I found my dream dress at Kleinfeld. Although, far from home, we had a great experience there. The only problem was that my seemstress went on vacation in the middle of my alterations so it was hard arranging a time to get up to the city. Other than that, everything and everyone was wonderful!

Kleinfeld was a blast and my consultant, Barbara, was great! They made the process extremely special and fun. They took great care of me and were very responsive and time sensitive. You will find your dream dress here for sure!

Dress shopping at Kleinfeld's was a dream come true. I had bad experiences locally, and decided to make they trek to New York to work with true professionals. Rene was PERFECT. I told her what I liked: ballgown, box pleats, pockets, timeless, and a bit of bling. The first dress she put me in was Lazaro 3018. Sold! The dress was everything I wanted, and looked like it was made for me. I wanted to stop then and there and buy the dress, but everyone insisted that I try on more. I tried on about 6 dresses, but it was always the first. She nailed it! The alterations department works wonders! My dress fit like a glove, but was a bit low cut for my taste. They added extra fabric to the bodice, and you couldn't even tell that it wasn't originally there. Also, I normally hate bustles. I think they ruin the look of many dresses. Luckily, my seamstress was able to make a hem bustle for my dress. It was so clean and beautiful. It just looked like my gown never had a train at all! If you are concerned about the NYC sales tax on clothing, don't! If you live out of state just have them ship it to you, and you do not have to pay that tax. I am planning on renewing my vows in a few years, and I know where I will go for the dress!

There's a reason why Kleinfeld's is the premier wedding dress store. I resisted buying my dress there for a while because I thought they would be overpriced and too commercial, but after weeks of looking elsewhere, I turned up at Kleinfeld's for a sample sale and found my dress within 45 minutes. Jill, the associate who helped me was great. She was able to discern the best cut and texture for my frame and quickly picked out some great dresses for me, and one stood out above the rest. I was in and out within an hour and ended up with a gorgeous and affordable dress, which I received dozens of compliments on. The only downside to buying from Kleinfeld's sample sale is that they won't do alterations, and the woman they referred me to for alterations ended up being a nightmare, expensive and in the end, did not alter the dress properly. This of course was not Kleinfeld's fault but nonetheless frustrating that they referred me to her.

Amazing dress. Prices are quite exprensive. They charged 70 dollars for the bra to go with my dress and even charged for pads to go in the bra. I feel like that stuff should just be inclueded in the huge mark up they get on the dress.

The only negative thing I could say is that when I went to look at wedding dresses, I was disappointed at the number of dresses within my price range. And of those available, the quality. But, as I did eventually find a gorgeous dress by David Felden I can't complaint too much. My now husband also got his suit from the new men's section. It was a completely customized suit made in a vintage style by our request and Frank was completely amazing. He was so well versed and creative it really made putting together his suit as much fun as looking for my dress. At the end of the day we were both pleased with our wedding attire. The only other thing I will say is that you should be sure to check every inch of your clothing before you leave because while my dress was wrinkle and spot free when we took the suit out of the garment bag we noticed two dark spots on the back of the groom's suit jacket . Argh.

I can't say enough about Kleinfeld. I worked with Jessica as a salesperson and she could not have been sweeter or more helpful. She's also honest and will tell you what looks good, if you ask. I bought a strapless dress - but I didn't want to wear a strapless gown, so we bought extra lace to make a strap or cap sleeve. The fitting team (Anna and Vera) designed something between a cap and a strap out of the lace - and added other lace from their own stock as well to make it look like the dress had been designed with the straps, not like they had been added as an afterthought. It came out perfectly and covered everything it was supposed to, without being overwhelming. I loved, loved, loved my dress! Their selection and sales staff is reason enough to go, but if you need something special done to your dress, their seamstresses are second to none. Absolutely fabulous.

Kleinfeld is a great store to buy your dress because they have a huge selection. I did feel somewhat rushed during my shopping trip, but not enough to really bother me. Once I had bought my dress, however, their customer service became horrible. The store recommended that I have my dress shipped to me so that, because I live outside New York, I wouldn't have to pay sales tax. They told me that I would need to carry the dress with me on the plane, not check it, to bring it back for my fittings. When it got to be 4 months until my wedding date and my dress hadn't arrived, I called twice and left messages to find out when my dress would arrive and never got a call back. When it did arrive, the box was 10 inches too long on each side to carry onto a plane. So I had to pay more than $50 to ship it back to New York. Then I got a call about making an appointment for my fittings. They asked if I would like to have my three fittings over three days in row, which I thought would be great because it would mean less travel. At the end of the fittings, they tried to charge us an extra $300 (on top of the fitting charge we had already paid) for expedited fittings, even though the fitting coordinator who had booked the appointment for me (and suggested that I do the three day fitting) had never mentioned the extra charge. I would recommend that you go to Kleinfeld for their great selection, but do not have them do your alterations. It's not worth the cost or the hassle. I should add that my dress was perfect. It fit like a glove the first time I put it on and only had to be shortened slightly at the tops of the cups and under the arms (I guess I have a short torso) and have a bustle added, which was perfect. It arrived in perfect condition after being shipped to my wedding location and it fit perfectly and looked beautiful when I put it on. So, if I had to, I would go through all of the trouble over again to get that dress.

I was one of the insane brides who waited on line during a sale. It was such a great experience and I met so many other amazing brides. I was able to get my dream dress for an amazing price. I would have never been able to afford it otherwise. Thank you!

Excellent customer service and experience is key to a fabulous dress experience. Joan had assited me and was a pleasure to work with. She listened and respected my budget,and didnt make me try on dresses and fall in love with them that were way over my head price wise. Kleinfelds is beautiful and the dress selection is extremely vast. I was initially reluctant to make an appointment there and thought that it would be very intimidating. I was treated beautifuly and highly reccomend it!

I had a great experience purchasing my gown at Kleinfelds. My salesperson was very accommodating and professional and helped me find a beautiful gown. I was especially happy with Maria, the seamstress who did the fitting for my gown. She was so sweet and did such a great job. Also, my husband bought his suit at the Kleinfeld Men's shop and he had a fantastic experience working with Frank. His suit was beautiful and was just what he wanted. It also fit him perfectly. He has sworn that all of his future suits will be purchased from Frank. We both highly recommend Kleinfeld for all of your wedding finery needs.

I live in NYC, but never actually expected to go to Kleinfeld to find my dress. However, it wound up on the list of the many places I went to find my dream dress and I'm so glad I went. There was a sample sale going on, so there was a little bit of that panick to find the right dress in the right size that wasn't tried on a million times. Also, I went in July 2010 with an October 2010 wedding. Where many places were shocked and asking me if I meant October 2011, my saleswoman at Kleinfeld was the sweetest, kindest, most helpful person. We found the most beautiful dress as a sample that seemed like I was the only person to ever wear and like it was made for me. I guess Kleinfeld can be a little more expensive (but you can tell the difference in quality) but I recommend anyone looking for their dress dress to go and enjoy the experience!

They made finding a dress easy!!! I went in on a whim and was not expecting to find a dress that day (my first foray into wedding dresses). I didn't really know exactly what I wanted at the start, other than that I didn't want a bunch of frills and lace. I just wanted something classic and elegant. I had a fantastic consultant (not one who was on the show, thankfully!) who figured out quickly what I liked and didn't waste my time with dresses she knew I wouldn't like. She went straight for the designer who she thought I'd like (Romona Keveza Legends Collection). It was the 3rd dress I tried on and I didn't want to take it off! I even stayed within my budget and got a great deal on alterations. The alterations took a bit of work, but eventually got done to my and my bridesmaid's satisfaction. That's my only suggestion is to take someone with you for the fittings, as my hemline was not straight for two fittings in a row! Customer service was pretty good, although their billing system is a bit antiquated and sometimes you had to wait for a billing person to come off her break to check out. I know, a small quibble, but for the money you pay for a dress (and accessories) and for the overall reputation of the store, it should be better. I'm also having the dress cleaned and preserved here and so far, their customer service is excellent. They pay for shipping if you're not in NYC, which is fantastic!

I chose Kleinfelds because I knew that they had a huge selection of gowns to choose from. Keisha, my consultant, actually picked my gown. I was reluctant to try it on; but she convinced me to try and it was my dress! My appointment took longer than the 2 hours; but noone rushed me out. Very professional and I felt that I was in good hands. They are the experts and I knew that they would make sure that I was happy and everything was perfect. The fittings with Stella, were great. She is amazing and her experience shows. I would highly recommend Kleinfelds. It may be a little more expensive, but my peace of mind was worth it! Needless to say; my dress was beautiful and I felt beautiful in it on my wedding day!

I flew to NY to try on a specific dress that was only at Kleinfelds and a few other bridal boutiques in the US. It was a dress by an Italian dress maker and I was able to try on that dress and a few others. Overall, it was a great experience. If you don't do the taping for the show it's got a little less pomp and circumstance, but it was still great and when I left the appointment I had found my dress. As is typical it was one of the two dresses the consultant brought in that I didn't request, but it was $3000 less than the other one I was considering, which was GREAT! I asked them to change a few things from the sample, which they did and when the dress came it was as expected. It took some serious alteration, but that is just the way it is with wedding dresses, especially if you have any curves. So my advice for brides is assume you will need to make alternations to any dress you get, unless you try it on and buy it off the rack. Factor in at least $300 for alternations. More if you have beading and lace. That actually is a good service that Kleinfelds offers - they charge a flat alteration charge of $500 no matter what the dress is and what it takes. i didn't use it, since I was in Michigan not NY, but if you are in NY and your dress requires any alternation they will do whatever for $500.

Who wouldn't love getting their dress from Kleinfeld? I went during a sample sale and got the most amazing dress for almost 70% off! What a steal!

I purchased a $3,000 gown from Kleinfeld for my October 9th wedding. I loved it! I took my bridals in it and was very happy. The day of the wedding, my mom went to zip me into my Alita Graham gown and the zipper BROKE! My bridesmaid's mom happened to have needle and thread in her purse and she spent the next hour trying to sew me into my gown, with the help of some safety pins, too! The back looked horrible during the weddding (and of course the guests see your back the entire mass). Thank goodness I bought a reception dress to change into after the ceremony!

If you know what you want,they will be great,but if you don't know what you want,you will hate them. Just be smart!

The store is well run and I love the dress I purchased. I had alterations done elsewhere since they are expensive at the store but I was thrilled with my dress and would recommend them without question.

Kleinfeld was so great. Judy was my initial consultant, and she was a doll. She literally looked at me, sized up my style (also taking into account what I said about what I was looking for--simple, elegant, no fuss), and immediately had a dress in mind. I ended up choosing the first dress she brought for me (after trying on about seven others!). Judy was so patient and encouraging, and made the whole visit really pleasant. When I went for my fittings, Emily was a DOLL--she made the dress fit like a glove, and it looked even more incredible after the alterations were done! I was treated so fantastically there. A word of advice to the more "low key" brides--don't be daunted by what you see on TV--they really do have something there for everybody! My dress was simple and unique and I got complimented on it like crazy, and the price wasn't outrageous. It's truly an experience to go to Kleinfeld, and I highly recommend it if you're serious about looking at dresses there.

Kleinfeld Bridal was great in the end. The appointment went fabulous and smooth, I did go in knowing what I wanted. The only part that was scary was waiting for the dress to arrive. I expected it to come at least two months before but it didn't get there till a month before and I panicked. I called for three weekends straight looking for answers and they kinda gave me the run around until I put my foot down. They were however, professional the entire time. The alterations department was a dream come true! They made that dress fit to a T. Unbelievable what they can do. So Kleinfeld is a must if you are looking for that perfect dress.

The process of purchasing my dress was amazing. Their customer service when I was interested in buying a dress was fantastic. After 3 hours, I ended up spending a lot on my dress which was custom built to my body and they were very professional. They accommodated as many fittings as it took and there was no extra cost for that. Unfortunately, it was the accessories department at Kleinfelds that I would not recommend. In addition to my dress, I bought two veils, a 2 bracelets and a necklace. The only thing they got right was the necklace. The veils were supposed to come together on one piece - and of course it did not. We figured, not a big deal and let it go (which is our own fault for not complaining), but with so many other things going on, you'd hope that they'd get the order right in the first place and/or notice it was incorrect and offer options. Instead they up-sold me a decorative piece for my hair that goes with the veil. On my wedding day there was simply no way I could have all three pieces in my head and had to abandon one of the veils. Not the biggest deal in the world, but I could have saved a few thousand dollars in the first place. I looked to them for their recommendations and expertise and they were focused on selling - and not giving me what was right for me. Next, the two bracelets were supposed to arrive for when I picked up my dress. Low and behold, the bracelets were not there on the day i'm picking up my dress! They made me wait an hour (it happened to be a noreaster storm that day and our car service wasn't going to wait any longer for us -- not to mention the 'wait time' charges that were racking up). After an hour when we said we couldn't wait any longer - they told us they'd call me later. No call. I called them the next day. They said they'd call me back. No call. I called them on Saturday and spoke to a manager - they said my bracelet had gotten 'lost' and was MIA so they were going to order another one. She'd call to confirm I'd receive in time for my wedding. No call. In the end I had to call Kleinsfelds Accessory department over 6 times to finally get a confirmation that I'd have my bracelets in time for my wedding. Trust me when I say this is not how you want to be spending your last few days before the wedding. Note, my wedding dress bustle did break during the wedding which was a 'drag' (no pun intended)... not sure if that's really Kleinfeld's fault but did not help my impression of their company.

I had reservations about going to Kleinfeld. I thought it would be a bit overwhelming but just was going since they have a big selection. I went on a weekday evening and had such a great experience. I worked with Judy to help me find the perfect dress. She was helpful, knew exactly what I wanted and never pushy. I wound up going back the following week to show my mom and we both agreed it was the perfect dress for me. The only complaint I have is the cost of alterations. I just needed basic alterations and got them done elsewhere. Overall would highly recommend Kleinfeld.

Let's just say I bought my dress during my first and last fitting at Kleinfeld Bridal! Barbara was a doll and absolutely trustworthy. She was NOT pushy at all and made sure I stayed within my budget (which most sales reps there do NOT). She is not a part of the "Say yes to the Dress" show because she's not "into drama", which I immediately admired. From there, Marcella, took amazing care of my dress fitting and made sure the alterations were to my liking. I can honestly say I had a really fun and unforgettable time dress shopping here!

Best selection of dresses, prices vary greatly but your consultant works with you to find your style in your budget. I didn't do alterations there but I heard they do a great job with those as well (they charge a flat alterations rate of $595 - my dress had no lace, etc. so that was way too much for the alterations I needed).

Kleinfeld's was very responsive to my complaints that they shipped my brand new dress with stains on it. They should be if they ship a dress with discolorations on it. Word to the wise: if you're not getting your dress altered at Kleinfeld's, then thoroughly check it when you get it home. Unfortunately, I simply checked that it was indeed my dress style and dress color. I trusted that everything would be in perfect order. I found it wasn't at my first fitting where the discolorations. I was pleased with their customer service in addressing the problem. I was not pleased that this problem happened in the first place, and it caused much anxiety for me, my fiance and my tailor just weeks before the wedding.

Kleinfeld in Manhattan was a great experience for me. I had heard about brides having negative experiences in the past, however I have nothing but positive things to say about my time in the shop, and it stood up well to the other three shops I visited for dresses. I think it is important to go in with pictures of dresses that you like and don’t like, as well as having learned the “dress lingo” for styles and fabrics. I was able to tell the ladies I worked with what I liked and didn’t like, as well as my price point, so they only brought dresses that were real possibilities. I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all, and found the perfect dress. As I was not living in New York before the wedding, I did a 3 day fitting two weeks before the wedding (Thursday, Friday, Saturday). The seamstress was FANTASTIC – she listened to what I wanted and was sweet and efficient. However, this scheduling was the one problematic thing – they refused before I got to New York to give me a time frame, saying simply I needed to set aside “10am-4pm each day” for the fittings. As my dress was very simple, I ended up only needing to be there for 1.5 hours the first day, and then come in at 3pm the next day, and 3pm on Saturday, and then picked up the dress (after waiting for an hour) on Saturday at 6pm. However, everything with the dress was perfect, it was packaged very well and stood up to travel, and overall it was a good experience – I even bargained down the price of the dress and veil! So, know what you want (& don’t want), know your price point, and Kelinfeld should offer a great possibility for finding your perfect dress!

Kleinfeld's was an extremely positive experience for me from the selection of the dress through to the fittings and now to the cleaning of my dress. They are full service and very, very professional. They know their business very well and aren't pushy. Amazing selection.

Kleinfeld is worth every penny. I found my perfect dress there with the help of the perfect consultant. I also did my alterations there, and the seamstress was not only so sweet but she did an amazing job with my dress...the fit was like a glove, molded only for my body. Kleinfeld has the best selection, best staff and best service - hands down.

They have every dress imaginable. Finding a dress was so easy, Diane, the consultant was amazing. I loved my dress. It arrived and they called me in for alterations. I only had two alterations but they do more if necessary. I would recommend Kleinfeld. The only negative is the service didn't seem too personal, always someone different on the phone. The fitting area is a zoo with brides bringing tons of people to fittings. Kind of hectic!

Every girl dreams of finding the perfect wedding dress for the most important day of her life. Although Kleinfeld's can be on the expensive side, it's very likely that you will find your dream dress here. There are over 1000 dresses to choose from and the bridal consultants are very knowledgeable of the latest styles and the styles that will look best on your body type. I worked with Antonella and within 15 minutes of arriving at Kleinfeld's, she helped me find "the dress" (Jim Hjelm Couture). I was worried that I wouldn't find a dress within my price range ($3000), however Antonella found it for me pretty quickly. If you do go to Kleinfeld's, just be prepared to deal with crowds - there are often brides who bring their whole family/entourage, and the "Say Yes to the Dress" film crew is often there.

I purchased my wedding dress and veil at Kleinfeld Bridal and had a wonderful experience. My mother suggested that we go dress shopping at Kleinfeld, and at first I was apprehensive (because of the show), but I am so happy that I did. From start to finish, gown to veil, the women I worked with were amazing. They are truly talented and great at what they do. Knowing that I didn't want to break the bank on my wedding dress/attire I did some research on their website after making my appointment and found a designer and price point that worked with my budget. I brought some pictures and notes to my appointment with Camille and hit it off with her right away. She brought in a handful of dresses, one of which was the dress I saw on their site, as well as the "sister" dress to my top choice. (I tried them all on.) The second dress that I tried on (the "sister" dress) was THE dress. I left that day knowing that I was in great hands. The appointment was for about 90 minutes, maybe a little less, but we were out of there in under an hour. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured in to making a decision; Camille just locked in on my "needs" and wants for a dress and selected perfect matches. She is wonderful. It is best to do the research beforehand to know what you what and how much you're willing to spend. There is SO much to choose from that you can easily get overwhelmed. I had a fabulous experience. My fittings went smoothly and after two fittings I left with my dress. The seamstress working on my dress, Ellie, was friendly and wonderful. Overall, my Kleinfeld experience was fantastic, and I highly recommend them to other brides.

I found the perfect dress at Kleinfeld and I didn't spend a ridiculous amount of money. It was well worth going there and finding something unique for about the same price as going somewhere else that has dresses you see all the time. The service was amazing and they really helped me find the right one for me. I felt like I was wearing a dress made just for me and I got SO many compliments on it! The fittings were also wonderful. They will do everything to make sure it fits properly and looks perfect for you.

I went to the Blowout Sale on April 27. It was the first time I put on a wedding dress, but I found my dress. My Consultant was Tiffany Helbig. She was helpful even though there was so much going on and made me feel like she really cared. I got a great deal on my dress and my husband loved it as did everyone else.

I loved my Amy Michaelson gown, it was perfect for a beach wedding. Ask for Josphine for alterations she is the best

When purchasing my dress I literally had the dream experience. My consultant Diane was amazing. I had already picked out three dresses in my mind and I hated each one when I tried them on. The very first dress Diane suggested was THE one. She knew exactly what would work for me. My dress was by Pnina Tornai who was actually at the store and was so nice to meet. Although I loved the dress, there were a few things I wanted to alter which she offered to do at no extra cost. Her team even sent me a sketch of what the dress would look like after the changes had been made. I couldn't have been more happy with my experience that day. The only reason I took 2 and a half stars off the professionalism category is because the woman who handled my alterations at the store once my dress came in told me she had been married twice and would never get married again. Not exactly what a bride wants to hear as she's admiring herself in the mirror! However the actual work on the dress that she did was great.

Working with Kleinfelds was disappointing. It was clear that my consultant was just in it for the sale (showing me dresses I had no desire to even try on and elluding the one that I came for!). I did purchase my Melissa Sweet gown and veil from them. There was confusion as to when the gown was delivered and there was no communication between the managers and my consultant. The fittings were great. My seamstress was amazing and so sweet. To each's own, if you're looking for the "Kleinfeld's Experience", by all means, go. If you want more personalized attention and not feel like 1 out of millions of brides, I'm sure there are better quality salons.

At Kleinfeld's you definitely get your money's worth. The service is excellent and the quality is impeccable. Although I spent more than I wish I had on my dress, it was perfect. I had Diane as my consultant and Eleanor as my seamstress. Both were fabulous. The only con is that I didn't really feel an honest effort was made to show me something that I liked within my budget. However, my dress is absolutely incredible and everything I dreamed of so in the end, it was worth it.

There is not much more to be said about Kleifeld Bridal other than the show depicts there service accurately and fairly. They are top notch professionals who go out of their way to make sure you are in love with your wedding dress. Most importantly they will work with you to make the dress yours. I ordered mine with several additional pieces that I was then able to work with the seamstress to determine if and how they should be incorporated. I loved my dress and their service and would recommend them to everyone.

Took a trip to Kleinfeld's to try on some wedding dresses before my wedding. I didn't end up finding my dress at the store, but I don't believe it was for lack of trying either. It really is a fabulous store, with so many dress options. But I was disappointed with how I was treated once I told my consultant what my budget was. When I told her I could sway a little bit, she made an insulting comment and started showing me dresses that were WAY out of my price range. She was also very pressuring when I tried dresses on. The whole experience just wasn't so great.

The Kleinfelds team is great. I got a Pnina Tornai dress and got so many compliments on it. I had no idea what I wanted but Vivian my consultant found the dress and the second I put it on, I knew it was the one. I did my alterations with the store and am currently doing the preservations with them as well. They are definitely not the cheapest vendor in town but I think you get what you pay for - a responsive full service team. Would not recommend going here to browse though b/c I just a sense I get from the people there. Would save this trip for when you are ready to buy.

The service that I received at Kleinfeld far surpassed my expectations. The sales and alterations staff are seasoned professionals who made me feel like I was their most important client, even though the store was always full of many brides on each of my visits. My wedding gown was more than I could have dreamed of. Because of the amazing job of the alterations staff, I walked down the aisle in a dress that looked like it had been made for me.

I would not have gone to anyone but Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. They are extremely professional, and they know how to accommodate almost any price range. They are very responsive, the owners give you their private number that you can reach them at until midnight every night! I had to call them about my dress when I had picked it up, because I wasnt sure whether to take it out of the bag or leave it in, and not only did they call me back within 5 minutes, but they also stayed on the phone with me, asking me about my wedding and showed interest in me. They did not look to just quickly get off the phone. It was amazing! USE THEM!

What else can I say, to "Say yes to the dress" store. I garanty what you see on tv show is what you get! Amazzing service, the consultants are there to really help you in order to find THE DRESS. You don't have your shoes/sandals yet? The ladie in charge of the "accessoire" will get the perfect one to best fits your dress & style. My husband would not like this comment ... But I wish I can go back there again & again & again!

What else could I say ... What you see on TV is what you get in person. The service is amazing, TOO much choices, you better have a good idea of your perfect gown so it's going to be easier & faster ... appointment is for 1 1/2hours, it goes fast. Otherwise with a good description of what you imagine yourself in well ... they will come back with amazing dress in your range of price. The best experience in "shopping" in my life! For Canadian don't worry the have many dress at an affordable price. I love Kleinfeld & next time I am in NY I will bring them pictures of our wedding.

I had a wonderful experience at Kleinfelds and really feel for the women who didn't get to have similar! Every girl wants the ideal shopping experience - a consultant who listens, who is patient, brings dresses that are "you", and is friendly. I was blessed to have Keasha who made my shopping experience all that I could have asked for and more. Yes, the dressing rooms are small but consider how many brides come in per day. I'd been to several other dress stores who also had small dressing rooms. I was taken about 20 min after my scheduled appointment but it didn't really bother me. I was excited just to be there and get to try on beautiful dresses. Perhaps if you have certain expectations of how it is done there, they may not be met. I had some expectations and they all exceeded my dreams! As a plus size bride I tried on about 7 dresses. I had told my consultant I didn't need to try on more because I had found my "one". They treated me no differently then any other smaller bride and I felt as special as the next girl. Even though they ask for you to bring in pics for your appt, I actually had only given the girl one picture. However, I had written down the style numbers from the site of dresses I liked. Perhaps this helped in being able to try on as many as I did. I've heard girls complain that they brought in pics and weren't able to try on those dresses. Start from their website to find dresses you like. Clearly, this will increase the number of dresses you can try. In fact, the dress I ended up ordering was one that I had written down and brought to Keasha. Also I was on a low budget walking in the door and feared there wouldn't be many dresses to try on, but I was wrong! Give Kleinfelds a chance, you may just find the dress of your dreams!
