Lauren and her team are THE BEST! They are detail-oriented, helpful, super responsive...just a joy to work with. I worked with Loli Events for the month of my wedding, and it has been stress-free since because Lauren handled everything for me, and everything went so smoothly the day of our wedding. Lauren is an amazing wedding planner. I am extremely particular about everything being done perfectly and efficiently - very anal (likely a consequence of working in the financial sector!) and fired 2 other wedding planners before I found Lauren. Hiring Lauren was the best decision I made, as it immediately changed my wedding planning experience which had previously been the worst nightmare. Lauren is extremely responsive (I don't think there was a single time she did not respond within 24 hours, it was usually within a couple hours), she has impeccable taste (she was one of the few people whose advice I could always rely on), is very dependable (you know nothing will fall through - she thinks of every little detail), and genuinely a really nice person (she was extremely nice to my entire family no matter what they asked for on the wedding day). I would highly recommend her to anyone - she is certainly not the cheapest planner, but take it from someone who has been through the cheapest planners and gone to hell and back, she is worth every penny.

Our wedding this past September was truly a dream come true! We owe this, in large part, to the Loli Events team for making it a smooth, seamless, and stress-free event. My husband and I both agree that the best decision we made was hiring Lauren from Loli Events. Our wedding was in Brooklyn however we live across the country so we really depended on Lauren to help guide us. She was organized, had smart ideas and was incredibly easy to work with beforehand as well as the day of. When it rained on our wedding day, we had to move the ceremony indoors and Lauren calmly put her plan B into action. Everything came together seamlessly. I don't know what we would have done without her!

I was hesitant about getting a wedding planner, since I wasn't working, but was talked into hiring one. I found the NY Wedding Magazine and I contacted a huge company and Loli Events (only because of the simple, clean ad of a woman and her dog). With 2 emails back and forth I signed the contract (without even talking to Lauren). And I must say it was the best advice I got to hire a wedding planner and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was incredibly professional about everything, she would contact me immediately if she needed me and when she could take care of things without bothering me she did. We even had an extended late night and she was about the last to leave to make sure everything ran smoothly. I think Loli Events is the best boutique planning company if you need any help in planning (as I'm sure she'd be great for any event). And with the smaller company you're not just a number but a name and I consider her a friend now. I can't recommend anyone more strongly as I do as Loli Events. Thank you for everything Lauren.

When I first met Lauren I was instantly excited to work with her and that excitement lasted throughout the rest of the planning. I had met with a few other planners but she was the first one who I felt really listened to what I had envisioned and would be able to carry that through. And she did, my wedding was flawless and gorgeous...people are still talking about it. I was in law school and in a different state while planning my wedding. Lauren scheduled every vendor appointment and did so in a way that made excellent use of time. Every single one of my vendors loved her and because of that they all went above and beyond. But just because they loved her didn't mean Lauren wasn't ready to speak up in order to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted. The best part about working with Lauren was waking up on the day of my wedding without a worry or care in the world because I knew she had taken care of everything. All I had to do was get dressed and was able to really enjoy the morning with my mom and bridesmaids. That was priceless.

Lauren is FANTASTIC! She really lives up to simple, elegant and unique. She managed to coordinate our DREAM wedding in a highly professional, relaxed and stress-free manner. She has great taste, vendor selection and is extremely responsive. She pays attention to all details big and small. Best thing we did was to hire her!

We got engaged in December of 2010 and decided to get married in October 2011. We knew we needed a wedding planner and started looking around. After interviewing several people and companies on the phone, we knew there was something special about Lauren at Loli Events. She immediately calmed our nerves and had great answers to all our questions. After meeting her in person we knew that Loli Events was the right company to help plan our big day. Lauren is extremely organized and very responsive. Her attention to detail is very impressive. Whenever we had a question or needed to get in touch with her, she was eager to respond and help. She has a great roster of vetted vendors and everyone that works with her loves her. She is excellent at negotiating prices and services. Our wedding was in a huge beautiful (but empty) barn in Rhinebeck, NY. It had no bathrooms, water, electric, lighting or any other amenities that a standard venue would have. Lauren took on the task of transforming this vacant space head on. She was always positive, optimistic and found the perfect people for the job. She helped us think through our vision and came up with great ideas for the space as well. Lauren is not only motivated and helpful when it comes to planning- she and her team did a fabulous job with the day-of coordination. They created a timeline and comfortably kept everyone to it. The ceremony and reception was perfect and all the vendors worked seamlessly together because of Loli Events. Overall, what we liked best about Lauren is that she is fun, responsible and has a great attitude. Her “no problem, can do!” spirit is complimented by her excellent taste and natural sophistication. Lauren gave us so much of her time and attention we felt like we were the only wedding she was managing. We don’t know what we would have done without her, Lauren is just amazing. We are so lucky to have had her as our planner and we cannot recommend her highly enough!!

Loli Events was ever professional, a great sounding board, uber-responsive (including answering 7AM day of emails from me), and a voice of reason throughout the wedding planning process. You want Lauren around 9-12 months out when you're picking vendors (you'll make better decisions with her help), as the day approaches (she's amazing with details - big and small), and the day of (your head will be clear to just be getting married and not worry about everything else...otherwise you will). Lauren is simply a pleasure to work with. She'll cater to any of your ideas, help you filter ideas, and get into the concept of making your day unique with you. We live in Los Angeles, got married around NYC, and thus we had to figure out any and all ways to meet, communicate, etc. Lauren was up for it all. Most of us don't plan events, let alone weddings, as our day job, but we want to do it perfectly and ideally once. Thus, you want Loli Events as your partner. Your wedding will be better for it, so will your stress levels, and likely your budget too. I highly recommend Loli Events. If there is a word bigger and better than highly, then I would use that one. I couldn't have gotten married without it's planning service! Thank you SO much.

We hired loli events for our outdoor wedding this July, and it was BY FAR the best decision we made in planning our wedding. I am a big do- it-your-selfer, and put off hiring a planner for a long time. As the wedding neared and my to do list grew out of control, I was overwhelmed and realized I needed help. We meet with Lauren and explained the look and feel of our wedding, and she got it right away. We hired her for the day of the event, and I can't say how valuable her services were. My husband and I both say our wedding wouldn't have happened without her, and it is true. She pulled through and made every detail happen, working extremely hard in the hot sun, and somehow she made it look effortless and easy, without a negative word ever coming out of her mouth, EVER, and believe me, if she had, it would have been justified. We really put her to the test, and she was amazing. She handled any situation that got thrown at her with a smile on her face, looking cool as a cucumber and adorable, to boot! she is so positive and gracious. Professional, hard working, detail oriented, and just a joy to be around. Our wedding was amazing. AMAZING. And loli events was a huge part of that. I hired Lauren to help plan my wedding for June 2011 and I am SO glad I did. With Lauren's help my husband and I got to enjoy wedding planning, rather than stressing over it. I got married in May of 2011 in Manhattan (where I used to live), but halfway through our engagement my husband got an unexpected job opportunity in San Francisco and we decided to move! Lauren was a dream from the start. She was so responsive and helped me feel completely comfortable and confident in our big event. In the planning phase her knowledge of great vendors made our selection process much smoother... She connected us to a fabulous caterer, an amazing DJ, a great florist etc. All within the budget that I had outlined at the start. Also, she answered any questions I had very quickly (often instantly). Once it came time for the party Lauren was great. She was at the location way before all of us, checking to make sure everything was in order. When the toilets broke during the party, she handled it all with great calm and redirected guests to other restrooms in the building. She even helped with making sure that all of my out of town family got home to their hotels safely and easily. I didn't have to worry about anything. I just got to enjoy the party. And beyond all of this, Lauren was a great pleasure to work with. She understood my busy schedule and was very flexible. She also helped calm me down when things were getting a bit overwhelming. She is fantastic. Lauren brings great professionalism, motivation, attention to detail and love to her work. I was so grateful to have had her help and I would hire her again in a second.

Where to begin?! Lauren of Loli Events is EVERYTHING you could ever hope to find in a wedding planner/coordinator. She is organized, kind, tasteful, attentive, extremely professional, and absolutely adorable. She will make your wedding or event go smoothly so that you can celebrate without worry and will do so with grace and humor. She worked with us as our day-of coordinator, and I was able to enjoy my wedding without obsessing over all of the little details. I cannot say enough good words about Lauren and loli events! I had planned to go through with planning my wedding completely on my own, but realized as the wedding date neared there was no way to do this (and have a stress-free wedding day) without a day-of-coordinator. I found loli events through Wedding Wire about six weeks before my wedding and met with Lauren soon after. I immediately felt relief of wedding anxiety upon meeting her. There are countless great things about working with her, but I would say her astute attention to detail, listening skills, trustworthiness and can-do attitude were what convinced my husband and me that she was "the one." Lauren understands that, in addition to the big things, it’s the little details on your wedding day that make a huge difference. She will listen to your needs and note the details, she will remember them, and she will act upon them. She is also incredibly flexible, which is vital. Plus she will be a second voice (or first) to your vendors. Communicating with my vendors was a bit exhausting at times, but Lauren stepped in to assist and lead some of these communications with ease and success. I also had quite a bit of decor, and Lauren reviewed every little detail with me in advance to understand exactly how my husband and I wanted the cocktail hour/reception to look and feel. Ultimately, I 100% believe that our wedding day was so incredibly amazing because my husband and I were able to entrust the “running of the show” to Lauren. We did not have to worry – everything was planned in advance -- and we had an amazing wedding planner in the driver’s seat on the big day. Trust me, Lauren/loli events is METICULOUS and will not leave even the most critical of brides disappointed!

Lauren was great. I had done a lot of the initial wedding planning but in the last 2 months, found that I really needed some extra support. She was wonderful to work with and really made me feel at ease. My sister told me later that Lauren was amazing on the day-of and really helped to make everything run smoothly, working in sync with our venue, band, photographer, etc. I highly recommend her.

I cannot begin to say what an invaluable role Lauren of Loli Events played in my wedding being an amazing success! From start to finish Lauren focused in on the details, was able to constantly keep on top of the overall big picture and never missed a beat! Our wedding of 150 guests involved a lot of planning as most guests were from out of town. I consider myself a great planner and i had a very clear vision of what i was looking for and how i was going to do it and i still firmly believe i would have NEVER been able to have it all come together as well without Lauren's expert help! There's no getting around the fact that on your big day you cant possibly be everywhere yet somehow Lauren was! The clearest way I can emphasise how amazing she really is is by the shear number of guests and family who came up to me at the reception and afterwards telling me how great my wedding planner was!! She impressed me by going above and beyond what I even thought possible and made my day the absolute best.

My mom offered to gift my husband and I "day of wedding planning" services to ensure we both ENJOYED our big day. We met Lauren from Loli Events back in February - our wedding was this past September. From the interview she was AMAZING! She was exactly what we were looking for both professionally and professionally - objective, creative and ascertive without being pushy. Both my (now) husband and I were sold on her services from the onset. We were sensitive to finding someone who was approachable and friendly but could still ensure our ideas and vision were executed by the vendors. Lauren was prompt and professional in both her responses with to us as well as in her correspondence with our vendors. At the wedding she took care of EVERYTHING with little to no 'supervision' from the guests of honor. She exercised sound judgment when it was required and quickly diffused what could have become larger issues on the day of. Two and a half weeks before our wedding my mother unexpectedly fell ill and I was even more worried about the day of than I was before this. I made Lauren aware and it was as if she picked up the load of worry I had on my shoulders and back took care of it all. She checked in on me every so often to make sure my focus was on mom's recovery and reassured me that everything was covered and would be beautiful on the day of the wedding - she was RIGHT! Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful - even more than either one of us could have imagined and for this we have Loli Events to thank! For someone who began the wedding planning process not at all thinking she'd need one or have reason for one, I couldn't imagine my day without LOLI Events. They were front and center without literally being front and center. During our contracted time with Lauren we always felt like we had her undivided attention adn that the success of our wedding was as important to her as it was to us. Lauren Sozmen of Loli Events was the absolute best wedding planner I could have asked for. I could sing her praises for pages and pages but here are 3 areas in which she shined: 1) Resources - Lauren's network is fantastic. I planned my NYC wedding from the west coast so I leaned on her heavily for vendor selection and boy did she deliver. She listened to my vision and made introductions that were spot on with what I was looking for. She found my florist, my hair and makeup person, my music, my celebrant, my photographer and more. They were all fantastic and the time she saved me in finding them eliminated any long distance stress. 2) Organization - I wish I could attach the timeline document Lauren compiled for the wedding. It was 6 pages long and included in clear, precise detail exactly what was going to happen and when. It was just one example of how I knew she had everything covered which allowed me, my guy, my family and my bridal party to relax and enjoy the ride without sweating the small stuff. The day went off flawlessly, and it was all thanks to Lauren. 3) Personality - Let's be honest, if you're working with a wedding planner for a year you want to like them, right? Well you will LOVE Lauren. She is happy, friendly, positive, classy, professional, responsive, diplomatic, even keeled and flat-out lovely. She will be as excited about your wedding as you are. She has a can-do attitude about everything - if you want to have swans dressed in tuxedos as your ring bearers, she'll find a way to do it! When problems come up, and they will, she'll make it all be ok. Her favorite word is 'amazing' and she'll say it to you a lot with complete sincerity. In reality, it's Lauren who is amazing. Bottom line...you cannot make a better choice in wedding planners than Lauren Sozmen of Loli Events.

We hired Loli Events for Full Service wedding planning but Lauren offered us more then we ever expected. In my opinion, the most important quality in a wedding planner is their ability to make complicated situations disappear. We are an African-American couple and Lauren's first hurdle was to impress my mother. My mother is traditional and demanding. Lauren handled my mother like a pro. She knew exactly how to deal with her concerns and sometimes impossible personality. My mother and I really enjoyed the wedding planning process. Lauren is solely responsible for making the impossible possible. I was in Los Angeles and Lauren was in NY with my family. Fulfilling most of my requests from a distance. I had a very challenging schedule and Lauren made miracles happen on many occasions but never allowed me to worry or feel guilty. Trust me, having a stress free wedding is a gift and a privilege many brides will never experience. Even when we hit some bumps in the road she handled each situation with grace and compassion. In retrospect, I couldn't imagine entrusting anyone else with our special day. Lauren always kept an open mind, supported all of our choices, and her timeline was flawless. She advised us on everything from our obscure trolley request to our appearance in Town & Country magazine. Nothing is too big or small for Loli Events and she does it with an amazing amount of class. Our wedding was elegant yet traditional. It reflected our individual tastes while incorporating our cultural traditions and family values. Lauren's passion and dedication to excellence is contagious. Above all, she made my husband feel comfortable and for this alone I am forever indebted to Lauren. It is very easy for everyone to forget that it is the grooms day too. My other half is an extremely private person but he really opened up and allowed himself to have an amazing time. I can see how our wedding might have been a planning nightmare for someone else. I have a family of experienced hospitality professionals who all had determined ideas about what should happen when and how. Lauren has this sweet, open nature that allows her to charm anyone within a ten-mile radius. My family fell for her right away. But don't be fooled, when you need someone to go to bat for you (especially with an iffy vendor) Lauren is a shark. I particularly appreciated her efficiency and buoyancy when I was exhausted from a solid year of planning, surrounded by chaotic excitement and unable to be as graceful as I would have liked. Lauren was my superhero. Other careers that might be good for Lauren: High School Guidance Counselor, Miss America, President of the United States and/or Head of the CIA.

Lauren was absolutely spectacular from end-to-end! We cant thank her enough! Leading up to our wedding day she was extemely flexible to meet our difficult schedules. She went over and above to make sure that all details were covered and to our liking. She is extremely intuitive and maintains a "can do, will do" attitude - and always with a pleasant smile. On our wedding day, she worked extremely hard to make sure all went beautifly. She is an ideal choice for anyone that is lucky enough to choose her for their wedding!
