Anabelle is an absolutely amazing artist who paints masterpieces on the palate that is the face. She worked with myself and 14 other faces on my wedding day and created each to be more flawless than the next. The transformations of the bridal party were astounding and everyone looked unbelievable in photographs. I cannot recommend her enough!

I rarely give a five star review for anything, be it services or a restaurant, but Anabelle was absolutely phenomenal. I was married the weekend after Hurricane Sandy at a venue on Long Island which had lost power, subsequently leaving us to get ready in the freezing cold. Anabelle worked her magic on my bridesmaids and my mom, making us all feel beautiful - even though most of us had been without power and were exhausted. The bags under our eyes were invisible by the time that she was done with us - no easy feat, and we all look fantastic. Anabelle is worth her weight in gold, and I would recommend her a million times over.

Anabelle did my makeup for both my engagment party and wedding. Both were held at upscale venues so I didn't want to look over done or get that shiny face look that we ladies sometimes get in pictures. Anabelle took her time and took her work seriously. I have very sensitive eyes and her eye make up did not irritate me. On my wedding day I got a huge pimple that was raised - i wanted to cry - she was able to cover it up and I can't even see it in my pictures. Best part is that she left my mom ( who doesn't speak English ) speechless. My mother always finds something wrong in people's work but Anabelle nailed it . I kept her all day / night, she did touch ups during photos , before cermony , after cermony. I cried during the chuppah and def needed a touch up. If you can afford to keep her around all day - do so, you won't regret it

I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day and Anabelle was definitely a huge help! I had a really hard time deciding on make up because I rarely wear any. I had two trials with another company before Anabelle and I was left disappointed. I felt like I was wearing too much. It seemed unnatural and uncomfortable. One of my bridesmaids recommended Anabelle and I'm really glad I took my friend's advice! My wedding day make up was exactly what I wanted and didn't look overdone. Anabelle is fantastic! She did my make-up and the make-up for my sister and mother for my October wedding. We didn't have time for a trial, but I felt totally at ease with Anabelle. The make-up was beautiful and very natural. She is not only an incredibly talented make-up artist, but a great person. I truly enjoyed having her at the hotel doing make-up while we were all getting ready. She's also incredibly professional and responsive (responding to emails within a minute or two usually).

Anabelle did an incredible job on my wedding makeup. She was great to work with, and was open to any adjustments I wanted to make after our trial. Anabelle LaGuardia. I don't know where to start on how amazing you are. I read amazing reviews and booked my trial right away. I had my first and ONLY trial for my wedding. When you first meet Anabelle you feel like you've been friends forever. She listens to what you want and is super accommodating. During my trial she just made me feel so comfortable . I came home and showed my husband and that's when I knew she NAILED it!! I couldn't wait for her to do my makeup the day of my wedding. I had Anabelle until my ceremony started. She was with me and my bridal party for 9 hours!!! She was so calm during my pictures with my bridal party..touching us up throughout the day until the moment I walked down the aisle. Anabelle was fantastic ! I am pretty much a pain in the ass when it comes to makeup.. I had 2 trials before Anabelle and was pretty disappointed. Anabelle LaGuardia was the makeup artist for my daughter's wedding on May 5th 2012. The wedding party was large. There were 9 bridesmaids and 2 junior bridesmaid and the bride and the mother of the bride(me) so she did bring an assistant. Anabelle took care of me, the maid of honor and the bride. Everything worked calmly and with utter professionalism. My daughter never in her life looked as beautiful as she did that day. She never wears makeup so I was a bit worried. Anabelle was the makeup artist for my wedding on March 24th and she was absolutely amazing. She and another artist (who she brought) were able to get all of us ready ahead of schedule, and brought such a calming effect to the entire day. Anabelle did my makeup for my wedding, along with my mom's and my sister's. We were a range of ages (obviously) but also have very different coloring and styles. She really nailed the look I was going for after one trial and was able to make my mom and sister look great on the first try. She was so responsive and proactive that I never worried once about her showing up on time and being anything other than a professional. One thing I did not think about until that morning was how important it is to get along with your vendors. You spend a lot of time with them at a very stressful, emotional time. Anabelle has a great attitude and is positive in a very genuine way. It was a pleasure to have her there in the middle of the whirlwind.

Anabelle did a beautiful job on my, my mother in law's and my bridesmaid's makeup. Everyone looked fantastic and was thrilled with the end result. I had already done a few makeup trials when I met with Anabelle for the first time and was able to give her several specific examples of things I did or did not want as part of my look. For example, in a previous makeup application, the makeup was caked on so thickly that I could see several fine lines on my forehead and undereye area. I expressed this concern to Anabelle and when she was done doing my makeup, it was smooth and looked beautiful - no wrinkles! She is very thorough, professional and will help create the look that you want. Before we met the first time, she asked me to send over pictures of my previous makeup trials with commentary on what I did or didn't like, which helped us create the perfect look for my wedding! Anabelle is the best! She's the sweetest, most accommodating, and a true artist. Her technique leaves you looking like the most beautiful version of yourself, not overdone. Unlike some other makeup artists, she applies individual lashes which makes a big difference in comfort and appearance, and if you have a preference that may not have been her first choice, she'll still deliver. Anabelle helped me, my mom, and two bridesmaids look flawless on my wedding day! Our looks lasted from early in the morning to early the next morning for the after party! I can't say enough good things about Anabelle. During our consultation, she listened to exactly what I wanted (fresh, light, peachy tones) and I walked away very happy and excited for the wedding day. The day of the wedding, she was on time and was very flexible being that our bridal suite didn't have adequate light, she had to set up shop downstairs of venue and didn't mind at all, even when people were trying to sneak peeks. But, this is really how she WOWed me. The morning of my wedding day, I woke up and noticed a blemish appearing on the side of my mouth... I started stressing out and it was getting bigger and bigger and really bothering me. Worst timing ever. I was so upset (which didn't help). Well, Anabelle calmly told me not to worry about it, she would take care of it. And she DID. She airbrushed right over it, made sure that it was adequately covered, and when I got back upstairs, it was like it was never there! I felt so much better and my anxiety totally went away. My pictures came out gorgeous and exactly how I wanted to look. I couldn't have done it without Anabelle. My bridesmaids also came out gorgeous and loved her. Anabelle truly made me feel beautiful on my Wedding Day. Make-up trials proved to be difficult and stressful for me as I am pretty particular -- I dealt with artists who applied either way too much make-up or who I felt did nothing special. Anabelle is a superstar! In addition to providing incredible make-up for myself and my family, her flexibility and knowledge saved the day! The day of the wedding, Anabelle came to my apartment to do make-up for myself and three others in the wedding. During the last touch-ups, I started to get into my dress. My mom and future mother-in-law were helping, but the dress was rather complicated (it laced up the back), and none of us could figure out how to make it look right. Anabelle stepped in and magically made it work. I was really freaking out, and she was the only person who was keeping calm and productively contributing to the dressing process. I think we would still be in my apartment getting dressed without Anabelle's help that day. She really went above and beyond for me! And I should say that my make-up was awesome! I am a little hard to please because I rarely wear make-up and I was very nervous about looking too "done-up" and not enough like myself. When we met for a consultation, she listened to what I had to say and chose a look for me that was perfect - not too much but not too little -- I loved it! I had a trial with Anabelle and explained once what I wanted and she did one trial and I looked amazing. I am very picky with my makeup and the way Anabelle did my makeup my face took my breath away. On the day of my wedding my makeup was stunning, in fact my photographer has a close up of my face on his website. I would definitely recommend Annabelle. Anabelle did my three bridesmaids, my mom's, and my makeup for my wedding and we all loved how we looked. She is very talented at what she does. She came to my hotel on time and was able to keep us on time which was great since we had a tight schedule. Our makeup came out amazing, we got so many compliments, and despite it being a hot and humid June day it lasted over 12 hours without having to retouch it! Anabelle did such a great job with my make up on my wedding day! I have never had my makeup done before so was not too sure what to expect. After contacting multiple places that would only cover a minimum of 3 people and completely break the bank, I was lucky enough to have found Anabelle LaGuardia. Anabelle absolutely made our wedding day! I cannot begin to explain how beautiful she made myself and all the ladies involved look for our wedding. Everyone looked perfect, and I'm still(!) receiving compliments on how beautiful my makeup was for our wedding. The makeup wore perfectly, even in one of the worst weather-days I can ever imagine, from early morning until 3 a.m.! I don't wear much make-up and Anabelle perfectly nailed the look I was going for, while she was also completely responsive to each person's preferences as well as creating an overall cohesive look for the wedding. Anabelle is awesome. I called my photographer who took my headshots - years ago - for acting. I wanted to know if he knew a make-up artist. He recommended Anabelle and told me she was excellent for bridal make-up. I had already gone through two other trials and walked away disappointed. As an international bride, organising make-up services over the Internet was a daunting task, however Anabelle took all the stress and strain out of this. She was in regular contact over email and I was delighted with the personal and professional service she offered; she wanted to know all about my style and fashion tastes, so that she could get my look just right for my wedding day. On the day, she continued to balance the personal and the professional, which put me at ease on a very nerve-wracking day. The make-up lasted all day, despite the heat and nerves, and was great value for money. Anabelle is AMAZING!!! She did my make up for my wedding day, and I can't say enough good things about her services...We did a trial session, and discussed the look I was going for, and Anabelle was right on target. Anabelle was a pleasure to have in my home on my wedding day. She came to my house early to set up and did my bridesmaids, my mom, my mother-in-law and my makeup in a short amount of time. It was a very hot day and our makeup stayed without being heavy or cakey. Although I was a little shiney and would have liked if she supplied retouch samples instead of everyone having to use their own lip gloss or lip stick to retouch. She did a great job.
