Like many of you I looked at reviews online for an affordable makeup artist. I was concerned about having one artist for 9 people but needed to keep my budget inline and organized. The prep: Lets just say nicole didn't miss a beat and rolled with it. I would highly recommend Nicole at MG for her love in what she does, and true appreciation and extroadinary attachment to her craft.

I originally scheduled my hair trial with one of Megan's artists, but when she got sick and could not make it on the day of my trial (the only time my mom was in town), Megan stepped in and offered to do my hair and makeup herself, both for my trial and for the wedding, at the normal artist's rate. I was thrilled with the trial as Megan not only did a beautiful job, but also answered a lot of questions about makeup in general, recommending beauty products to help me look better leading up to my big day. On the wedding day, Megan and her team arrived early so they would have time to set up. They were very understanding when we were running late, and stayed beyond our allotted time with no complaints. I was thrilled with how I looked, as was my mother and all of my bridesmaids. I would wholeheartedly recommend MG, especially Megan!

Brikida is the best hair and make-up artist ever. She made me and my mom sooo beautiful on my wedding day. She's extremely talented and nice. I love how she's patient and flexible with any changes we made throughout our trials. I definitely recommend MG Hair and makeup especially Brikida.

Cathy came to my home for both the trial run and the morning of my wedding and did a perfect job on our hair and makeup. She listened to my concerns and worked with me to create a lovely look. Great service.

Cathy, who came to my hotel in New Rochelle was a real trooper and did 6 hours worth of hair and makeup on my girls. it seemed like there was nothing we could suggest that she couldn't do. The company was very responsive when i had questions and was very professional throughout the whole process.

I'm very happy with MG Hair & Makeup! My hair and makeup artist Erika was very sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted. The day of the wedding, she replicated the makeup and hair exactly as she had done in the trial. I hired another artist for my bridesmaids for the morning of my wedding, and they were all very happy with her, as well. I highly recommend this agency for your wedding hair & makeup needs. They are very talented, reliable, and professional!

I used MG Hair & Makeup for my hair and my bridesmaids' hair for my September wedding. Planning the whole wedding myself, I kind of dropped the ball on finding someone to do my hair and emailed MG just a few weeks before the wedding date. They still fit me in, and my stylist, Nicole, found time to come out to my house for a trial, on a Saturday. I explained what kind of look I was going for, showed her some pictures, and sat back. Nicole took her time, did a fantastic job with my hair, made the adjustments I requested, and kept up a great conversation on top of it all. She even gave me some makeup pointers and added my veil so I could see the complete picture. She took photos of the end product to bring back with her on the wedding day. On the big day, Nicole and her assistant arrived on time, brought everything with them, and were super flexible about where they set up. They listened to each bridesmaid's request and executed the styles beautifully. They worked steadily for hours without ever sitting down. My hair looked great and they stayed around to do touchups on each of us after we got dressed. Nicole showed the maid of honor how to take my veil off without messing my hair up. Our hair stayed up all day (and I have very smooth hair that tends to fall). My veil didn't budge. Pictures turned out great. MG was definitely one of those vendors that I hired, and they just took care of everything - fair/easy to understand pricing, advice on the prep time frame, arrived on time, had everything with them, really responsive to what the girls wanted - just super organized, friendly and easy to work with. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Perfection! Dee arrived at my home 15 minutes early, which helped set the calm tone for the day. She made me, my mom (who decided at the last minute that she wanted her hair done as well as makeup), and my sister look beautiful!

Megan is unbelievable! She did my wedding party and myself, and she is so incredibly skilled! Not only is she so skilled, but she is amazing with people.

My hair and make up looked amazing. Everyone was complimenting it all night long and it looked great in pictures. The best part was that they came to me in the hotel. So I could relax in the suite all day with my bridal party.

It was nice that the stylist comes to the location of the wedding.

They are convenient because they come to you for the trial run through and the big day. My person was very nice and easy to work with. She did one of bridesmaids hair and my flower girl's girl. Both turned out beautiful. I liked my hair and makeup as well. I may change my hair and makeup colors if I did it again, but my husband loved it! It was a little spendy though.
