We got married 9/15/12 and we used Miscellany Events as our wedding planner. We could not have been more satisfied!! Danielle and Andrea were amazing! We got married at a bed and breakfast on the east end of Long Island, and it being an outdoor reception at a venue not usually used for weddings, we were responsible for every last detail and vendor. I could not have done it without them! They even thought of things I wouldn't have on my own. I have crazy work hours, and they were very flexible with our meetings leading up to the wedding, and the day went on without a hitch! Thank you, again, Danielle and Andrea, for making our wedding the most memorable day of our lives!

We were recommended to Danielle and Andrea from our planner, who was unavailable for day-of coordination. Both Danielle and Andrea are very sweet and organized, and clearly familiar with all the particulars involved in a wedding. That said, we felt that a closer attention to details could have been paid to some aspects of our wedding, and that they could have split up more during the day's events to maximize coverage. Overall, we were satisfied with the services Miscellany Events provided.

Danielle and Andrea have created the ultimate solution for the busy bride who is planning her own wedding - but has no interest in carrying the clipboard on her actual wedding day. They were the perfect sounding board in the weeks leading up to the event - and suggested smart ways to nuance the day's schedule and other small details, that in the end, made all the difference. They confirmed all of my vendors day-of and worked through any production related issues without getting me unnecessarily involved. Having both of them on board gave us the chance to split up coverage between the bride and groom (different locations) as well as the venue. What I loved most is that I was able to control all of the planning, all of the scheduling, etc (things that I wasn't interested in handing off) and then turned the execution over to the 2 most professional women I could think of. They also happen to be the loveliest people and a joy to have around.

Miscellany Events made my wedding more perfect than I could have ever imagined! I was so anxious and on edge the entire morning but as soon as Danielle walked in I calmed down and knew that she would take care of everything from start to finish.
We met a few days before the wedding and went over each detail of the day. She took notes on all the little things you don’t want to have to deal with- from tips to guest transportation, things forgotten at the apartment, fire-drills that happen during the party, etc. so you can just have a great time and completely enjoy your night. She also made sure all the aesthetic details that were important to me were in exactly how I wanted them- the guest book tree, family wedding photos on the piano, extras for the cocktail hour, flowers, menus, etc. She also coordinated with all my vendors the day of and distributed their tips.
I wasn’t sure at first if I was going to do a day-of planner but was swayed after going to my cousins wedding- they had a lot of issues with their band and reception venue and the band leader and Maître d were coming to my cousin the groom and his new wife with all the problems. They spent about an hour of their evening trying to sort it out and you can't get that time back. I didn’t want us to miss a minute of our night and because of Miscellany Events I didn't have to worry about a thing.
