Paolo Ferrari was the photographer for our wedding. My husband will be the first to acknowledge that, in 32 years of life, not had a good or even decent picture taken of him. Paolo managed, on two separate occasions to change that; our engagement shoot and of course, our wedding. What's even more impressive than his work is the means by which he accomplished this significant feat. Paolo, above being a creative and beyond-personable artist, manages to put you at-ease instantly with his confident, playful and completely disarming manner. His unique vision and phenomenal ability to capture the essence of a couple, how we interact, symbols of our relationship, and even our humor with each other, in pictures is amazing. When we viewed our pictures for the first time, we both immediately had the exact same reaction: "Oh my God. That's exactly what we're like!". What's even more incredible, is that Paolo manages to accomplish all of this while remaining virtually invisible. At moments, Paolo adds his input for a beautifully captured posed photo, however, he has the remarkable ability to distill the essence of a couple in his pictures without them even realizing he is there.  What we remember of our engagement shoot, is a wonderful long walk through Central Park in New York City with someone that now feels as a mutual-friend, as evidenced by our insistence that Paolo be included in our wedding photos. Every time my husband and I look at our pictures we feel the love and togetherness we felt on one of the most important days of our life. There is no doubt that we owe a big part of our thanks for that, to Paolo.

Paolo is very patient, committed, unobtrusive and kind. He's really good at what he does, you could really count on him to capture all those beautiful moments you will never forget.

Paolo Ferraris was our photographer for our November wedding and we couldn't have ask for anyone better. It was a bit cold and windy and he just was so patient with us and our wedding party. We were married last year in Sag Harbor (church) and Montauk, NY (reception) and it was a wonderful day, the pictures say a thousand words. Paolo had an excellent eye for the casual, natural pictures that we wanted, but was also very accommodating with the more traditional pictures that were for our families. We had a bridal party of 16 plus 6 little boys ages 11 down to 4 so to say it was a great accomplishment to have everyone paying attention and looking their best is an understatement! We had the beautiful backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, but even without that we really think he would take breathtaking photos anywhere. I wish there was a spot to attach a photo that would explain it all, hopefully that will be addressed in the next version of the wedding wire
