Alvin (CEO)presented himself as a professional, however, beware will not deliver what you pay for. Most recent reviews are lies. Will send a replacement Dj who will not have any information or details about your Wedding. My groom and I were not happy with the outcome, because the replacement DJ could not deliver or play the type of music we wanted. Do your homework before signing up with Alvin he is a liar and a crook.

Alvin seemed great and very professional. But on the day of the wedding, he called to say he had an emergency and sent a replacement DJ. I have a feeling this was a lie. Still, thankfully, the replacement DJ was pretty good since people were dancing the whole night, but it wasn't perfect and a lot of my songs weren't played.

Pro Latin Entertainment was very accomodating, flexible and professional. They promptly replied to all of my emails and texts. They rapidly met me upon my request in advance of the wedding. Their experience gave me great comfort. They have done all manner of weddings in all manner of venues, near and far. I never had a doubt about the service after meeting with them. They were very professional, courteous, helpful. I should note that they have an incredibly large selection of music to choose from, and can accomodate any crowd of any age of any ethnic composition in style and class. You can't go wrong with Pro Latin Entertainiment. I would gladly use them again. Final point! They do everything they can do arrive early and be on time. Even during the worst winter storms! We were rather impressed with D.J. Alvin as our source of entertainment for our wedding. He was extremely thorough with helping to plan our event beforehand and demonstrated a top quality performance the day of. When speaking, he did an exceptional job at being clear and upbeat to our guests which made the setting inviting. He was also very conscious of keeping the reception appropriate for all ages. His improvisational skills were demonstrated at the perfect times of the evening. He also provided a lighting decorator who did a phenomenal starry night theme. Pro Latin Ent. was worth every penny and we would recommend them to anyone in need of a beautiful wedding!

Alvin is a great DJ! He went out of his way to locate some uncommon music for the event and even handled any requests we had. The newlywed game was lots of fun and Alvin presented us with a disk with our wedding music as a keepsake. I would not hesitate to use DJ Alvin again for any type of event! DJ Alvin Live was awesome! We met with him at Starbucks and as soon as we met, I knew he was our DJ! He was very attentive and when we explained the music we wanted to play. We communicated a lot and I sent him a list of songs to play. I sent it to him rather late because so much was going on, but he still pulled it all together. I was told that during the reception they wanted to set him up on the other side of the room, but he said that was not the best place to set up. I totally agree with his decision. Anyone booking an event should look at DJ Alvin Live. It took Alvin 1 wk to coordinate everything from music list (Sinatra to La Fania to Alex Gaudino), special songs, my bridal party names & arrangements with clubhouse. At my wedding the comments that I heard over and over again was how personable DJ Alvin is and no matter what request was made by a guest - he had it. He kept the party alive & energetic all night long so much so that we added an extra hr because no one wanted to stop dancing! I wanted to personally THANK YOU for a SUPERB job you did on supplying such wonderful music to my mother-in-law�s70th birthday party! All your choice selection was �perfect�, I could not have asked for better music. You gave a nice range of oldschool salsa/merengue to up-to-date salsa/merengue, you also added some 50�s,the fun electric slide and we can not forget the Disco era. Everyone raved over your choice and style of music, including myself! It was a nice mix for those in their 20�s to their 70�s!! I was wondering if you could do me a favor, since you did such a wonderful job, I would like to still enjoy that music. Would you be so kind to make me a few CD�s of that night's music. Can you make 1 CD of all the fun electric slide, festive type dance music, another of the new wave merengue/salsa as well as old school too (and we can�t forget Que Bonita Bandera!), and anything else you may have done but forgot to mention.
