Reiko did my hair and makeup for my wedding day,along with hair and make up for my mother and hair for niece. She did an amazing professional job. For my trial, all I did was show her a few hairstyle pics I wanted to mimic and she recreated each style expertly and swiftly, I was impressed! She also has excellent airbrushing skills...I had a few pimples the day of and she still made me look flawless. I have to take off one star for some clarity and communication issues. But I would still recommend her since she is a very talented stylist/artist. Just make sure you are both on the same page from the beginning! fyi, she has a busy schedule so so book early.

I had difficulty looking for someone to do hair and makeup for Asian faces, and was so happy when I finally found Reiko. I was hoping for someone that would do more natural makeup, and Reiko was able to make us all look like ourselves, but more beautiful versions of us. I had many people compliment me on the hair and makeup throughout the day. She also responds very quickly by email. She was even willing to come to my home to do the trial, which was a great time saver for someone busy with wedding planning. And she comes exactly at the time she said she would come. And when she leaves, she makes sure you look perfect first, even if that means staying a little longer.

I highly recommend Reiko. She did a fantastic job with my hair for my wedding day. I also recommend doing the trial with her so that the two of you can zero down on the exact makeup and hair style on your big day, and there would be no guesswork. I had a very tight morning schedule for my wedding (~4 hours to do 5 girls’ hair + my makeup), so I was really glad that I did the trial. Not every beauty artist has a specialty that she really, really excels at. But Reiko does – hers is definitely hair! She can spin up anything you can dream of!

Reiko did a wonderful job with my wedding day hair and makeup. Leading up to the big day, she was always quickly responsive via email with my questions. I was concerned about my facial eczema and she made sure during our trial that there were no flareups. She was also very flexible - she traveled out to new jersey where I was setting up and she even did my mother's hair even though we didn't schedule her in - Reiko was a pleasure to work with.

Reiko and her assistant did hair/makeup for my wedding (4 BMs, 2 moms, 1 grandma, and me). I could not have asked for a better experience. Reiko and Arisa arrived on time (4:30am) and stayed on (or ahead of) schedule throughout the morning working on the bridal party. They were patient, organized, and efficient. I still have no idea what Reiko put in my hair (which is normally straight), but my curls stayed in all day and yet felt soft. I was so incredibly happy with my hair and makeup - I went with airbrushing and it felt light and natural - and I highly recommend it. Reiko is a master at airbrushing and makeup. She offered a great package deal, which is totally worth it.

Reiko and her assistant Erica did a wonderful job on my wedding. I had ideas of how I thought I wanted my hair, but at my trial, after showing her what my dress and veil looked like, she came up with the perfect hairstyle. My mom looked amazing and my bridesmaids came out so fresh looking and beautiful. Reiko arrived right on time to my hotel the morning of the wedding and finished on time. She is a lovely person and I highly recommend her.

Reiko is absolutely phenomenal. She was responsive, reliable, and her work was great. Reiko brought Erica as her assistant. They arrived right on time, got straight to work. She kept to the schedule, and they did beautiful work. I was so happy with my hair & makeup - the airbrushing lasted all day & all night. We had extremely humid & hot August weather, plus a major thunderstorm at night, and I never had an issue with my makeup & hair. I had 5 girls + 3 moms in our day, and everyone's makeup/hair lasted thru the entire day. They finished the appointment, and cleaned everything before they left. Reiko is really a great hair & make up artist, and a true professional. Definitely was worth it.

Reiko was amazing! I have major problems with keeping my makeup looking fresh and not oily/shiny, and she was absolutely phenomenal in making me look flawless all day. She was also the most reasonably priced makeup artist I was able to find in New York. I would recommend her to anyone, though she does specialize in Asian makeup.

I could not have been happier with Reiko and how my hair and make-up looked on my wedding day! I went for a trial with Reiko about 5 months before the wedding and hired her right away- she was the first person I met with and I knew I wanted her right away! She was very flexible and tried out a couple of different hairstyles on me and made adjustments once I decided on the look that I wanted. She also experimented with a few makeup looks also. I knew I wanted a more natural look and worked to make sure that I was comfortable with how I looked. I wanted to look like me, only better, and Reiko did exactly what I wanted! She was right on time the day of my wedding, she and her assistant came with everything they needed and set up shop in my hotel room and got right to work on me, five of my bridesmaids and my mom and they did hair and make up for me and four of my bridesmaids, just makeup for my mom and just hair for another bridesmaid. They finished in right around 3 hours and everyone was so happy with how they looked. Most importantly, my makeup and hair lasted all night- the only thing I ever touched up was my lipstick. the same with the other girls. Reiko's prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend her services!
