We had the most amazing wedding ceremony and this was all thanks to Reverend Alison, we were feeling a little bit overwhelmed on the morning and Alison appeared like a little angel and everything was calm again. The service was so beautiful and it was just as we had asked for. spiritual and warm, incorporating words that just wrap around you as a couple, and are totally you.Alison does this so well and she is so lovely ,we could not have wished for anyone better than our Reverend Alison. I had contacted Rev. Alison after finding her on an internet search and also a recommendation list from our venue. I felt a connection with her from the very first conversation. When I met with Rev. Alison, I was greeted with her warm and friendly demeanor, which immediately made me feel like I had known her for years. My husband and I were so happy with her, we booked her right away and we weren't disappointed! This part of wedding planning was one of the easiest as we were able to communicate via email and Rev. Alison let us know in advance what we would need to have ready by the wedding. Rev. Alison allowed us to make our ceremony more personal by giving us several ways to customize our ceremony. She wrote beautiful poems that we could select to include in our ceremony based on what she had learned about our relationship during our meeting. Rev Alison did such an amazing job with our interfaith ceremony! She had a lot of great ideas for us, but also listened to us really carefully and made everything very personal. Rev Alison Caiola made our wedding unforgettable. She has a great sense of humor. We comunicated by phone to discuss the wedding ceremony and we met her in person on the day of our wedding. We both come from religious parents with different beliefs, we were stuck on how to do the wedding ceremony so we decided to do it non religious just civil. I was amazed on how Rev Alison made a civil ceremony so warm and loving. She included why me and my husband loved each other, poems and a verse from the bible of what love is. I have a daughter from a previous marriage and we wanted her to feel part of all we were doing on our wedding day so Rev Alison suggested we have a sand ceremony, which came out beautiful. In all I don't think there's another officiant like Rev Alison Caiola she loves what she does and you can see it in her work.

Reverend Alison is the warmest, kindest, most professional officiant imaginable. My husband and I were initially considering hiring a friend to marry us; I'm SO GLAD we chose Reverend Alison instead. It poured on the day of our wedding, and we had to scramble to change the plan for our ceremony. Rev Alison stayed calm and cool. She corralled the wedding party and created a new processional and recessional on the fly--something I'm positive none of our friends would have been able to do. I admit, the downpour got to me, and I was having a hard time keeping my composure. My mother and sister tried to help me, but I was melting down (and in danger of crying off my false eyelashes!). Reverend Alison saw that I was upset, and pulled me aside. She said, "Listen to me. It's not about the rain. It's about this beautiful man you're marrying." Thanks to her, I was able to pull myself together and enjoy my wedding. I'll never be able to thank her enough for her strength and kindness. During the ceremony itself, Rev Alison was the perfect blend of serious and funny. Our guests were crying one minute, and laughing the next. I got dozens and dozens of rave reviews--everyone said it was the best ceremony they'd ever attended. Reverend Alison is completely unique among officiants in that 1) she personalizes every single ceremony she does (and she doesn't charge extra for this! It's just something she does out of the goodness of her heart), and 2) she lets the bride and groom read the final draft of the ceremony before the wedding. Alison did a fantastic job weaving in the personal details we provided from our "homework" assignment. The ceremony option requests enabled us to craft a meaningful ceremony script. Some of the third party sites used were not user friendly, i.e., paypal instructions were not obvious.

Dear Future Mr. & Mrs. It is truely an honor to be able to write this letter to you! I was married on July 2, 2011 by Rev. Alison. I'm sorry I could only give her 5 stars because she is nothing less than a perfect 10! My new husband and I met Rev. Alison and had an instant connection with her. She has a warm smile and we really liked how approachable she was. She has a fun loving nature and was a delight to work with from start to finish. Being this a second wedding for both myself and my husband, we wanted to be sure that our 5 combined children would have fond memories of our wedding day to look back on, and we wanted them to celebrate with us. We were very pleased with the Ceremony that Rev Alison Caiola created for us back in June of this Year. She created a beautiful ceremony for us and we were very excited to have her be a part of the wedding. She didn't leave an eye dry during the ceremony. At times it seemed very had to get in contact with her. Therefore, I was a little concerned at the day of the wedding, but she arrived as agreed. She didn't incorporate the translation we agreed upon and didn't read the correct homework letter out loud at the ceremony. Reverand Alison is THE BEST! Truly. Having had been to a wedding or two in the past with less than perfect officiants, I was reluctant to use someone that I found on the internet. At the same time, I didn't exactly have a rolodex of officiants to chose from. Rev Alison quickly put my mind at ease and far surpassed any other officiants I interviewed. She is classy, which is reflected in her website. She was quick to respond to my inqueries. She is flexible. And she made our ceremony SO SO special. I chose right! The homework assignment she gave my husband and I (to each write why we chose one another), made our ceremony so deeply personal. there wasn't a dry eye. I later heard my mom telling a Judge friend of hers the idea suggesting that he work it into his ceremonies. She was so touched to see taht side of both myself and my groom. The sand ceremony was a GREAT suggestion. It made the kids so happy to be able to participate. And we look forward to adding one or two more colors to the family sand in the next few years. Overall, Reverend Allison showed no awareness of the details of our wedding, we had it in central park and she had no knowledge of what venues were and were not currently available (I know she was not a wedding co-ordinator). One example of this was the suggestion that we get married in the shakespeare garden a "a quiet area" with our piper. The most worrying and saddening was that whilst she requested personal information from both of us (and it was sent twice) none of it was used. For me to phone up on the monday before the wedding and be asked to remind her when and where it was, was unforgiveable, as was the blatant requests for the remaining money. Her performance was "perfunctoray" nothing more and for the money we paid and the reputation she had, it was unacceptable. at the end of the day, we had to make the most of it and could not let this get in the way

> unfortunately I do not know who this is. Many people go out of their way to ruin a vendor's reputation and it is a shame. I liked Alison from the moment I met her. She created a beautiful ceremony for us and I was very excited to have her be a part of the wedding. Sadly, the morning of my wedding, she called me from the hospital where she was sick from food poisoning. From her hospital bed, she had arranged for her friend to fill in and her friend was WONDERFUL. It was seemless, not one of our guests had any idea there was any change in the program and it was perfect. I think most people would have left it up to you to find a replacement, but before I could even freak out, she had someone for me. She's a great woman. Anyone would be lucky to have her officiate.

I would absolutely recommend using Alison to anyone.. she recognised exactly what we wanted from our wedding day and made it happen. We live in the UK and wanted to get married in New York, I didn't know what it would take to organise from over here when i set out doing it, but it was so easy and straight forward! Whatever unexpected or expected situation arose she maintained an absolute peaceful demeanor that made our day and really the weekend feel special. After the ceremony we received compliments on her ceremony from everybody we saw that night. People told us that normally ceremonies tend to be boring, but ours left them wanting more. I had a friend say to me normally he has trouble sitting through a half-hour ceremony but he wanted to sit there for 2 more hours. There was a great mixture of emotions, we laughed and cried but most of all she added the perfect amount of her personal touch. Rev ALison was extraordinary. My mother became ill a week before our wedding and Rev ALison was SOOO wonderful. She spoke to me several times, calmed me down and promised that my wedding day would be just as I had always dreamed. And it was. My mom came out of the hospital and walked down the aisle with me and my dad. Living in the UK I was concerned about using somebody for my wedding who I did not know, but Rev Alison was brilliant. Right from the first communication, she was there step by step offering advice and guidance. I knew I wanted to have the ceremony in Central Park but never having seen it, except on the internet, finding a suitable spot was a difficult decision. However Rev Alison suggested the Ladies Pavillion as a lovely spot and she was right - it was the perfect place for a wedding ceremony. We were only a small party of 7 but there is plenty of space inside the pavillion for more and overflow can all be close around the outside of it. Taking pictures was terrific - beautiful lake behind the pavillion with views of NY in the background. I know I will never need her services again but I would recommend her to anybody. Thank you Alison for all your help and preparation that made our day so special Monica

We were married by Rev Alison in Oct 2007 in Cape May NJ. She was simply amazing as an officiant!! We received so many compliments regarding our cermony, we still have people talking about our wedding and it is 3 years later. She made the cermony very personalized and intimate. I was a beautiful reflection of us as a couple.

Rev. Alison was affordable and able to work with me on a last-minute basis. I live in Chicago and she works out of New York - she was flexible to work with and in the end the ceremony was beautiful.
