Sarma was a pleasure to work with for our wedding. She was always professional, responsive and helpful. Her and Sara are very easy to be around so we felt comfortable and could always act naturally for our pictures. She answered all our questions and then some and was patient when my parents had additional questions. I really appreciated that our package included three customized albums. We got to pick the exact pictures we wanted and so did both our parents.

When selecting a wedding photographer, it was important to me that the photographer fit with the environment I was trying to create for my special day-- natural, authentic, and classy. I needed someone who would maintain the relaxed vibe AND that I could trust would capture all the special moments. I got exactly that from Sarma & Co. I remember meeting with Sarma to discuss my vision of the day and thinking that she must be a yoga instructor at night because she was so poised and calm. Throughout the entire process from our initial meeting (where she drove to meet me at my convenience in the suburbs) to the hand delivery of my album, Sarma was attentive and flexible; delivering a superior quality of service that I didn't know existed! Sarma was wonderful from start to finish. Warm and knowledgeable, she listened to our requests and delivered. She and her fellow photog were with us for ten hours on the day of, always close by but never in the way. After the wedding, she was helpful and patient as I took forever to put my final wedding album together. She was always quick to respond and friendly. I don't know how much other wedding photographers charge, so I can't really speak to the relative value. She is not inexpensive, but delivers a beautiful product - and you get to keep all your photos on a flash drive to print wherever you want. She provides excellent customer service, and hand delivered my wedding album. She was fun and easy to work with. I definitely recommend!

Working with Sara and Sarma for our wedding was a great experience. From our first meeting, through the wedding day, and afterward they have been extremely easy to work with and professional. They offered a variety of packages to fit our needs and were able to customize based on our requests. We particularly like their simple, artsy style with traditional photographs mixed in. We got married in Glen Cove, Long Island and Sarma made a trip out before the date to go over the venue and discuss where we would like certain shots taken. On the big day, they were excellent; capturing candid and formal moments while not interfering with the day's events. They helped put everyone at ease and made the day go smoothly. Last November they photographed my brother-in-law's wedding and not only did the pictures from the wedding come out great, but the relationship they built with everyone was beyond impressive. One of the main things we decided to put extra money into was our pictures and we do not regret it one bit! What you get is what you pay for and what we got was exceptional service, beautiful pictures, and the utmost professionalism from Sara and Sarma. Their remarkable creativity shows in every picture they took. If you are like us and have heard horror stories about people not liking there wedding pictures, then Sara and Sarma is the way to go we did not worry about a thing on the day of the wedding. Hands down the best decision we made! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sara & Sarma were amazing! Everything was perfectly coordinated. They made us feel very comfortable while taking our portraits and captured beautiful candid moments throughout the day. The icing on the cake was their slideshow of our wedding - such a wonderful way to remember our special day!

We could not have been more pleased with the work done by Sara & Sarma. They were very professional with everything leading up to the wedding and the actual event. They were extremely organized and well-prepared when it came to getting the important pictures (family, friends, cake, dances, etc) and it really showed in the final results. We happened to have a mix-up with our limo service (this had nothing to do with the photographers) for the wedding and did not get to go to some of the places we would've liked to take pictures. However, Sara & Sarma were able to get a lot of wonderful shots with the limited settings. Given that situation, we really couldn't have asked for more. One thing that should be said is that they really made the effort to find out what types of pictures we were looking for (lots of candids, a large group shot, etc) and really delivered on our requests. They really understood how important this day was and did a wonderful job in capturing it. Fantastic quality pictures. Also, they were really pleasant and very easy to work with. It may sound silly but when you take hundreds of photos in one day, it makes a big difference working with such nice people.

Sara and Sarma photography were excellent! I worked with just Sarma and she was great. Great ideas, easy going, flexible and understanding. I came in from out of town and she ahead of time went to the spot we were getting our photos taken and took a few pictures to make me familiar with the area. She was very well prepared and was a pleasure to work with.

Sara & Sarma were wonderful to work with. They created unique pictures and really captured the beauty of our setting. As a couple who was not completely comfortable in front of the camera they did a fantastic job of making us relaxed and getting some great candid shots. All of our guests commented on how you didn't even know they were there, they just blended in and made the day even more special.

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Sara & Sarma. From the moment we met them they were both outgoing, friendly, responsive and enthusiastic about documenting our wedding day. We were lucky enough to first work with them during our engagement shoot-- my husband and I were both nervous about posing for photos and looking natural, but they immediately put us at ease. They also take time to meet prior to the wedding to discuss key shots, locations and people, so that none of that needs to be discussed on the wedding day and they are off and running independently. Half the time I didn't even realize they were around at the wedding, as they were very unobtrusive, but when I got back the photos I was amazed at all the special moments they captured. They work in tandem capturing a different perspective of the same moment, which truly made our photos unique. Sara and Sarma were great. My husband and I met with them early on and were very pleased with their packages and professionalism. We had looked at a few other photographers beforehand but felt that other companies were too big. We wanted to know our photographers and their styles before the wedding and with big photo companies, a lot of times, you don't know who gets assigned to your wedding until closer to the day of. With Sara and Sarma, you knew that they were the ones that would be there that day. They are flexible and willing to travel. We asked them to stay later than originally planned and they were great with it. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

My wedding was a destination wedding and we had a very small group but Sara and Sarma fit in with everyone so seamlessly! They were extremely creative with our photography although our beautiful location certainly added a perfect backdrop and as a result we got the most beautiful and stunning images from them! Regardless of your setting, I highly recommend them. Their ability to capture the "feeling" of what's going on where ever it's going on is truly amazing!

My wife and I had the pleasure of having Sara and Sarma to photograph our wedding a year ago in October. The photographer is the most important consideration for any wedding as they alone capture so many of the memorable moments. Simply put, they did an absolutely fantastic job. Sara and Sarma were reliable, accommodating, energetic, friendly, and professional. It was like having two more guests at the wedding to share the day with. In looking at the pictures after the wedding, we really got to experience many of the moments we missed and relive it through our photographs. I was actually amazed at how they managed to capture so much of the action with such expression. When it comes to photographers you get what you pay for.
