It is hard to write this review, as I always hate to say negative things, but I was really disappointed with this vendor. When we first met "M" from Starflor it was awesome, we had a great time with her picking out flowers and she had great ideas. So we crossed flowers off the the "To Do" list early. And were thrilled to have found them!
A few months before the wedding we got back in touch and it took a few emails to get a response, which was not a big deal. We made a few additions and adjustments and were told, no problem they'll get done. Great! We felt good!
Well...unfortunately two days before the wedding "M" would not return emails or phone calls from me, my then fiance or our day of coordinator. We were ready to scramble and look for something else on the fly..it was a little scary. Finally, we get a call and are told everything is on schedule....well, I wish it had been. There were several large bouquets from the ceremony missing, lights that we ordered and paid for where to be on the outside of the building stairs were missing, and flowers/candles were ordered to be floating in an antique bathtub at the reception were not there (just some water in a bathtub...ugh.).
Now, none of this was a huge deal, and our guests didn't seem to notice (although I did get a few comments on the bathtub). But it was the fact that we paid for all of these items and depended upon Starflor to make sure they were there and set up. And unfortunately that is where they fell flat. I loved working with M in the beginning and it was a shame that when we really needed her to come through we felt deserted. So that is why I can't give them a raving review.
