We found Studio 450 through some wedding sites and magazine ratings more than a year before our wedding...we took one look, and were sold! The views are incredible. The rooms are a blank, white canvas. The responsiveness of the staff (both on the phone and via e-mail) was unparalleled. Our guests could not believe that we found such a gem!

Studio 450 was awesome! Everyone loved the city views and the cool breeze on the roof terrace. The ambiance and the feel of the place was perfect. Thanks again! Justin and Shana 8/18/2012

This is a beautiful loft space with great views of the Hudson River and Empire State Building. The management team was a pleasure to work with.

We selected Studio 450 for our 100 person wedding and we are so glad we did. Jane, Jim and their staff were easy to work with and they answered our questions in a timely manner and were negotiable on some points that made our life easier. We hosted a pre-ceremony cocktail party on the east side of the 12th floor with the moveable wall closed and then moved to the west side of the 12th floor where we used a 3-sided seating arrangement to maximize the impact of the view to the west during our ceremony. Our reception in the penthouse was perfect. We did heavy pass-arounds and used a lounge seating setup using Studio 450’s sofas and some rental chairs and our reception looked and felt like a full, very fun dance bar. Our guests loved the location. Jane was also a huge help the day of our event, though she remained behind-the-scenes. We highly recommend having your event at Studio 450.

Studio 450 is a great venue, and since we got married on a Thursday, we got a good price. Sergio of Studio 450 is very friendly and flexible, he will arrange the venue to suit your needs and provide you with a list of vendors that work at Studio 450. Great location, our guests loved it!

Pleasure to work with. Amazing views of the city. Great for small (100pp) wedding. Many people told us it was the most beautiful wedding they had been to.

Studio 450 is an amazing location if you are interested in raw space that is a blank palate and yours to design. It is a photography studio by day, event venue by night (and weekends). The walls are all a brilliant white and the rooftop terrace is available for a ceremony or cocktail reception. It has wrap-around views of the Hudson and downtown Manhattan and an amazing view of the Empire State Building. It was idyllic.

All our guests were wowed by the Studio 450 space. Our guest list was roughly 170 and it had plenty of room to accommodate our guests as well as a full buffet. The views of the city are stunning and it made for a perfect day. The staff is very flexible as well - all you have to do is end the party by 1am. We partied for a good 8 hours which is far longer than many other venues will allow.

This venue is absolutely magnificent. There are floor to ceiling windows that allow for beautiful NYC views. The loft is all white and lends itself to any decor you wish. The staff is very responsive in answering your questions. However, if you are planning on using a space such as this, know that you are utilizing a "raw" space and will be responsible for everything. So, you either have to be VERY good with details or have a caterer who really knows how to plan things out.

We had our wedding at Studio 450 on October 12th 2012. From the minute we booked the venue back in March up until the wedding, our experiences with the staff at Studio 450 was extremely smooth and pleasant. They were really easy to work with and didnt make anything a big issue for us. they also were kind enough to recommend caterers who they have worked with quite extensively and we forged a great relationship with them all. we also had an issue with payment - meaning the check got lost in the mail! they were really helpful on that and we sorted the issue out over the phone the very next day. pleasure working with them and would recommend their beautiful venue to others!

AMAZING! We could not have been happier with this venue. When we first started looking at wedding venues, my husband and were mixed about whether to do an outside wedding in a park or garden setting, or a city/rooftop setting. When the elevator doors opened to Studio 450, with the beautiful vast white floor, walls, ceiling and 360 degree windows, we were sold. Couple that with the amazing views of the Empire State Building, New Yorker, and other city landmarks, and we knew we had found our place. The night was incredible--our ceremony was held overlooking the river, we had cocktail hour on the roof, and the rest of the reception was held in the beautiful main room with large windows giving our guests a unique taste of Manhattan. Jane and Stacy were incredibly accomodating throughout the entire process, especially with dropping things off a day before the ceremony and picking them up later. We didn't have to worry about doing everything the day of the wedding, which definitely took a lot of stress off our shoulders. Studio 450 is an amazing venue, and because it is basically a blank canvas, you can plan and create whatever theme you can imagine. Very impressive space!

Being from Long Island, it was kind of a big deal that we were having our wedding ceremony + reception in NYC - most of our 200 guests had never been to a NYC wedding. All I can say is that 9 months later people are still talking about how amazing our wedding was and that has a lot to do with Studio 450 and its amazing views! When on the roof, you feel like you are smack dab in the middle of New York City. We had our ceremony on the roof, and our photos all have the Empire State Building in the backgroud - ahh!! Don't be overwhlemed by having to bring in a DJ, caterer, rentals, etc. They give you a list of vedors who frequent the venue and it's a great guide to go with. If you want to blow your guests away with amazing views of NYC, Studio 450 is the place!

Amazingly beautiful space that is very well maintained. We initially had some difficulty with our schedule of the day as we were married on a holiday, but in the end the owners were very helpful and the wedding was great! I would suggest clarifying details such as, the times caterers, etc can arrive and when things must be picked up prior ti signing your contract.

This venue is a beautiful palette and the view of NYC is breathtaking, if that's all u need then this venue is for you BUT I need to give fair warning...at first the owners were very nice, sweet and accommodating but once we booked and were locked in they did change their tune a bit. They did not respond to emails or calls in a timely manner at all, multiple attempts had to happen, once they are asking for payment though they are very easily reached. Also, make sure you get everything in writing well I guess that doesn't matter because a week before my wedding they told us we had a time limit on the place which wasn't on the contract at all and had to pay over time if we went over it ( and this included set up times and delivery from the vendors!!!) we also had a bunch of other very stressful miscommunications that I don't feel like getting into, thank goodness for my event planner who was able to fight the battles. If you book here make sure u have a great event planner and I recommend real foods catering who know the owners and probably have some pull when they try to cause issues... Honestly it wasn't all horrible I just felt like once I was locked in I didn't matter and that they may try to squeeze more money out...but the space is beautiful ad from what remember Jim was nice! Luckily my wedding was absolutely perfect I must say maybe it is worth the extra stress u decide...

This is a beautiful venue. We had booked with Jim Brady who is the owner of the Studio. He was at first very accomodating. Then we paid. These people are really hard to reach. Also, we had a reserved a certain amount of hours and had asked them to open an hour earlier and paid for it. They were not there at the time they said they would be. When my vendors got there there was stuff from someone else's wedding the night before still in the rooms. This made it hard for my vendors to set up and in turn my wedding was late. Also, that day in July it was 100+ degrees. They would not lower the AC temperature any more and everyone was sweating. They said this was because NYS passes some mandate and they could not lower it. They would get fined. I am not sure about this...since my friend had her wedding on the same day in Queens and the place where she got married at they put the temperature to whatever she requested, since it was such a hot day.

The venue staff was hard to contact as they book many events here. The place is also very expensive and you have to bring in every piece of furniture and decor down to the last fork. HOWEVER, it is an absolute dream location with amazing views and outdoor space for an outdoor ceremony. The perfect place to do everything on-site, altho the location is a bit out of the way.

We organized our wedding here...We liked the venue, but once they got our money, it was a really complicated. They weren't friendly anymore. They are unprofessional, not organized (have a look at their office...), it took so much time and effort to work with them and additional time to get our security deposit back... the contract is one page only which doesn't cover everything. If you want to take risks, go for it, but if you visit other venues you will see that you can find places more reliable than this place.
