I was a little concerned when hiring a company that a) I would not be able to hear live until the day of my wedding and b) Had to travel a considerable distance to come to the actual event (from New York to Southern PA), however I was not in the least let down. Alice and Cameron sounded absolutely stunning at our ceremony! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I know who is getting married in the area. They were especially amazing at the flexibility of their repertoire. We wanted a very different kind of sound for our wedding, and they were able to play everything from Disney songs to the Beatles and Elvis acoustically. It was amazing, and after the ceremony our guests could not stop talking about how great the music was and neat it was to play 'name the song' with the various pop culture songs we had selected for the violinist and cellist to play. They were also one of the best deals in terms of pricing that we could find which was a huge bonus as well. The only down point was some of the lag time between email responses was sometimes a little while, but nothing too drastic. All in all, an outstanding performance!

They were great. I had wanted them to play classical music/jazz during the cocktail hour but during the wedding, my husband asked them to play cover songs instead. They were able to do that without any hesitation. And in such short notice!

We had Alice and Cameron play during our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I worked with Alice prior to the wedding to select our music. I had a couple special requests and she was very helpful and accommodating. Alice and Cameron arrived on time and performed beautifully! We had a very wonderful experience working with Ten Strings and would definitely use them again for a future event!

FANTASTIC!!!! WOW! I read reviews of Alice online and booked Ten Strings without ever even meeting or hearing them. I had a specific song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and she found the sheet music and they played it for me at no extra charge. We had them play for our ceremony and cocktail hour. At the cocktail hour they played string versions of pop songs and everyone still compliments on how amazing they sounded. Alice was very easy to speak to and she was helpful with offering options for ceremony music. She is a little difficult to get in contact with over the phone but their beautiful playing and trustworthiness made up for it ten fold. When planning your wedding you rely on so many people and a lot tend to let you down, not the case at all with Ten Strings they went above and beyond my expectations.

I was not planning on having live music at my wedding when the original planning process started- am I sure glad I did!! Alice and her team are responsive, talented professionals who added a whole new dimension to our funky Brooklyn wedding. The cello-violin duo was exactly what we needed. Everyone thought it was such a great touch the ceremony. After we left our ceremony for photos, many of our guests stayed to enjoy the music and chit-chat. The only thing I would have changed was to have slowed down a bit that day to get a chance to really enjoy them more myself!!!

They were absolutely great. They were punctual and on time. We had a violinist come down for our rehearsal, and she was very polite and professional, she gave us tips and recommendations for music selection, and I'm so glad we got the string quartet. The wedding was great and they just helped make it better.

Ten strings were very professional. They had a wide variety of music to choose from. We hired a violin cello duo and they came on time ready to please the crowd. They played great music and stuck to the plan. They even agreed to extend a little bit after the cocktail hour to play our entrance song to the reception. It was really nice of them to accommodate this request. We're glad we made the right choice by having ten strings in our wedding.

Alice @ Ten Strings responded right away and was very fair with her pricing. Amy, the violinist was amazing!!!! Amy showed up early and was able to coordinate when and what to play during the ceremony and played a mirad of great music to keep the mood during the cocktail hour...I highly recommend their services!

Alice and the other musicians were a pleasure to work with. They were very accommodating with the music arrangements and had a very wide variety of music available for us to choose from. On the day of the wedding, they were able to swiftly set up indoors even though they arrived expecting an outdoor ceremony and they delivered an awesome performance.

Having a cello and violin Player at our ceremony was the best decision we made. Very professional, great musicians and amazing to work with. I highly recommend using ten strings for your event. You will be very pleased!!

We hired Carol to perform as a solo violinist for our wedding ceremony and we couldn't have been happier. She showed up early, she offered a lot of great suggestions on music, and (most importantly) she played beautifully. Ten Strings was phenomenal - they provided great music at an affordable price, and not only honored my requests but didn't complain when I got them the music only two weeks before the ceremony and took forever to give them a repertoire list. They did all of this at a price point that was more than reasonable. I'll only ever have one wedding, but if I had to do it all over again I'd hire them in a second.

Ten Strings was wonderful and did a great job at our wedding ceremony. My fiance's limo hit traffic on the way to the ceremony and wound up being an hour late. Alice and her musicians powered through and continued to entertain our guests until she finally arrived. Alice was great to work with and helped us immensely with music selections through out the ceremony. And, probably most importantly, they were amazing musicians. They played every song beautifully and our guests commented on how wonderful the music was. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.
