Tim was our wedding photographer for our wedding on August 4th in Spring Lake, New Jersey. He and his partner did such an amazing job on our wedding photos. They made it such an easy day! Many people in our bridal party (who have been in numerous weddings) said that we had the easiest/ quickest pictures they have ever been a part of. And by no means, did this cut the quality of our pictures short. Our guests commented on the professionalism of Tim and how whenever there was a shot wanted, he was there! My fiancé and I got engaged this past March in Central Park. We have been wanting to come back to get professional pictures. We saw that Timecut Photography had good reviews so we gave it a shot. Turned out to be a good decision, because, not only was the price great, the pictures turned out perfect. Tim was accommodating with our schedule and also had great ideas for picture locations, poses, etc. We received the edited pictures one week after the shoot and they looked great. Highly recommend

Tim and his wonderful family traveled all the way to Negril, Jamaica to photograph our wedding. We couldn't have dreamed of finding a better photographer!! From the engagement session to the day-after shoot, Tim has given us gorgeous photos that truly capture all the emotion and excitement we experienced on our special day. He is very professional yet super low-key, in a way that really put us at ease and let us be ourselves during our portrait shots. We opted for the “first look” before the ceremony which Tim choreographed beautifully, capturing some of our most favorite photos of the day. He blended into our four-hour reception seamlessly and got some awesome action shots on the dance floor. Within a few days of the wedding, Tim had already put together a slideshow of some of our best shots (right before Christmas). It really was wonderful to have these photos to share with our families during the holidays– and he did it without us asking. Tim is a very kind person who truly does put his clients first. This review is long overdue. My wedding was in November and Tim was an integral piece to our smooth sailing wedding day. Whether it was helping us coordinate a day of schedule, to making wedding slide shows at the 11th hour (that's right, multiple), to being as flexible as possible when scheduling changed last minute, Tim was calm, cool and collected. More importantly, he kept us calm, cool and collected on the days leading to the wedding and day of. Because of Tim, we were able to get the family and first look shots we wanted earlier in the day so that my husband and I were able to enjoy our ENTIRE cocktail hour. He and his assistant were professional and friendly and were very accommodating when we needed overtime services. He provided an instantaneous slideshow of the earlier in the day events during the reception. Our pictures came out beautifully and the dvds beautifully packaged when delivered. We were extremely happy with Tim's services and are proud to say we not only got a photographer out of him, but a friend.

Tim and his assistant were our photographers for our recent wedding on Long Island. We first met with Tim for our engagement session where he made us feel at ease and gave us just enough direction to capture some gorgeous pictures. Now, shortly after our wedding, we cannot thank Tim enough for being so professional and attentive on our wedding day. We barely knew he was around but we trusted that he was busy capturing the important moments we would want to hold onto. We have seen a few pictures while we wait for his final proofs and the few pictures we have seen are incredible. Tim was very responsive and on top of things during the whole wedding process. He takes great photos that captures the emotions of the day. We have gotten many compliments from family and friends on our engagment and wedding pictures. Tim is also very professional. On the day of the wedding he arrived thirty minutes early and started shooting right away. He was also very patient with our large family. During the reception Tim teamed up with our DJ and showed some pictures from our ceremony on the big screen. Our guest who couldn't make it to the ceremony loved it. Tim from Timecut is an excellent wedding photographer. His photos are classic and beautiful and really captured the spirit of our day. He is very flexible and responsive, willing to consider any ideas we had and making sure we were happy with everything he was doing along the way. His rates represent excellent value for money, especially considering the quality and quantity of the end product. On our wedding day, along with his second shooter (who we expected), Tim also brought along an assistant who helped with set up and even captured some shots of our guests as the night progressed. Between the three of them all aspects of our wedding were thoroughly and beautifully documented. As a surprise for us, they set up a laptop at our reception which showed some of the photos that were taken earlier in the day – our guests really enjoyed it. Tim had some preview photos of us on his blog a few days after the wedding, and a few weeks later delivered over 1,500 gorgeous pictures on DVD (3 copies, so we could share with our parents). Everyone has commented on the quality of our pictures and we are finding it extremely difficult to pick the ones we want in our album – there are so many beautiful shots to choose from. We could not be happier with our choice of wedding photographer.

Tim was so patient with my rowdy bridal party...we had little time inbetween ceremony and reception and he made the most of the small time slot we had. I had such a big family and lengthy shot list and he worked very well with us. Tim was patient and kind and took some beautiful shots. Turn around time for our pictures was very quick. Tim was wonderful from engagement shoot to wedding day. He was incredibly responsive, always getting back to us within just a few hours. Tim from Timecut Photography was our favorite vendor of the day! Tim’s tireless dedication to our day truly shows in all our pictures. Tim’s work speaks for itself, he is an extremely talented photographer. However, beyond the excellence of his work, he is a truly kind and wonderful person, who is 100% there to capture all the happenings and emotions of your day. At one point during a pre-wedding ceremony, I broke down and started crying because the music wasn’t working. Tim snuck some shots of me crying and my friends later commented on how even those shots were just works of art. We knew Tim was going to be great when we first met him – he was so curious to learn everything about us. Through the entire process, he was always open to ideas, and as we approached the big day, he asked us all sorts of questions to make sure he was fully prepared for every moment of the day. Such dedication to preparation is remarkable and made me feel he wouldn’t miss a thing! Tim was our photographer for (4) events: our engagement, two pre-wedding ceremonies, and our wedding. The last three events were three days in a row and long hours, but Tim was so energetic for all the events, he worked tirelessly and with much enthusiasm. So many of our guests commented on how he was everywhere, capturing everything and how nice he was to everyone at all times. Its rare that your guests even notice your photographer, but Tim’s dedication was so obvious that even our guests noticed. Tim and his wife Vivian are a team. And although Vivian was an assistant during our engagement session, she was unable to assist during our wedding because they were expecting their first child! The day after the wedding though, I received the sweetest text from her wishing us only the very best and apologizing for missing our big day – who does that?! I was so touched by this gesture of kindness. We truly felt that they were both invested in our day not only as photographers, but as friends. The one thing I recommend everyone do, and not just with their photographer, but with all their vendors is sit down and let your vendor know of specific things you may want from them. With a photographer, for example, tell him if there are certain “must-have” shots because while they are dedicated to your day, they cannot read minds and you should tell them of things you expect prior to the day. For example, do you want shots of the food? Or is there a specific place at your venue where you would prefer to take your portrait shots? Whatever your ideas are, share them with Tim and Vivian because they will make sure to capture them digitally!

Words can't express the gratitude and admiration that I have for Tim Wong. He outdid himself during the entire wedding process from my engagement pictures, to personal pictures, and wedding day pictures. He is truly a talented individual who not only listens to your vision but executes it with professionalism, quality, and true value. He and his assistant are awesome to work with. Tim and Vivian are an amazing team and I absolutely recommend their services! We had our engagement shoot with them a few months ago and I still cannot stop smiling at the beautiful photos they took. They are a very friendly and personable team, which helped put us at ease since we have no experience and were quite nervous. Within the first couple of minutes, they had us relaxed and it shows in the photos (a forced pose is never good!). After our engagement shoot, I couldn't wait until the wedding to see what magic Tim & Vivian would work! Well, we didn't have to wait long. The day after our wedding, Tim had already posted up teaser pics on his website and I LOVE them! They captured some very intimate and special moments, but I don't even recall noticing the camera. Tim & Vivian are very non-obtrusive - you don't notice them really, but as evident in the teaser they perfectly capture all those little moments! I look at the photos and can feel the emotions that Tim was able to capture. I mean it when I say that you can see the love and dedication that Tim & Vivian have for photography. They go above and beyond to make certain that not a single special moment is missed.

Tim and Vivian surpassed our expectations! The photos turned out absolutely beautiful and everyone that has seen them comments how wonderful they are. Every phone call and email was returned immediately from the beginning until even after the wedding. Time and Vivian arrived three hours prior to the start of the wedding and stayed until the very end to capture every moment. I'm extremely satisfied with this vendor. They were so flexible (e.g. my cake cutting ceremony was later than expected, but they stayed) and understanding about the unpredictability that sometimes occurs at weddings. My wedding had many different components (2 ceremonies, cocktail and reception) and over 300 guests, and they were able to capture the event so beautifully. In addition, they were organized and very pleasant to work with.

We booked Tim from the other side of the world (traveling to NYC from Sydney Australia) and from all email communication, to our telephone conversations, Tim could not be more accommodating, professional, and a pleasure to deal with.
