I had my rehearsal dinner in the private room downstairs at Trattoria Cinque. Everything about this place is amazing, I'm not sure where to begin. First, the service and assistance in planning this event was perfect. They were very accommodating and helpful, assisting me in decision making that was in my best interest. The menu options were extensive, and the food was amazing. (Especially the Eggplant Timballo). Even when served for large groups, the food was still as good as when dining with a small group. The downstairs room is perfect for a private party, and they were very helpful with A/V equipment. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, and with all of the options in NYC, I'm thrilled that I chose this one!

> Melissa, Thanks you so very much! This is so helpful for us. We tend to get a lot of leads from our listing on this sight. I really appreciate you taking the time to do this I know you are very busy! Kind Regards, Kerry

My maid of honor chose Cinque for my bridal shower on April 1st. She had done a lot of research for a trendy location with good food that could comfortably accomodate at least 50-60 people. She met with Kerri, the manager, and they worked together to come up with a brunch program that provided a lot of variety for my guests + would satisfy a tough bride. Kerri had been kind enough to allow my MOH and bridesmaids to set up the space about an hour before show time. All we really needed were a few bunches of wild flowers and mason jars and the rustic spaciousness of the downstairs room really came to life. I really have a weakness for exposed brick. Kerri was also really kind to give us no problem for our evolving guest list. I hadn't seen the space until the day of and I thought after the fact that it really was a good space for a bridal shower or any private event because: 1) The Privacy of the Space. There was a large private bar room where I had a chance to take photos, have cocktails and mingle with my guests before meal time. There was an elevator which made all the grandma's happy. There was a downstairs bathroom, making everyone happy. We were even allowed to bring our own MP3 player and have a playlist. 2) Friendly and Helpful Staff. The staff jumped in right away to help us set up our flowers, bringing in my registry gifts, which they had set up a gift table right in the dining area and provided beverage service for all the guests as they walked in. The best thing is no one seemed like they were annoyed to be in on a Sunday morning. They were around when you needed them but not too overbearing while we were enjoying our meal and even during gift opening time. They also were really helpful at packing up all my gifts into cars after the event. 3) Good Food. We had read amazing reviews of the pear and gorgonzola pizza and rightfully so, because everyone was blown away by this item. It was huge, so perfect for swapping bites and really had well developed flavor and richness. That was by far the best thing I had that day. The pasta option was tasty- good aldente pasta and hearty pasta sauce. 4) Good Value. We thought we received great value at a reasonable price. For anyone planning a group event in Manhattan will quickly find out how difficult it is to get quality for an affordable price. Cinque really was able to deliver and work with our budget. I was really pleased about how my bridal shower played out and I think Cinque was a great choice. Kudos to my MOH. Lastly, thank you again to Kerri and the staff. Look forward to stuffing my face with more pear gorgonzola pizza post wedding!

I celebrated our wedding at Trattoria Cinque (Tribeca Area) on wed April 4th 2012. We booked the party few weeks before with the banquet manager: Kerry. I have to say that also all the staff behind her, starting from Stacy and Alessandro, were really helpfull on realizing our requests on time. Myself, the groom, members of the wedding party and my family felt so well taken care of and welcome to join the food. We arrived at the restaurant and stopped at the bar for the first cheers with the guests and then we moved to the private room called "garage room". The room was full of ballons and well organized to welcome our guests. We had a great option on ordering appetizers and main course and the whole staff was really polite and kind. Food, ofcourse, couldnt taste better... Branzino was fresh and it was one of the best i have ever eat in NYC. Choose Trattoria Cinque was the best choise we took and i cant describe enough how happy we all were. I truly recommend this restaurant for wedding ceremonies and i must to thank Kerry and Stacy one more time for being so sweet and kind with us... Giulia&Matteo

Best restaurant/Best staff - My wedding was canceled due to Hurricane Irene and Kerry and Trattoria Staff managed to pull together a new wedding at their venue with less than 8 hours notice in the middle of the storm and went above and beyond their duties to make it memorable. It was stunning, everyone is still raving about the food, and they will forever be my favorite restaurant in NYC. We love you guys!!!
