Charlie's Custom Tailor is the best tailor I have ever come across. At first I was skeptical, because I saw that he catered to men's suit, but I am so glad that I made the choice to use their service. Marco was my tailor and he was wonderful. He turned my size 20 wedding gown into a BEAUTIFUL size 14 and it fit me like a glove. His prices were extremely reasonable and I was overjoyed and completely satisfied with his work and kindness!

This review is well over-due. The gentleman who tailored my Wife's dress, did an unbelievable job. It was "The Dress" my Wife wanted after trying it on at Macy's, however, it was well over our budget ($2200, just to give you an idea of what that would be). Coincidentally enough, I found the exact same dress on Ebay for $800, being sold by a model who wore it for a shoot a week prior. Unfortunately it was a size 8 and my Wife is a size 1-2. For just over $200, he altered the dress to fit perfectly and threw in the stuff that goes under it. The tailoring and alternations you require will be done very well. They can also be done very quickly. BUT you will be paying the highest price possible. The location is relatively convenient (42nd and Lex) but the place itself could use an upgrade. Everyone working there seemed very kind and professional but they were a bit disorganized and the layout is terrible. My tailor was exceptional. So kind and thoughtful. If I could have taken her out of there, I would have.
