I am surprised that Yun has only gotten two Yelp reviews so far since judging from his website and blog, he is super busy and has tons of fans these days! Yun did our wedding photos back in August and I loved them! Yun is rather young and works out of a small studio in Union Square, but he is a great find. He's incredibly professional, timely, easy to work with, and has an amazing style and eye for a great photo. At times, my husband and I would just be goofing off and he would capture amazing shots. We got our photos on a DVD with a slideshow about 2 months after our wedding. I think that is an amazing turnaround time, especially considering that we were in the peak of wedding season (August) and he goes through all the pictures and edits them. I didn't order my book through him, so I can't say how his albums are, but everything else about our photo experience was awesome!

Yun was amazing to work with and such a nice guy. I would definitely recommend him to anyone to use. His work is unique and he is fun to have around the day of your engagement pictures and wedding.

Yun is absolutely fantastic!!! Not to mention being a fantastic photographer, Yun is a ton of fun. We had so much fun hanging out with him on our wedding day, and our bridal party and parents kept telling us how much fun he was and how easy it was to work with him. I don't want to ignore Yun's assistant photographer, Ryan, either. He was amazing and made everyone feel super comfortable, and even helped the groomsmen pin on their boutonnieres. Both guys went above and beyond and I recommend them to anyone who wants a great photographer who is great to work with.

Yun has this special ability to capture a moment in a way that no one else can. We used to say over and over whenever we saw new photos on his blog that he has such a great eye for these things. Even before our first meeting with him, we fell in love with his photos. Equally as important, Yun is also just one of the best people to work with. His easygoing attitude and enjoyment in his work won us over easily. He always responded quickly to emails and never left us hanging or doubtful. We couldn't wait for him to work his magic on us. He spent a whole day with us at the Bronx Zoo for our engagement shoot and helped us get out of our shells. During the wedding day itself, we barely even noticed him..and the pictures that came out were amazing! We've had so many compliments from our guests about how marvelous Yun's pictures are. We are so happy that we were able to have him as our wedding photographer. We love that we can look at his photos and relive all the liveliness, joy, love, beauty, and energy of our wedding day!

We got referred to Yun by a friend and working with him was one of the best decisions we made! Yun is extremely easy to work with, responsive, and very professional and he also makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera! It was an absolute pleasure working with him and words can't express how happy we are with all of the pictures!! Thank you Yun!

Yun is a great photographer. He's definitely exceeded our expectation with the awesome shots he took of our wedding. I am fairly particular about photographs as I felt that they would be something that I will look at over and over again and I really did my research looking for photographers. I had so many compliments on our photographs and he has just the right mix of photographic artistry and photojournalism. I would definitely recommend and have him take photos of our wedding all over again!!

My husband and I do not have enough words to describe how happy and how impressed we are with our wedding pictures and with Yun as a person. All you have to do is look at his website, his photographs "WOW" and AMAZE you. He is extremely skilled and obviously passionate about his work. One other thing about Yun, if you are camera-shy, don't worry, he really makes you feel comfortable and easy in front of the camera. My husband and I have decided that when we have our first baby, Yun will take our family portraits.

An amazing photographer with a great eye. I have not seen our wedding photos yet (as it has only been 2 weeks after our wedding), but our engagement photos with Yun looked great - very few posed shots, natural poses, great lighting, beautiful pictures. . He makes you feel very much at ease while he is shooting and and is always professional. Yun is incredibly accessible by email, text, phone, and always available. He came with us to Philly to take pictures for our engagement shoot! He also knows the city very well and can offer a lot of suggestions regarding where to take pictures, etc.

Yun was amazing! After doing our engagement pictures with Yun, we decided to fly him out to photograph our wedding events! He was professional, reliable, and what impressed us most is that he had even checked out our venue ahead of time! I cannot recommend him enough. You will not go wrong with Yun-all around amazing photographer and great guy to work with!!

Consistently amazing. He has at 2 weddings I am involved with (one being my own) and Yun still makes each wedding so unique, with a consistent quailty of professionalism. Great personality and easy to work with. Definitely someone who is passionate about their work.

What can I say about Yun. He is a VERY talented photographer with ninja like skills. he answered everyone of my questions with detailed responses and was open to suggestions. Everyone loved our pictures and I cannot thank him enough.

Yun Gen was the second vendor we booked. I can truly say he was one of my favorites! He is unbelievably talented. His work is fresh and creative. He surely has a gift!! Yun Gen is 100% flexible and accommodating. His second photographer, Thai, was just as awesome. The two of them made the perfect team!! It's been almost five months since our wedding and our friends & family are still fawning over our photos! Yun Gen Yang's photos speak louder than words. I cannot rave enough about Yun Gen Yang. He is an amazing photographer with great technique and an artistic eye. Everything from booking him, to communicating with him through e-mail, to the engagement shoot, to the wedding, and after the wedding went smoothly. His ability to tell a story through his photos makes him special. All my guests and family loved the photos and all thanked me for sharing my photos with them since they were able to relive that day through those pictures. One even cried watching the slideshow. He's based in NYC, but our wedding was in Boston. Yun is extremely talented and paying him the overnight travel fee was definitely worth it. One thing that we also really liked about him was that he was so laid back and easy to get along with. You can also tell that he's really passionate about photography. He's hard to book, so I highly suggest that if you want him as your photographer (and I know you will) book him now!

Yun was an absolute pleasure to work with, and we've heard nothing but raves about our wedding pictures. He was extremely responsive, and never failed to answer any of our questions quickly and in a detailed manner. Yun is a great guy, and we never doubted our choice to use him!

Yun was outstanding! His work, his eye, his equipment - everything was on point! I too still recieve compliments on my pictures. The best thing is when people see the slideshow for the first time it takes their breath away and usually end with them in tears stating "My photogrpaher SUCKED!!" I have part of my wedding party thinking up reasons just to take pictures done by him. Yun is a top notch photographer and I'm very pleased to have the opportunity to utilize his services. I recomend him to all of my clients, friends and family that are in need of a photographer. Has camera - will travel!! He's the best!!

we can not say enough about Yun- he is wonderful and his pictures are amazing. we still receive compliments on our pictures, 6 months later... he is very friendly and our guests noticed his professionalism and his enthusiasm. At one point during the ceremony my husband looked over and saw Yun 'shaking out his hands' from taking so many pictures!! Yun worked with us on a package to fit our needs and budget. We will recommended him to everyone we can! We also plan on somehow using him in the future!
